I just tried this mission,and looks like their is a small fleet in that area(I my run I saw at least 4 ships in the area,and ships in that fleet are in loose formation,every ships are like few km away),with fog in that mission it's easy to miss the right ship........I almost missed it,when the "we got visual of u" message from frigate was triggered,I was flying passing a missile boat......but after circling around a bit more I eventually found the correct frigate with helipad... are u sure u didn't miss the right ship in the bad weather?

Except weather changes - on some days drastically, as the day progresses. This is not reflected by ED's weather as of yet.

Das sollte releativ gut gehen. Du kannst der Drohne im Menü vorgeben welche Ziele sie markieren soll. Welche Waffen dafür und wenn ich jetzt nicht komplett daneben liege sogar die Reihenfolge. Ich habe so etwas mal gebaut und es hat super bei 10 Zielen geklappt. Kann das gern nochmal nachschauen, wenn ich die Misison noch finde ist schon ein oder zwei Jährchen her

I think it's safe to say we wish for ED to deliver on their promises, and what's listed on the store page: The most realistic model of the F-16C imaginable, down to each bolt and flake of paint, animated controls surfaces, lights, damage model, and landing gear.

Thanks for confirming the issue. If you want to also confirm, that it's not specifically a two carrier issue, more specifically its an issue of the carrier not being in the #1 slot. As mentioned above, to test that was by placing an Arleigh Burke as the #1 ship and had the same issues. Too not again as well, this isn't a problem with the modern carriers or Super Carriers, which I had also tested with the Hornet and Tomcat (the only other two Navy birds I have). I have only had and was able to replicate the issue with the Essex.

Same, but I'm not sure how that'll work out with the login. Do you have any experience with that? Can you keep playing offline (I mean without account login) indefinitely?

Im still testing this. I dont use necksafer. Ive had no crashes with HL Alyx or DCS after totally removing all pimax software then putting the PC in safemode and deleting all the leftover pimax folders (I couldnt delete one because it said a file was still in use so thats why safemode) I installed 4.42.1 and made no changes everything stock settings in pimax and as much as possible in DCS. So far I have about 3 flights with about 3 hrs no issues at all with crashing. Ill try to make changes slowly over time and see if any problems pop back up.

yes, its totally true and I intend to save a full dcs install just to run the mirage 2000 and the harrier, even if I have to purchase a second ssd drive to keep it, and freeze it to never update. it can be kept for ever, but just note that whatever module or map is released after you freeze that dcs install, wont be available to run in that dcs. But I don’t mind, I intend to keep two dcs installs side by side just to be able to keep using my 3 remaining Razbam modules ( the F-15E was refunded a while back ).

Thank you, I will make a improvement request to the team. I am not sure what can be done yet, so can not make any promises. But I think we should consider reducing speed for external loads, I will ask the team if this is possible.

As a former owner of an RV-8, a home-built tail dragger approximately the same size and weight of an Eagle, I can tell you that the M3 Eagle is nowhere near accurate in the modeling of its ground handling and suffers from similar problems that their Corsair has.

The hole point of my OP was to make MiG and Su into Imperial measurements and your explanation about Iran, Russia and Chine IS MY POINT that it has nothing with realism but entirely necessity for the current user/pilot/army! P.S. Hovering over buttons is programming side of the model not related to cockpit textures

Given you have access to the older install of DCS, and as long as ED doesn't cease to support it (by means of granting online access/login), yes it is true. But there is no guarantee for how long it will work....

When I turn it on, it gives the same result: sometimes works, other times not. I'll record a track later today to better describe my issue. Am I the only one who has this problem with interrogating friendlies?

Be careful what you wish for. If they were to update the model and the textures, they would almost certainly encrypt them both. Which would make the Viper essentially inaccessible for community textures and liveries for the most part. Let's hope they never update it.

Hallo Leute, Ich würde gerne eine Drohne in eine Triggerzone fliegen lassen und mir von Ihr Automatisch die Ziele, Per Laser und Rauch Makieren lassen. Ohne extra selbstständig immer das Nächste Ziel abfragen zu müssen. Sie soll solange die ziele makieren bis Alle zerstört sind und dan Weiterfliegen. Falls jemand den 4 Ya Server kennt der weiss das die Ziele markiert werden bis allle zerstört sind dan hat man ja den Flughafen. So würde ich das gerne auch für meine Mission haben. Für eure Hilfe wäre ich sehr Dankbar.

I know this might be a stupid question. Isn't it true that you can use the module on an earlier version of DCS, when it still worked? I'm curious because I have a module from RB and I don't know how long I'll be able to enjoy it. Sorry for the off-topic.

Yes. I have the HF8. I find it about half as necessary as TrackIR/headtracking, which I know is a bold statement. I was living without it, but now that I have it, I don't want to give it up. I fly mostly fixed-wing aircraft, and now when I drop gear or deploy the speed brake, I know they are working. I have mine configured to give landing gear feedback through the seat bottom, G-force and stall through the back, and speed brake all over. For prop aircraft and helos, I have the vibration set to all of the seat's vibration points. I use HF8 in DCS and BMS, and in DCS, I use it on my helos. When you get into the helo transition phase, you'll get vibrations that don't exist for forward flight. So, it increases immersion when using the control inputs. I have no idea how realistic it is, but that's the experience it provides. For DCS, you can use their hardware and software directly, as well as for MSFS2020.
