I know this sounds pretty strange, but I had another instance of one gear not coming down. The plane didn't fly normally again, with one wing wanting to dip. I verified only one gear down on the F2 view. I raised the gear & lowered them again, but one gear still didn't come down. I was all set to send this track . When I watched the track though, it showed both gear extended. I wish I had taken another screen shot at the time so it doesn't look like I'm nuts. I did get a chance to check the hydraulic pressure this time though & it was normal.

The DCS log file shows that there is an OpenXR runtime issue and the session was lost. Don't know at this stage if this was a side-effect of something else in the game triggering this. This is possibly why VR freezes but you continue to hear sound. Do you get this issue in 2D? I note you're also using the OpenXR Toolkit so recommend disabling this as well to rule our any issues there. Sometimes, some MP servers run very slow especially lots of users, map, and low-level fly (airfields).... Any chance tries a MP server with less users (says less 10) for the FPS test?

Yes of course, in game it's available on the CE, EE for player and IA CT and CR. The BE/B had never been able to use it, so I limited it to those who could carry them IRL and the 2 single seater playable version. And as the single and the two seater versions shares the same file for the chaff flares emiter position, you lose the original spanish position for them. As they don't pass the IC, I made the latest version with OVGME, so you can revert easily to the original from MP if needed.

Weight itself doesn't affect top speed, but rather affects acceleration towards the same top speed. One also has to take into account that the JF-17's RD-93 is not very powerful. Also, drag isn't linear with velocity and thus isn't 1:1. The JF-17 with the 2x PL-5 + 2x SD-10 is still able to accelerate towards the higher numbers, albeit slowly, due to the thrust overcoming the drag but the amount it is overcoming the drag is not that much, which is why it slowly accelerates towards the maximum. The GB-6 loadout isn't able to exceed the drag at ~Mach 1 with the thrust available to the JF-17. You can observe this behavior with other aircraft as well as this isn't a JF-17 exclusive thing. Also, feel free to read other materials available online that can help you understand aerodynamics. You can also look for the T.O. GR1F-16CJ-1-1 supplemental flight manual online and look at the level acceleration tables that detail how drag indices and weight affect distance traveled, time, etc., to reach a certain Mach number.

Update, it seems linked to the F4E ... On other planes, FPS range from 50 to 80 FPS, disappointing with my setup but playable

Being fair, I had mine for probably 5 years and gave it away in working condition, though the throttle axis was clearly a bit "dirty" by then.

The red lamp does not glow on my DCS, even tough the Master Armament switch is ON, Rocket Power ON, there are rockets on the wing mounts, and the engine is running (in case the battery alone didn't provide power for the Rocket Box). Is this a bug, or an item not yet implemented? The Safety plug seems to not be implemented, which makes sense as it is an item mostly used by the Ground Crew to prevent accidental rocket launches.

As I am currently conceptualizing a campaign for the Kiowa Warrior, I have been wondering how the Kiowa configuration options and weapon choices available in DCS could be utilized to somewhat realistically depict certain timeline variants. Particularly with regard to the available cockpit version and the performance of the MMS, I wonder how early a Kiowa Warrior equipped with AN/ALQ-144 and without APKWS or L2MUM could realistically be dated. Would a late or even mid-90s scenario be realistic here, or would that be too early for the version of the Kiowa Warrior available to us? Are there any other available configuration settings or weapon restrictions in DCS that would support the representation of an earlier version of the helicopter?

Hello everyone, I just upgraded my PC to a RTX 5080 and DCS runs smoothly around 200FPS on 4K except on MP servers where it is totally unplayable (32 FPS max no matter the graphical settings, with drops in the air around 5 FPS). The rest of my config : I9 10900K, RAM 64Gb, DCS is installed on an M2 SSD , win 11. What I don't understand is that both the GPU and the CPU runs only around 20% of their capabilities on MP servers, whereas in single player it goes normally to 80-100% for the GPU and 30-40% for the CPU. NB: - I uninstalled TACVIEW - Disables GPU scheduling in windows - Disabled game mode - My drivers are up to date, the game as well - NVIDIA Overlay is disabled - I repaired the game, no error - My paghe file is 65536mb - I tried to rename the hook folder in scripts to hook.bak - I uninstalled mods, just have current hill still installed but I do not see the link? Мне кажется, если говорить о РУС, для погружения важнее ощущать в руке ручку джойстика, тактильно и по расположению кнопок/хаток/рычагов похожую если не на конкретный прототип, то, хотя бы, на что-то усредненное от самолёта. Причем, облуплять на своей ручке рычаг тормоза мне ни разу в голову не приходило.. Это вот эта разница в облезлости реального и игрового рычага тормоза покоя не даёт? …
