bumfire Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 They need to also solo the throttle, as the tension on mine has already worn down to nothing. The tensioning wheel, it pushes and pulls a tiny plastic brake type system on the throttle, the more tension the harder the plastic piece is up against the throttles, but it wears down really quickly, so unless TM sells replacement parts which this could only be worth 1 quid on a good day, then i dont fancy buying a new throttle and stick package again just because of a tiny worthless piece of plastic. I would however if it came to it buy another throttle on its own.
SkateZilla Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 they need to start making hornet sticks Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2), ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9) 3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs
Feed Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 If ThrustMaster "needs" to do anything, they "need" to start selling the circuit boards contained in the grip, so builders can make good on the old promise of interchangable grips that was made back with the Cougar.
Cali Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 That is good news, but at $355 dollars! Wolf Rider Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 and maybe some pedals perhaps? cichlidfan Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 and maybe some pedals perhaps? The lack of pedals really does annoy me, especially since they make such nice ones for racing. Rahband Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 (edited) Maybe a new set of warthog mfcd bezels would be a good idea to replace the F-16 ones Edited April 25, 2013 by Rahband
Revvin Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Choice is a good thing, surely a standalone throttle will follow? it may well sell well to those with other brands of stick who long for a split throttle, I know its a popular talking point in my forum. A standalone Cougar throttle would be good, they have all the moulds still surely and could hopefully revamp it and replace the dodgy pots with hall sensors. Pedals have been a long time coming and they never did get around to producing those additional handles that were talked about when the Cougar was released. 1
