stuart666 Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Is this the original 'G- Huey' that was flying in the 1980s at airshows? That one got captured from Argentina in the falklands and was flying in those colours for years. Great shots, thanks for that. 1
Cowboy10uk Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 (edited) No mate, sorry I got the tail number wrong. This is G UH-IH Although the Pilot Rob, is the guy who brought G-Huey back to UK. JDski Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Did it shake like the sim going through transition? I bet you were a bit more nervous than you would have been now that your familiar with the vortex ring stall and was probably keeping an eye on his decent rate.
Cowboy10uk Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 Lol strangely enough I was expecting major shaking but no, it was comparatively smooth. I was concerned that the module fm had been dumbed down to much with latest patch. But she really is that smooth. Only main difference in RL is I survived the landing, rather than ending it in a smoking hole. ;) Belsimtek have truly done an amazing job. She really does feel like the real thing, with this latest version. joey45 Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 21st century witchcraft... The big thing is probably a GPS of some kind. The smaller thing is i think a radio thingy. 1 The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. smnwrx Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 it looks like a digital EFIS (electronic flight information system). Usually has attitude, airspeed and alt all incorporated in one display. Very common in experimental GA planes. The new Iranian Stealth is full of them
doright Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Very cool Cowboy. I am surprised that they let you fly after all those recent strokes. On the other hand who knows what traumas would have occurred with you didn't.
