There's an electrically driven pump that is supposed to provide some hydraulic pressure to the PC-1 side of the Stabilator in the event that hydraulic pressure drops below about 1000 psi. Even then, if you are in the air, it is likely the engines are windmilling and providing some hydraulic pressure through that avenue as well. And even then if there isn't any pressure at all, the flight controls are still connected mechanically.

That is a great idea! Endless possibilities for training missions especially the ones that involves maneuvers for bombing which is a bit difficult to grasp from just words.

In case of the DL-ed shots being that SARH/ARH, the ability to detect the launch depends on information how the DL corrections are transmitted. Provided that such information is available, and that RWR is sensitive in the required band, it would be feasible to detect launch being that ARH or SARH missile, not to mention CW illumination in case of AIM-7, which may help not loose the missile, but would certainly wake up any RWR with the right self respect.

не должна. Тут уже настрочили сотни страниц со спорами и доказательствами несоответствия с реальным прототипов. И представители ЕД гвоорили что при разработке FF-модуля эти замечания учтут. То есть PFM с аэродинамикой утюга - это тоже будет продвинутая PFM?)

This should be implemented FAR FAR FAR more often on order to help fill in the various gaps in available aircraft...
