I just wanted to give those of you who don't browse the user files at all times a heads up about my Ace Combat skins that I've made (and are making more of) for DCS FC3! (I will be adding some for the other modules too, but not for now). Here are a couple of pictures. Search for my username in the user files for download! Much more to come! It has come to my attention that the pilot in the Su-27 uses a skin by Home Fries, so credit for everything but the logos and flags related to Ace Combat goes to him. Here is how you install these: -Download and extract the file. -Move the folder(the one with the .dds files in it) into the aircraft's liveries folder, located in ....Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Bazar/Liveries/[AIRCRAFT] Here is a picture to help- Now you can enjoy your awesome new Ace Combat skins! and every update i have to do so again, right ? LegoHeli Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 The A-10 idolmaster MIGHT be made in the future - I'm not much of a ground strike pilot, so I'm bad at getting A-10s done. Would you prefer it for the C or the A model when I get there? This A-10 IS coming as soon as I figure out how to do the lightnings properly.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Frogisis Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 (edited) I absolutely love Ace Combat (Make 7 already!) and love you for making these. Any plans for some Osea, Belka, or Razgriz skins? Also, did you say you were making missions in that style? That would be so awesome... I experimented with a few just for my own practice with the editor, but it's just not the same when all you have is text in the upper right. Something with the detail, challenge, and technical realism of DCS but the balls-out "Tolkien by way of Tom Clancy" story, characters, and in-mission "radio theater" of Ace Combat would be the apotheosis of games for me. I want to be made to believe in and care about the other pilots and grunts, even the enemy ones - Who cares if it's not realistic that you could hear all that; that's exactly the kind of thing I need to cancel out the un-realism of me sitting in my apartment in sweatpants, looking at a screen and holding a plastic joystick. A while ago I made the Galm Team F-15C skins from Ace Combat Zero and put them on LockOn Files; I should go upload them here now... aaaaand it doesn't seem to be working. I'll try again later. LegoHeli Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 I've made a couple of missions so far - the first mission from Ace Combat 2, Mayhem from Ace Combat Zero (with your skins), Glacial Skies from Ace Combat Zero, working on a couple from AC5 (but I haven't made the Wardog skins yet, so they will be a while). They're set up so that they can be played in multiplayer as a co-op against the AI, so when I release the pack we can do those radio transmissions ourselves ;) You can even set up Teamspeak to broadcast the music from the mission in repeat, so yea.

I also did not see a Mobius One skin on Lock On files (preferably for the F-15C) - did you happen to do one and upload it elsewhere? Nice work on the skins you have currently released. I am using the Galm 1/2 and they look amazing. Just downloaded some other ones and will install them.

Long answer: Yes, but we are approaching finals time and I don't have time to do them if I also want to fly a little as well. Patience! EDIT: I never did any Mobius skins, I will eventually. I'm having trouble getting good references though, and currently I have no way of hooking my Playstation to anything.
