...I had a real nice flight there yesterday, ping around 100-120ms.

...and I did not break any of your virtual plane stock, like last week :music_whistling:

 

I would really like to join your forum, but this seems to be difficult for me :helpsmilie:

 

The registration seems to have objections concerning my nick and/or email address, or something else.

Shahdoh is working on a new course but it needs some coding work to allow multiple aircraft to go through the course at once. Its a WIP at the moment, although we have flown the path of the new course a couple of times.

 

The Tbilisi course is finished but its only really viable for Mustangs which obviously limits our pilots so we have elected not to put that on the server.

 

As the server is mainly for aerobatics with the course as a side event we cant have 2 courses on the server at the same time. As it simply provides too many messages etc on the server.

Its also a matter of the timing involved. Due to how it checks for aircrafts in the gate areas, to many at once can cause frame rate issues. This is more then likely due to poor coding on my part, but until we can find a solution, only 1 course on the server at a time. Thanks for your interest in the courses!

 

On another note, if anyone is very knowledgeable with lua and would like to help me get the racing code to the next level, please shoot me a PM. I can use all the help I can get.

Yes. A good long memory and knowledge of the behavior of your aircraft at different speeds and modes are important.

Black out isn't so terrible, it's just a pointer approaching the limit loads and opportunities for maneuvering.

The ability to control the aircraft at extreme overload is an important skill for the virtual pilot.

And for BVR and WVR (CAC or ACM) in general an important factor in the survival and victory. :)

I am glad to report that was succeeded to improve slightly my previous race record time from 116,66 sec to 116,56 sec. ))))

It was my last attempt on record establishment in a simulator v1.2.4 :)

P.S. Yesterday when me flying on your server I with surprise found the changed settings of aerodynamics model of the Su-27 plane which considerably improved its opportunities on the course in one of players. I was surprised as it is the first case in FC3.

I suggest administrators of the server to include the following files in the Integrity Check mechanism:

I got banned for criticising the frame rate within the Virtual Aerobatics server a month ago.

One feature that we've wanted on the VA website for a while was a fully working downloads area where we could host all the skins used in the server (with authors permission), Missions & Mods. Today, I have finally managed to implement a working system and, over the next few days, we'll begin to add content to the website.
