Eventually see a dynamic campaign. Not a question of "if" but "when" (1.10.00)

Eventually man will leave the solar system, its not a question of "if" but "when". :smartass:

Hard choice between the F-18 and the VEAO hawk for me.... so I went with EDGE as it will hopefully improve the world these aircraft inhabit greatly.

Yep. The poll only allows for 10 options, so I tried to pick the highest profile options.

Should probably have picked Beczl's Mig-21 ahead of the Coretex Superbug, though. My bad. :(

I just cant wait to drop the Biz like no tomorrow.

Definitely DC, it will add more longterm motivation than any other single new module. It's so important to me, if DCS had a robust dynamic campaign, I might get out of BMS completely, even though I like the F-16 much more than the A-10 as far as planes go. Combine it with an ED level F-15C or F/A-18C? I'd never ask for anything from Santa ever again...

my thoughts exactly....

Something to add with the dynamic campaign :

Autonomous ground AI that can have a specific mission/reactions :

- move to / defend an objective,

- hide in cities,

- call for support,

- retreat when outnumbered or bad morale, too much tired,

- get out of vehicles and run to the hills (run for their liiiife)

That would make the missions much more simple to create and extend the re-playability :)

Seem like Hornet is very popular here.

I'm +1 for "All of the above" however I really think we need some new maps. Something, anything.

Tough one.

For me it has to be DC followed closely by EDGE, EDGE in a solid tree infested Eastern Europe, lots of low cloud cover.

My Black Shark will love it.

HP G2 Reverb (Needs upgrading), Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate. set to OpenXR, but Open XR tool kit disabled.

DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), DLSS setting is quality at 1.0. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC... Everything needs upgrading in this system!.

Vaicom user and what a superb freebie it is! Virpil Mongoose T50M3 base & Mongoose CM2 Grip (not set for dead stick), Virpil TCS collective with counterbalance kit (woof woof). Virpil Apache Grip (OMG). MFG pedals with damper upgrade. Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound... goodbye VRS.

DCS: F-15C on the bleeding EDGE. :D

Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D

I'm going to have to go with MiG 21 as my first choice, followed by EDGE, if it allows more of the world to be included.

been waiting for Nevada since the Hogs beta 1 . I cried a little when it was taken away from us. still I wait here patiently for its return. So I would have to say Nevada.

There are no words to discribe just how much the DCS series needs a new area to fly in.

A Dynamic campaign in the style of IL-2's? That would be........Epic but I'm a sucker Sukhoi and I'd really love to see a fully 1:1 realistic SU-27SM with cockpit fully done in style of KA-50 or A-10C

I'm really looking forward to the Razbam's F-15E. Especially if it is two seated (Two players in the same aircraft) like the rumors suggest. I and a friend really want to fly in the same plane and push the teamwork to the extreme ;)

can't wait for the f-18 :)

Yep - been flying BS and the A-10 for years now and loving it, but can't wait to strap on a DCS- quality F/A-18...

As long term and major update, I'm looking forward to EDGE.

Then, when the 'graphical basement' is stable, DCS: F/A-18C of course.

In parallel, 3rd parties can work on / release their module at desired speed.

DCS Wish: Turbulences affecting surrounding aircraft...

Don't get your hopes up too much... yet. Currently the first module to be released looks to be the UH-1 Huey. It will feature multiple seating locations for a single human player, but currently the code-base provided by ED does not support multi-human players in same vehicle.

My guess is that this feature (multi-human, single vehicle) will be coming and based upon how long it appears to be taking these 3rd parties to release their modules (1 - 2 years) it may just work out to where the code supports multi-human vehicles as the F-15E gets close to finished.

Current roadmap for ED is: get FC3 and CA out of Beta and released, then get DCS Fast Mover ("Fighter") out the door... EDGE who knows... and then ... other stuff. My guess is FC3 / CA and Fast Mover by end of year with multitudes of updates... hopefully EDGE.

Like you and everyone else I would LOVE to see multi-human playable craft... it would really bring the SIM to a whole new level. I personally consider this multi-human playable craft feature to be a critical piece as it opens up the field for 3rd parties and for multitudes of craft.

Crew coordination would also cast an even wider net and haul in more players to the SIM since you wouldn't necessarily have to be the "pilot" in order to play... WSO / RIO positions. I have plenty of friends that would love being gunner.

Cheers!

Oh, I'm prepared to wait :)

Of course, when I go to sleep I'm going to, in secret, wish that the day when all of these things were released would be tomorrow ;)
