Waiting for first discount on DCS: Mi-8MTV2

I second. I am extremely pissed that they pulled this stunt again. You can say all you want about my complaining, but this is ridiculous. We have worked hard for our money. For a product to get a 60% reduction in price in 2 WEEKS in BETA stage, I cannot comprehend this.

 

I have learned my lesson. I will NEVER but a BST product at full price again. This is a slap in the face.

That's partly what message boards are for. To assist people is getting up to speed. I'm sure may of us have posted questions that have been answered before (myself included).

 

People will master it. They just need to be put in the right direction.

With a steady influx of new people (which should be a good thing) there will always be repetitive questions. And with a forum as large and active as this, searching previous threads can be discouraging at times especially those threads that get really large. I don't mind seeing repeat questions except when the next thread on the page obviously addresses the same question.

 

I have limited financial resources at present so it was significant for me to spend the 50.00 for the beta but I thought to help the progress of these helicopters. A 60% off sale 2 weeks later just seems thoughtless. If anything, a deal should have been offered up front to the people willing to support an early beta release

It´s curious people pay for a Beta 50 dollars, and now for a less betta 60% less.

 

This goes in 180º degrees ways, look Arma 3:

 

You buy a Beta to support 25 euros, finished product 45 euros

Is it a valid market yet if 75% of people who bought product at full price during the 2 first week wait the next 60% discount next time ?

 

It's not an hard question and only you have all cards in hand for answer ... a "yes" or a "no" will be enough.

Everybody knows that this kind of sale may happen shortly after beta release. (Done in the past with Huey).

 

So what ? I cried for Huey :cry:, but I kept my CC warm in my wallet until tomorrow for the Mi-8. :D

I was happy to pay $50 dollars to support the developers, but to see it in a 60% off sale a few weeks later... 15-20% I could deal with. 60 is very dissapointing.

 

Im still happy I bought it, but as a customer, its a real problem to see such practices. How about making it up to the original customers by giving them free beta on your next product?
