  2. How 'good' is this mod with respect to the VSN F-4? Haven't really heard too much about what it's like but I'd love to give it a try at some point, just wanted to know what everyone else's experience is?
  3. Zuyev's account seems to indicate they did like the name Fulcrum and used it sometimes. Same as with Su-27, that one also got a cool name. "Bear" for the Tu-95 also quickly got traction once the crews found out about it.
  4. Why are you posting this here? Shouldn't you post it under the relevant module? Cheers!
  5. They did is because westerns would get confused by 9.12A
  6. к чему привыкать? Ты про доп.линзы эти на магнитиках?Очень комфортные,не нужно привыкать и так всё нормально,просто чёткость добавляется
  7. I'll check the sliders tomorrow, it's getting too late to launch dcs.
  8. Well, you might be right. It would be pretty cool though if there is a MiG-29 that could do one of those L/VNAV approaches coupled to the autopilot, with just a 430W, wouldn't it?
  9. I was under the impressions that the 430 comes with its own radio(s). So it allows to monitor more frequencies, which would be a neat feature even if it's not encrypted.
  10. Right, that's the one! [emoji1303] Have you toyed with the sliders? I don't remember what I sat them at, but they do make a difference. Gonna read your OP one more time. [emoji6] EDIT: Right, I remember now, but I don't remember how I fixed it. And it doesn't go the wrong way, right? That's why I asked about swapping the channels. I have to do that for every module. 11. I don't happen to be in DCS buying mode, despite the current sales. I have enough aircraft for now on backlog. I've been flying the Chinook and the Aviojet lately. I'm flying the Aviojet because I'm keeping myself current without killing too many braincells. I haven't bought the Mig-29, and maybe someday, but not today. But, I have to ask, is a single sentence in a product description really that big a deal? A lot of people are loving this aircraft clearly, and they couldn't care less about a minor mistake in a one page description for a new airplane. Most likely the new college grad they hired to write the description just made a simple mistake after looking at the website of the real-world analog.

  13. If you're talking about Module Individual Force Feedback toggle option in the gazelle's special options then I have it checked, without it the trim is VERY broken, having double input (1 from trim, second from stick position offset forced by trim)
  14. Yup! All the weapons in ARMA look identical, while called something else. And like I said, I don't understand why they don't see it as free advertising. If I made something cool, it would be dope to see it in a computer game.
  15. That's all true, but for a civilian airliner module ED could skirt around licensing issues by not using the brand and product names. The visual external appearance of a 737 is not something you will get dragged to court about. Maybe change a few details visually to be extra safe. I mean have a look at DCS: NS 430. Looks suspiciously similar to a GNS 430. I think this is a case in trademark law where courts have decided more clearheaded than people suspect...
  16. We might get lucky with a MKK/MK2 because it’s an export product. i would love both flankers though SM for radar and thrust vectoring. the mod team has one of five manuals MK2 for missiles and air to ground. Better documented jet and much more similar to the base flanker (it comes across more as a modernization then a different jet. —- we also have the pocket guide for the Yemeni SMT manual
  17. So, "F-35 Fat Amy" then? No, not really. Su-27 is called flanker sometimes though
  18. Look up the thread under the Input thread, and the Discord is very helpful if you need any. Cheers!
  19. @tekwoj Not what I wrote. I'm not talking about what trim setting you are using. (Instant is of course the correct one for FFB). There should be a some special settings for FFB under the Special Settings IIRC. Can't remember what it's called and my computer is dead, so I can't check for you. Sorry! Cheers! EDIT: Have you remembered to swap the axis under the FFB tune?
  20. I'll let the group know you are unable to join the discord server.

  22. Hi all, How do you find the height perception in DCS? I have a Facebook Q3 headset, and I really feel I don’t get enough sense of the altitude. It’s decades since I was last in the cockpit of something decent, and my eyes aren’t what they used to be, but I’ve always thought that you don’t get sufficient impression of altitude and the enormity of one’s surroundings in DCS. But, as said, I’m old so I figured it just could be that. However, just a few days ago I was passenger on a civilian flight in a place covered by DCS. It was scattered clouds as well and I knew that altitude. So, I thought id recreate what I saw out of the window in dcs. And now I’m certain that there’s something off in altitude perception or perspective in DCs. anyone else noticed this? And is there settings I can change to rectify this? (It would not ve surprising if I’m to blame…)
  23. Quaggles just enables you to add commands in Saved Games, and if one uses Munkwolf's keybinds, they are named differently and have their own category, so no. Even so. It's been acknowledged as a bug and will be corrected. Cheers!
  24. yes: instant is what I described, fade in/fade out is same but slow, so a jolt to trimmer press position then slow move to the release position none is same as instant (wtf?) central position just puts stick back in center after trimmer release. None of the modes move the trim position while trimmer button is depressed and stick is moved. The move happens when trimmer is released, if you're lucky it moves between signals sent to the base, if not then there's a strong jolt when the stick goes back to old center for a fraction of a second.
  25. Let's just look at "others" CIV/MIL simulators: - In civilian flight simulators, certain companies like Boeing are very protective of their products. - In a certain truck simulator... they used fictional truck models until they reached agreements with certain manufacturers (and now that they're moving into bus simulators, they'll probably do the same). - In military simulators, it's the same thing; certain companies demand royalties, just for using certain weapons brands. Imagine what could happen if a company comes along and issues a "cease and desist" order... only to make a 3D model.
  26. VAICOM huh... I'll have a loot at it at some point. Thanks.
  27. Setting a higher polling rate for the mouse causes stuttering. Logs attached, one with and one without. The effect seems to occur randomly. DxDiag.txt dcs no stutter.log dcs stutter.log
