maybe I crashed it with my Ping from Eastern US.

 

Nobody has gotten even close to my pings, yet. My best ping tonight was something like 750ms. But other than some minor warping (not as bad as I expected) everything seemed to run just peachy.

Was getting some weird Warping and Shadows as I was departing Kubuletti Airspace.

Nice Job Guys. I had doubts about the effectiveness of this one. Due to all the members dedication you guys pulled it off.

I am ecstatic over the direction the team is taking the implementation of DCSW, the partnerships graphic updates(present and future). This is the only software I own that I am absolutely proud to have been a small part of and to own.

I thought the server did quite well with a constant 32 clients. Can you tell us what the internet upload was and what kind of machine it was running on?

Im hosting this MP sessions.

 

It's a 10 MBit upload line. The server is an i7-920 CPU, 16 GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX780ti.

 

But i wasn't flying myself, i saw just the map all the time :)

Do we need a mid week session? I can run one on Wednesday if need be.

 

Firehouse server is now run on a 980X, 12gb RAM and a 15 up connection. It is located in Southern Alberta, Canada.

 

Would help if we knew what types of conditions we needed to test- or is it best just to keep things open and let'er rip?

Thanks for the reply Groove. I was interested as I sometimes put up a server, and I have similiar specs. Although I only have 6 Mb upload.

 

I generally go for a fly at the same time, and sometimes alt tab out of the game to look at other things. I did wonder if this would contribute towards a server crash, if the server was doing something else.

If needs arise, I can host. From the Netherlands, with 100MBit (fibreglass) up- and download (4670k,8gb,gtx570). Though not coming saturday, it's my fathers birthdayparty :)
