ED already considered it (and put a test model ingame) here's a video of it. It's not a fake, ED just made a concept.

Since the beta has already been out, and the alpha is expected soon, I doubt anything further will be added at this late date, and I sure hope not. I rerally really hoping, that alot of these serious bugs are going to be fixed this time in LOMAC.

I would just love to fly the harrier, i know there is a game with the harrier in it thtas being developed, i cant recall the name, but i bet BGP knows, cuz he reminded me about it ages ago. It some south american company, and the website does have screenies and it does look a nice game.

 

but i fully agree, the uk version of the harrier would be nice to have in lockon, if thats too much then the av8 will do.

 

 

if that vid is for real, then that would be a magic addon, that and the ch53 helo is what would make my wet dreams cum true. :p

It's Jet Thunder - and it's also planning to include the Mirage, the A4, and the Pucara. Nice.

 

 

Harrier in Lomac probably isn't going to happen.

since they worked on this couldnt they atleast release it as a mod, and come up with an extremly simple cockpit, i think that would be a kicker as a mod or in 1.2

In order to incorporate the Harrier, you will need to incorporate LHA's LHD's or the British aircraft carriers. If you watch carrier ops with Harriers, they DO NOT take off like in the video, especially with a combat load. They get a runnin start and then transition into vertical flight.

 

If ED does incorporate the Harrier they should model how much time Harriers spend being broken versus actual flight time!! :)
