  2. I purchased a new system. Still have the older system and it has all DCS software. How to proceed? I would like to have all my DCS software on the new system. Can I download all from DCS portal to the new system without some kind of conflict? I really do not want to copy everything from the older system to the new. I will delete all DCS from the older system and install newest MS FLTE sim and IL2, and put DCS on the new system. Another thought, I want to install all my controller software on yet another system and have it integrated with the new system. So in effect there will be two computers running different parts for DCS. Will this work? Thanks, Laz
  3. I aborted the mission on my first run because I didn't confirm that the coordinates (by TGP) were on the target before pickle the CBUs. As a result, I missed the two SA-2s. The wingman's 1 HARM also failed to hit SA-6, causing the opponent to shut down and restart when the strike package was ready to push. Meanwhile, the wingman and I had already winchester. The SA-8 isn't a real threat to me. Its radar shows up on my RWR and HAD, which helps me stay outside of its MEZ and easy to evade. The main problem is the low visibility from the clouds, I'm hesitant to descend because I'm worried about undetected MANPADS popping up and taking a cheap shot. Retry. I got a 99 on M3 last night, I have no idea why I lost that single point, maybe I was just too tired LOL. There's nothing to care about. --------------- With that first experience under my belt, I was confident enough to fly below the clouds and use my TGP to confirm and correct the positional error between waypoints (9, 10, 11) and main targets. I even adjusted the CBU-103's spin rate and burst altitude to maximize the area of destruction, knowing that hitting the target would trigger a secondary explosion. (thanks for the bonus, ChillNG LMAO) YGBSM! Lets 'go M4!
  4. Nice work! [emoji1319] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  6. Yes, I got mine used too, and I've already heavily modified it. I removed the USB cables and replaced them with female USB ports, so I could just unplug them from the front and remove them, like the Winwing ones. I replaced the pinky switch, the china switch the Slew cursor and the AP grip button, and I think I need to replace the brake and the autopilot switches as I think they are starting to fail.
  7. Надо просто понимать, что покупка любого модуля может привести к не запланированной "тыкве" без компенсации и иметь это ввиду при их покупке.
  8. I get this issue too, changing between narrow and wide XR modes with the pinky switch. Just a little nudge on the cursor in any direction and only then will it actually start the XR processing in the other fov. I'll try to get a track later today.
  9. Sorry. I meant your headset. I see that you are using VD and have PD at 1.1 in DCS. What setting do you have in VD? Godlike?
  10. So, you have both a physical issue and issues in the sim? I got my Warthog second hand, and have had to replace at least one switch. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  11. The MiG-29 has a SNP-2 (TWS) mode for firing at 2 targets. However, the radar captures the target at STT. Which shouldn 't be the case . Since such a guidance principle is not possible for the R-77
  12. This means we are getting the improved code for RWR systems right? Since it is the same device. Ty
  13. I don't think doing it slowly will make a difference. Latching switches have that phenomenon where nothing is happening, then at some point you apply enough force that it latches into the new position immediately. I don't remember it, but it has a name. I don't know, it may as well just be a faulty one. I'm tempted to gut it and replace all the electronics with my own. I'm already familiar with DIY gaming devices, so it shouldn't be too dificult.
  14. I just built 9 rigs with B850 chipset with Gigabyte boards and 9600X for office use tho, 32GB 6000MT and a 1TB 990Pro. Solid rigs and the board has all it needs if you stay in normal boundaries. If you don't need the extras 870 has, 850 is a solid choice and about half the price.
  15. I realize this would be incredibly low in the priority list. But it would be super cool for training campaigns to shoot at towed dart targets instead of peppering real planes. I don’t know if it would just be a matter of doing the 3d model and using a physical model similar to the refueling basket or if it would need to be done from the ground up.
  16. Thx for the update! Patience is hard though What would the F1CT/CR bring functionality wise? 4 Sidewinders was only CG, right?
  17. 1TB ssd is currently sub 50 bucks..... just saying.... Games getting bigger (greetings from the 4K-era), and storage becoming vastly cheaper is just the way the cookie crumbles nowadays. I'm curious to see how many GBs GTA VI will have.
  19. You were right, I had to redo everything, clean it, and reinstall. Everything works now. Thanks for for patience.
  20. The reason as why the two assets aren't player controllable at the moment is because I chose to implement a more advanced radar (with channels), compared to the old core assets. I always prioritize to try to make the assets as realistic as possible as AI. That said, I've reworked the two assets with the aim to make them player controllable in an update.
  21. That's very strange. I've never had issues, and since the Warthog is so popular, one would think a lot more users would have reported similar issues. What happens if you move the switches slowly? I know a couple of other modules, like the F1, have issues if one moves the flap lever too fast. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  22. Which is why I ran my tests on unlimted fuel, both with full internal and 51lb as the lowest possible rather than running until an empty state. Achieving that maximum ceiling in both enviroments to see what they are. Even with just 4x SD10s the top speed is 1.30-1.35 with a span of 220nm, depending on how many minutes after 1.30 you want to wait and test. (Again in an unlimited fuel state.) and roughly the 1.15 as demonstrated by you in a more viable situation. I understand why one gets to its ceiling faster than the other generally speaking. But not when a payload is signigantly lighter and according to LUA represents 45% of another ones drag. I could certainly see if we had been talking ceilings of maybe 5 or 6% but can't expect there to only be a 15% decrease in the ceiling of a payload with over twice the drag in the same distance. We're talking about 4x SD10s here and 2 pylons vs 2 extremely large cluster bombs 2x SD10s & 2x PL-5s. Does mass somehow have a play in this through the LUA? Help me understand what it is I am missing, you know this stuff far better than I do. I merely play the video game.
  23. @BIGNEWY Any word on this matter? Besides the fact that the missile is overperforming in the A/A role, its not realistic on top of being bugged.
  24. Today
  25. Thanks! I’m not at my pc, I don’t recall which mission it is exactly, but I’m glad you like the approach. When you imvest a lot of effort into flying a mission properly, in its entirety, even a little bit of action can be thrilling. Especially when you taxi back and shut her down
