  1. Past hour
  2. I guess that works, until the missile stops tracking Anyway, for the time being I am swapping them around
  3. Here are some screenshots from the replay. At some point the radar stops track and IRST takes over. Why? never dropped the lock never changed the radar setting. Then as seen on the last screenshot, distance is 4 km head on and all stations are highlighted indicating there is a weapon solution for all weapons but could not launch any of them.
  4. The gain of the antennas is easily known. We know the threshold of signal strength needed for detection. They then just need to know the radiation pattern of the 50-70 antenna to know what level of signal strength is needed to be detected by its sidelobe in conjunction with mainlobe of rear antenna
  5. Okay one last question about SPO other then if 16-30 kHz MPRF really can’t he blanked The Su-27SK manual says with radar on you get front hemisphere warning and X category with strength of 5-8 signal strength. The one MiG-29 manual mentioning radar interfering SPO says it causes “chaotic” readings. Why is ours shut off then? I would think with 5-8 signal strength of X category, there is still possibility that a higher strength radar could become priority.
  6. I agree. Using clusters on Bluefor jets leaves you in awe of the destructive effect. Especially how they modeled the realistic effect of the subs hitting the ground sequentially. The Redfor RBK clusters just suck, the sub-munitions all magically hit the ground at the same time creating just a single impact event, (instead of the awesome spectacle as they hit the ground one by one, as per many sources of visual reference). The KMGU seems a little better but the RBK's are pretty ordinary, I feel like using the OFAB250-270, is more effective.
  7. Have no reason to believe that the proper antenna gain patterns aren't modelled considering all of the statements made by ED through the whitepaper and other places like the interview answers in the flyandwire video.
  8. They have achieved that very well
  9. To be 100% clear: the map/editor will be free and included with the plane, and well also be removing the branding. This ZERO subscription/ongoing cost to this module. Not optionally, not required. None, whatsoever.
  10. Yesterday
  11. I have no idea what you are talking about to be honest.
  12. How many horizontal antenna inputs are presently implemented in SPO-15 of the module (not counting vertical direction antennas)?
  13. Okay. Only seems to happen when you take off from a NON-airbase location. Taking off from the ground at a FOB seems to have it happen the most.
  14. After Enigma's (insightful at times) "leaked" video last week: I'd just like to say, DCS still has no rival. It will NEVER be bug free (it is WAY too complex and comprehensive), never. Most of the negative comments about DCS underneath his video are absurd to me. The constant comparison to BMS is mind-boggling. If DCS was an F-22, BMS is a Cessna 152 by comparison. The Dynamic Campaign is really very cool, but you're talking about a platform that had one archaic map and one aircraft. Try pulling that off with 50+ high fidelity aircraft, dozens of different maps, with exceptionally high graphic standards, controllable ground vehicles, and wildly compl....oh, wait. ED is ACTUALLY trying to do just that! My only real criticism has been that they've spread themselves WAY TOO THIN! But I do not fault them for being ambitious. Have they blundered some 3rd party business? Yes, it is impossible to be a business for decades and not burn a bridge now and again. Can they reconcile those differences? Of course. At the end of the day, DCS is the only air combat simulator right now that is cutting/bleeding edge in my book. Period. Dot. Keep up the good work, team.
  15. Include a page on the kneeboard that lists airfield radio channels/frequencies (inc. ADF channels from mission editor)
  16. Would be better if the post was in the' MiG-29A Fulcrum' forum. There is a post there already. See Page 4 of this post
  17. is this causing the stutters in singleplayer as well? How do I know which backround processes I can turn off. can I permantely turn them off or do I have to turn them off every boot? yes usually when ?I game I try and remember to temporarily disable the AV..
  18. Отсутствуют шнуры устройства притяга ног
  19. I'm surprised none of the devs have made a comment on this thread. Welp, good to know I'm not alone.
  20. Anybody tried to load up these bombs on CFTs and singles on another pylon where you can actually set fuses, then click copy to all button? I am pretty sure that it worked for me before. Then you just unload/change the bombs from the station you have used to set up. CFT racks should remain with that setting.
  21. You are right. All i found was this image: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:Pont_de_Solferino_-_Les_Travaux_Publics_de_la_France.jpg Looks like every other Seine bridge from that time...
  22. А что на счет кнопки выпуска тормозного щитка? Она же вроде сдвижная, а не нажимная?nullnull UPD: Как оказалось можно и так и такnull
  23. In the end, the problem was likely that Stinkbug was too slow for it, though it's also possible funding concerns or even office politics also played a role. It would be interesting to hear just how advanced that idea was, for instance whether wiring for Sidewinder rails was ever installed in the bay. Actual tests likely never took place, but perhaps it could have had this capability added in short order if necessary.
  24. At true 90 degrees it's in the sidelobes of the 50-70 degree antennas even though it's in the mainlobe of the really low gain rear hemisphere antennas. Im not at all surprised the ranges are that low for detecting an MPRF waveform.
  25. The Locomotive and Mk1 coaches picture is from an old 2022 picture. Looks Very Nice but was probebly Early Click Bait to buy the Map . Maybe its baked into the map as theres no smoke . An Hideous bake Example is on the DCS Marianas WW2 Map - "The Huge narrow gauge Locomotive" A baked in Monstrosity that is even taller than the German Class 86 ! Better to Build your own ""Private Collection"" of Locos and rolling stock like i have You can Scenery Remove the baked in ones on mission start luckily its not rocket Science.
  26. I agree, 'F6 Released weapons view' has just little practical use. I suggest to use 'F6 Weapon to target view' <ctrl+F6> instead.
  27. Maybe they don't have any photographs of the original one? According to Wiki the original one was standing from 1861 to 1961. I'm not Parisien so I don't know what pictures to look for. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
