nr1jc Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Hi, as 1.2.7 is out i wanted to get my patch fix fixed :P During the first install where the updater gets changet it hung and nothing happend. restartet the computer(as a stupid QNT i am) and now it wont boot With the updater just the run file so i can still enjoy 1.2.6 but as soon i try to update it lest me know how a stupid QNT i am by not letting me update. Is it possible to just download the updater?? stuck on a 2-4Mb line and im at 12-17Hours left of a Complete reinstall [sIGPIC]www.vjokers.no[/sIGPIC]

What it does is just hangs on the message "searching for updates" like it is searching, but nothing else happens. I waited for an hour and then had to kill the process. I tried few times, and the result is always the same. I tried repair, and it hangs just like the new updater. 2. The DCS MOVIE information! 4. Can you please check and report dcs_updater.exe properties: version and digital signature? Dmitry S. I tried a full uninstall and then the World was updated and started without any problem. Tone71 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 My updater wouldn't update either, it was just hanging until I rebooted. This must have corrupted the updater/repair programs because I got the same error message about "program not compatible... etc". I restored my entire "bin" folder to a previous version (Sunday backup), disabled uTorrent and Steam (in case they were downloading) and tried the updater again and it worked. For the record, I also have Bitdefender installed. Windows 10 Home, Intel Core i7-9700K @ 4.6GHz, Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (8GB VRAM) on 34" LG curved monitor @ 3440x1440, 32GB RAM, TrackIR 3 (with Vector Expansion), Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Pedals, Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs.

DCS_Updater run in a cmd prompt Windows, same error message. Could someone put his working DCS_updater file (important: compatible to Version 1.2.7.23097) in google drive so that everyone which have problems can replace it ??? Edited January 25, 2014 by sniff
