Dear DCS Pilots,

 

little update.

 

I'm still busy texturing the SA342 Gazelle which is high priority. If I would work the whole day on the module It would already been finished. So you may guess that I have a job :D. That's why I only have time in the evening (unless I'm on holidays). I proceed in a good way on the BO-105.

 

BO-105 internal Cockpit texturing: -> Done ! <-

 

BO-105 external Texturing at 50 %

 

full clearance is still waiting. I cannot use the name BO-105 PAH1A1 because it is copyrighted. We're busy finding some solutions. Since the helicopter is still on duty, we have to be very careful, otherwise -> jail.

 

As I mentioned a long time ago that some people complaing that there are no newer aircrafts available for DCS. That's because the aircrafts's/helicopter's data are nato confidental/restricted. You'll have to make a contract with the owner/developer of the aircraft/herlicopter all other trials will guide you into jail :(

Current state is a 30 % go from Eurocopter. All responsible persons have been informed (they are still on summer holiday :cry:)

 

I actually have contacts at Eurocopter (CEO Eurocopter Africa) let me know if you hit a brick wall.

Very nice guys. If possible can you provide me with cockpitsounds like Battery-Switch on/off sound, engine 1 and 2 start sound. Simply everything what makes noises. I would me thankful for that . Please prevent background noices :)

It would be great to have photos of the cockpit details, like floor, seats, stick, pitch etc. (Current state is textures made by my own). I think the more realistic the textures looks, the better it is :).

I also need pictures of the Weapon-Control-Terminal (backside and fitting).

i have to ask,..a friend on the local airport owns several of them...

will give short feedback ...problem more or less..

i have not a good sound captureing..could try my old minidiosc recorder..but can t promise anything...

but i yet have several shots from the collective, if needed i can share via pm or Skype!) or simplky build for you in 3d,..which program are you using?

Very good Scudslaker:thumbup:. I actually modeled the collective but you can send me yours. I use 3ds max 2013. Hope they release the ED Plugins for that version.

29.06.2013 Update !

 

Today i finished (reworked) the Weapon Carrier with the HOT-Tubes. The current model have 2400 Polys. Further details like bondings and screws will be done when the whole model is done

 

Current state of the whole helicopter model is 20.000 polys.

some bad timing here,..just started a new job today,..will get diffcult to support the pics as it s difficult to find a date with the owner of the bo105..most time of the year he is on tour around europe doing technical inspections .. i send him a mail..as i didn t get him on the phone so far..we ll see)

Update 02.07.2013.

 

Yesterday I got BO-105 photos and I decided to remodel the whole fuselage/tail based on this drawings (more realistic). I just got finished with the model today :). Screenshots willl be coming soon.

 

Furthermore I asked Ariel Wings Consulting to give me a hand regarding the integration stuff. I got a go on that :thumbup:.

 

Tasks:

 

- improving helicopter details (60 % done)

- reskinning
