nap0leonic Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 good lord, so many f-18 sim are being worked out there, is it that impossible to wish all of them just combine their effort and release it for DCS?
-Rudel- Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 there should be a new Jane's F-18 Mod coming, where it's been completely overhauled, as a Team has acquired the source code (or so I've heard). Yes I'm part of the team. :smilewink: We do have it, but we're lacking in the C++ department. It's hard to develop when it's non-funded organization. Since 9/11, a lot of members became real busy. https://magnitude-3.com/ https://www.facebook.com/magnitude3llc https://www.youtube.com/@magnitude_3 i9 13900K, 128GB RAM, RTX 4090, Win10Pro, 2 x 2TB SSD, 1 x 15TB SSD U.2 i9 10980XE, 128GB RAM, RTX 3090Ti, Win10 Pro, 2 x 256GB SSD, 4 x 512GB SSD RAID 0, 6 x 4TB HDD RAID 6, 9361-8i RAID Controller i7 4960X, 64GB RAM, GTX Titan X Black, Win10 Pro, 512GB PCIe SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD

TimeKilla Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Looks really good am not sure I would be able to justify the price as am not big into that type of aircraft and the fact am waiting on a new helicopter coming. :music_whistling: Just noticed that includes the Accu-Sim flight model that takes out the standard FSX flight model and makes it really really close to the real thing in that case the price is actually really good if your into that type of aircraft and want to fly by the book! A2A is really a top class dev after using Acc-Sim tech, I really can't fly any plane in FSX without it they all fly the same. :joystick: YouTube :pilotfly: TimeKilla on Flight Sims over at YouTube.

WildBillKelsoe Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 (edited) ^ Piper cub???? :/ buying it today. I love A2A stuff and frankly, I never seen a developer for FSX do such creative stuff. I am fortunate to have discovered them. Edited September 3, 2013 by WildBillKelsoe AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. I am fortunate to have discovered them. It does not go fast but it is a nice little tail dragger that is still fun to fly. Great in a place like Hawaii or New Zealand with a nice terrain addon. MTFDarkEagle Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 You should also consider aerosofts airbus X extended. i highly recommend it. Hmm.. Wasn't the AAX more downgraded? Key question: if I'm used to the 737NGX,777,Q400 type of realism (HYPER realism!!) will the AAX not dissapoint? I'm looking forward to the FSL airbus. Its the FSL bus that will not disappoint...judging from the feature list they may just outdo PMDG and all the rest.

That's exactly what I thought and exactly why I thought the AAX would dissapoint me personally. Well when I say dissapoint I mean not up to scratch for my enjoyment. Key question: if I'm used to the 737NGX,777,Q400 type of realism (HYPER realism!!) will the AAX not dissapoint? I'm looking forward to the FSL airbus. no its the airbus X. then they released airbus X extended that has CFM/IAE engine variants with lots of airlines, a functional (yet under-developed MCDU that you can view on a tablet as well as pause the sim), extended voice update for 2013, and RAAS (which comes as a bonus). AES is not included in the package but can augment the already beautiful airbus A320/1 in realism. Be advised though, it takes a huge toll on FPS. Their Kok fella has his voice inside with a copilot for running checklists. I just got C172 by A2A so I'm transitioning between the two.
