  2. The SU17M4 would be the perfect aircraft for DCS. Very fast, good avionics, and capable of carrying powerful weapons, such as the KH29T, KH59 cruise missile, and KH58 anti-radar missile. But there's no official confirmation, is there? The mig23ml/a/d is needed so that the F4 and F1 have an equal opponent.

  4. Just a question about the asset packs - is it just models or also AI? Or is it somehow limited by some "core AI"? Because my sense of immersion is much more destroyed when I see a bunch of army guys tackling a very difficult problem called "a fence" or even "going around a building", acting like idiots, really. In that moment, I just don't care whether they are a modern or WWII unit. Sure, DCS planes also have bugs, often unattended for a decade, but at least they are the core experience. Too much stuff is deemed not important for years - even in planes - but when it comes to tech packs, it's another level. NS430 having no radio (although prominently mentioned on the shop page), CA is more of a gimmick with many quality issues, so maybe that's why my perception of anything beyond aircraft and maps (although... maps are also getting complicated) is a bit stained. Don't worry, I'll likely buy it, but pardon my Stockholm syndrome. There is a reason for it.

  10. CMs already stated the team responsible for other REDfor planes will be the MiG-29 team and that product must be successful. Recent posts made clear there are intentions of making popular Russian jets and the F-35 has nothing to do with it. The only thing keeping ED from making them is workforce as of now as things seems to have switched from the past years. They just need to get the 29A out of the door and the community that begs for redfor aircraft needs to buy it.

  13. Thx for this precious infos In summary: does this jet can do what the F4 can do or will this jet be only a fashion module buy? ( no offense in this question, just a matter ok knowledge).
  14. I feel like if the "credible" F35 module is liked by the customers, ED may consider recent Russian aircraft with "credible" level of simulation. For older aircraft like mig 23 or su 22, everything is possible. This is what I believe
  15. Keep in mind you guys, with any TGP installed, the Viper needs a bit of rudder trim out of neutral if you're after a perfectly steady trimmed plane. Not mandatory. I found myself going after trimming roll all the time up high and a bit of rudder trim resolved the unwanted yaw/roll. (it is really tiny)

  17. Hi guys, A bug has been found on Mission 3. It looks like the AI FAC is not following the previous instructions after the first egagement, this is resulting on some triggers not firing properly. A fix has been put in place. You can have the updated version here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1sI5bZfjuyxTrfp0gXV2I_113CXVVy78w?usp=sharing Just replace it in your DCS World\Mods\campaigns\UH-1H The Huey Last Show folder, i will send it to ED to push it in their next update. That is what I thought until recently I played again the DC of this other simulator, I have to say I was impressed: -generated packages makes total sense, with ToT, OCA, sead support and even stand off jamming if required -Briefing page gives you all you need:iff codes, l16 codes, friendly armor pushes in the area, AWACS and tanker support... -those comms... I just love the realistic AWACS calls, and ATC comms talking not just to you but to all existing AI in the battlefield. -the AI gives you a really hard time, they will bait you into Sam traps or just into other enemies, -battlefield or main DC page gives you an overview of the battlefield including the amazing info coming from jstars assets which is really great Idk, it is great, having said that I am really looking forward to what DCS can create specially over a long period of time through multiple iterations.   19. Не удается оценить новый котёл. Загрузка миссии завершается сообщением «mission load done» и полностью закрашенной шкалой. Но дальше ничего не происходит. —- На =BK=4, миссия POLIGON_GR, нет вызова бота противника в зону ДВБ по меню F10. Танкер летает KC-135MPRS, у которого не работает штанга, только корзины (древняя проблема DCS)

  21. I also curious if they will use the most realistic planes in a scenario. So in a Iraq 1991 settings. No su33 for example. I dont mind if the correct version is not exactly the aircraft a county used. So mirafe f1 for iraq (not being the Q variant).
  22. There's more to it than that. You also need to check if the model has a damage model (damage sections, lines, perhaps even decals). So it's not as simple as changing a zero to a one.
  23. You can delete the MT shortcut. Both versions are MT (actually, they are identical) now but ED has left a bin-MT folder for backwards compatibility so they don't have to deal with the support calls for the shortcut no longer working if they remove that folder. It will get removed at some point when enough people stop using it.
