Upcoming L-39 mod for FC2 and FC3!

Hey guys! All of this week and last week, I have been working hard on a L-39 Albatros for Flaming Cliffs 2 and Flaming Cliffs 3. The mod is guaranteed to be in Flaming Cliffs 2 but may not be on Flaming Cliffs 3. I hope to get it into FC3 but, it may not be possible. A few screenshots of the mod so far. Enjoy :)

don't be negative Nopileus however many of us already use existing flyable mods for Albatros.

personally i would be happier if Crash would release another model.

we already have a nice ZA and ZO Alba model so an Avro Vulcan or a Hawker Hunter should be more preferable i think

Red1 forget the L39. There are a few in the pipe for FC. Continue with the Hunter for FC3

Instead of making a whole new model why not make a 3D cockpit for FC3? No offense but a new model is kind of pointless. What we really need is cockpits for the planes already in the game.

Well red1 I salute your efforts, but I think you could better expend your energy in another direction. While your skill at producing this 3D model is commendable , do,you have a plan/timetable/development pathway to back it up,with ?

 

I think it's important to realise that with the DCS series is populated with some casual,gamers but mostly folk who like their experience pretty much at the quality end (not all Ill grant you).

Maybe your on a pathway to becoming a great Flight Sim developer or producer. Therefore some advice, if you don't mind. Be realistic, Don't announce with great gusto that your project "will". Be this that or the other and then not make the grade, you will be slated for that. Listen to advice, there a lot to be had from some immensely experienced simmers here, many who have been pulling on their virtual Joysticks :music_whistling: longer than you have been breathing.

 

Don't rise to rudeness or negative comments, it's the interweb, shit happens.

Hey guys!

Animations are finally working on my L-39 now. They are working properly but I just need to animate the final parts such as gear doors and canopy animations etc. I will upload a video tonight when I have got home from school. I will also upload a few pics on the cockpit.

Your efforts are comendable fella, and as someone who lives very local to me, I will be supportive and point you in the direction of Nickmows post, some solid advice there.

 

Obviously you have a talent for creation there, but it just needs focusing in the right direction. Dont give up what you do, because it will become very useful to the whole community once the efforts are focused :)

 

Well done for getting animations working by the way, this is all very good practice and encouraging to see somone young taking on a project like this.

I actually have something else planned for FC2 (L-29 Delphin) but once I have done the L-39 and the other project I may be thinking of making a Jaguar GR.1. Thanks for the suggestion anyway :D

Oh boy, Just dont "wipe your hard drive" again. Also I wonder if this mod is ahead behind or concurent with the Hunter, Victor, Vulcan and what ever else your publishing ? Oh yep possibly a Jaguar, what a busy boy.

A public beta of my L-39 will be available either next week or the week after as I am currently working on my L-29 Delphin for private use. I will either upload it to lockonfiles (hopefully with a successful upload) or mediafire.

So , its probably wiser not to mention what your doing for private use , yasee .

 

If you mentioned your doing an F-105 for private use , I would be pissed off , as I obviously cant use it , but know its out there . So , it would be kinder (to us) not to mention it at all ..... :)
