flyer49 Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I have created a military scenario using my "mission editor" but can't figure out how to insert a flyable aircraft into the scenario so that I can fly it. Also I want to ultimately be able to make the scenario multiplay-able so that I can place it on the multiply servers. Please advise. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 229th battalion, 1st Cavalry
aussieboy Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Page 122 of the DCS user manual explains what you need to do to fly it in MP, it's needs to be set as a client in the skills comboBox.
flyer49 Posted May 18, 2013 Author Posted May 18, 2013 Where do I find this manual...I bought as a download with no paperwork. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 229th battalion, 1st Cavalry

ENO Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Change the skill level to CLIENT..... Actually for MP it's more like that ^ I have created a military scenario using my "mission editor" but can't figure out how to insert a flyable aircraft into the scenario so that I can fly it. Also I want to ultimately be able to make the scenario multiplay-able so that I can place it on the multiply servers. Please advise. Akula Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 For non-AI groups, you have two selections: - Client. If you wish the aircraft to be flown by a human in a multiplayer game, set it as Client. Do not set aircraft to Player in a multiplayer game. - Player. Set the aircraft to Player when you want it to be flown by a human player in a single-player mission/campaign. shagrat Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 In general setting the Aircraft to client works for both, single and multiplayer. The only difference is, if you use client it will ask you to choose your aircraft before jumping into the cockpit (even if there is only one). This way you can easily try MP missions in single player (Main Menu>Mission). aaron886 Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Looks like the answer has been posted. Just a heads up... this is in the wrong forum. Should probably be in "Missions and Campaigns"

By the way, if one aircraft is set to player and others to client, they are all selectable in multiplayer (even the "player" one), and any failure setting will work out on all playable aircraft (player and clients). 2nd French Fighter Squadron
