seed Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 which circuit breaker silence the landing gear horn permanently??
Eddie Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 There isn't one. It's supposed to be 'annoying', either remedy the situation causing the warning tone to be emitted or press the L/G Warn Silence button. 1
seed Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 i feel sorry for poor real life pilots they have to suffer hearing it when extend or retract landing gear duh...

joey45 Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 FYI, on the Ausie F-111 I believe the gear did not go down and a wheels up landing had to be done.. Hence the arrester cable... The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Eddie Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 And this: Although in the case of DK there was a gear selector fault, and the pilot didn't notice the unsafe gear indications.

agathorn Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Am I missing something here? I mean the tone after gear up/down lasts all of maybe 2-3 seconds and then its gone. The only time it stays on is if there is a malfunction, and that's usually good to know.
