Ah, I assume you are a VR users? Then you are probably just running into the usual UI issue that some users have because of a DCS bug. Good news is that there is a fix for it 1. Go to your VR settings in DCS 2. Check "Use DCS System Resolution" 3. Select "Both Eyes" 4. Go to your Graphics settings in DCS 5. Select a resolution of 1920x1080 (or higher) 6. Restart DCS (mandatory) Should work now (This is also somewhere in our pinned FAQ here on the forum)

Hi ED team, I wanted to raise a concern that’s been growing steadily over the past few months. Since the release of the Spitfire and associated Battle of Britain assets, it feels like this incredible part of the sim has been left to gather dust. Three campaigns — while appreciated — simply aren’t enough. I’ve flown them dozens of times each, and frankly, I’m now bored. The aircraft and period assets are beautifully crafted, but without fresh missions, dynamic campaigns, or expanded historical scenarios, they’re not living up to their potential. It’s frustrating to see such iconic content sidelined while other modules continue to receive regular updates and new campaigns. Could we please see some renewed attention here? Whether it’s new single-player missions, multiplayer scenarios, or even a proper Battle of Britain dynamic campaign — anything to breathe life back into this era. The community is passionate about WWII aviation, and the Spitfire deserves more than being a hanger queen. Thanks for listening — hoping this sparks some movement. Best, James

У вас есть временная диаграмма сигнала бланкирования? Если можно доказать что она совпадает с частотой повторения РЛС то СПО должна работать как в ГС3, а засвет или выключение СПО своим радаром неисправность.

Hi there I am a very old, ex Royal Navy matelot, so be gentle please. I've clearly already had enough to last a lifetime I agree with the post saying start by looking for the manual, watch vids etc. What I do not know is what does 'Googling the -10 for the bird'. It is the '-10' that I do not understand from that phrase. Any help would be much appreciated. I have encountered this a couple of times recently, I use RECCE to "blank" the HMD, and no matter how often i press it again RECCE will not "unhide" the HMD

Yes it is definitely bound to Jester Ui Action(Short,Long), and regarding the screenshots I can't right now (I'm on my commute). P.S no other UI show up except for the manual but in a very small form like about the size of the engine master switches.

Ich habe seit November ein neuen PC und habe gleich Win11 installiert. Auf dem läuft auch DCS. Ich kann die ganzen Ressentiments gegen Win11 irgenwie nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Vieles läuft besser auf Win11 bzw. ist in sich konsistenter aufgebaut. Auf meinem 15 Jahre alten Laptop läuft noch Win10. Der lässt sich auch nicht mehr auf Win11 updaten. Evtl. installiere ich später mal Linux darauf, falls ich mal Lust verspüre neben DCS noch eine weitere Softwarebaustelle aufzumachen.

DCS' naming scheme is all over the place and it isn't only with aircraft. Yes, I imagine its a case of As getting lost and I did describe it as a minor issue - because that's exactly what it is. But to me, when something as basic and trivial as merely calling something what it actually is isn't achieved, my confidence kinda drops - short of licensing issues, it really isn't hard to call a spade a spade. And if something so utterly trivial to get right and fix (and I've even provided said fix) is going to be wrong, what else, maybe not so trivial, is going to be wrong? It's not the only example either.

Эта книга не убеждает разработчика. Потому что есть цитата с которой носится Flyout и показания пилотов. Поэтому идет поиск объяснений почему такие расхождения, и можно ли твердыми данными убедить ЕД не глушить радаром СПО. Или глушить но не так как сейчас.

Неплохо бы вообще составить справочник о том как каждая угроза в принципе меняет или не меняет излучение при захвате и пуске. Если ЗРК или истребитель пускает ракету и ведет сигналом захвата, или даже обзора, СПО просто нечего отловить. Сложность реализации состоит в том что в реале вариантов больше чем сейчас в DCS и куча нюансов. Огульно назначить "поколение" системы не выйдет, нужно ставить свойства каждому юниту отдельно.

В автоматической, просто раскидываются дополнительные угрозы из миссии которых нет в штатной программе по типам. Говорю вам как сейчас есть по факту, даже с автоматической программой. От современных ЗРК факта захвата СПО не фиксирует в игровой реализации.

Yes, all of the above. We all know that in a workplace, or in any social club, there are going to be people who grate on you. That's just life. Generally its the founders of the Cult Squad will set the tone for the experience that follows. I've been a member a few squads over the years and it was always a mixed bag. I'm not currently in any squad or doing any MP. Inevitably, the time comes when I'm no longer willing to tolerate certain nonsense: For example, there will always be the guy who interjects religion into every conversation; Or Politics. It's inevitable that I'll come to resent the "CO" who reminds me of Colonel Lard, or his XO, Barney Fife. I'm no longer willing to tolerate a RIO that giggles like Rosco P. Coltrane or have Frank Burns as my wingman; There will inevitably be the conspiracy theorist (such as Flouride, Elvis, Pandemic, etc), or the ideological nutcase. I kid you not, in one group I had to sit through a "moment of silence" for Manfred Von Richtofen, only to realize that I hadn't muted my microphone and they all heard me laughing my butt off at such ridiculous BS. This is a game, and I couldn't believe they were serious. I've encountered every type of meme warrior, troll, simpleton, knuckdragging, mouth-breathing fool that never matured past the 7th grade. I've sat through 2 hour long "Milsim" briefings that by the time it came around to actually flying I was already on my 6th beer, and to my amusement performed quite well. Oh, and I should add that racism was and is an immediate deal-breaker for me, but I've unfortunately seen far too many willing to go down that path. I've been told that I'm "too sensitive", but I don't think so. I don't miss any of this. So that's the downside. On the positive side, I have learned so much from others and become such a better virtual pilot than I could have managed all by myself. My very best times in flight sims and other games were in Multiplayer. I would join a squad in a heartbeat if I could find the right group of people. I doubt that's likely at this point, but I keep my eyes open for opportunities and an open mind. If someone is new to DCS, or any other complicated simulation, I would highly reccomend joining a squad. They show you the ropes. There is nothing quite as rewarding as flying with and against real people. If you are with the right group (or even a bunch of jerks who know what they're doing) you might be surprised at how skilled you can actually become. It's worth experiencing and if you reach the point where you don't like it any more, you can always tell them to FO and just quit.

В доке говорится о двух вариантах программы угроз - штатной и автоматической. Штатная делалась под исторические типы угроз и более-менее соответствует документации, т.е. реально не определит то, что в нее не заложено. Но автоматическая, которая по идее используется по-умолчанию, учитывает виды угроз из миссии, и должна реагировать не только на древние хок и С-75. Тут еще, конечно, стоит сопоставить с ограничениями, которые отдельно расписаны.
