  5. Thanks for the advice and replies, and for saving me from making a bad purchase. I agree that buying the 9900X would be pointless. But now I'm considering another processor: 7800X3D (4,2-5,0 GHz). Maybe that would be a better choice? Considering the price-to-performance ratio, it looks interesting.
  6. I first read the newsletter, I couldn’t believe it. So grateful, thank you ED. Can’t wait to see how immersive this all will be. So glad for the full fidelity zero, and very pleasantly surprised by the AI P38. Maybe flyable one day ?
  7. Review the actual C-47 AI, Missing many cargo capability, and with some valuable parachute launches. Deploy my info: C-47/R4D-5 Dakota Transport Man Rtng: 1.0/0.5 Damage Value: 22 Size: Medium Bombsight: None Throttle Setting/Speed in knots Altitude Rng Cruise Full Power Low: 140 200 Med: 140 200 Ceiling: 7070 m Engine Type: RP Cruise Range: 1320 nm Int Fuel: 2120 kg Additional Fuel Fuel Wt. Add. Range 100 USG aux tank 275 kg 170 nm Ordnance Loadouts: Payload: 4536 kg 9500 lbs cargo 6500 lbs cargo for long distances 21 passengers 28 paratroops 18 stretchers & medical team 6 parachute pack containers externally (I go open other post about them). Glider towing cleat 9 100 USG ferry tanks in cargo hold Remarks: In Svc: 1941 953 built. External mountings for two complete three-bladed propellers. The C-47A/R4D-5 (2099 built at Tulsa & 2832 at Long Beach) was nearly identical except for revised electrics; 962 of which were delivered to the RAF as Dakota IIIs. C-47B/R4D-6 Dakota Transport Man Rtng: 1.0/0.5 Damage Value: 23 Size: Medium Bombsight: None Throttle Setting/Speed in knots Altitude Cruise Full Power Low: 139 195 Med: 139 195 High: 139 195 Ceiling: 8045 m Engine Type: RP(S) Cruise Range: 1320 nm Int Fuel: 2074 kg Additional Fuel Fuel Wt. Add. Range 100 USG aux tank 275 kg 100 nm Ordnance Loadouts: Payload: 4536 kg 9500 lbs cargo 6500 lbs cargo for long distances 21 passengers 28 paratroops 18 stretchers & medical team 6 parachute pack containers externally Glider towing cleat 9 100 USG ferry tanks in cargo hold Remarks: In Svc: 1942 2808 built at Tulsa & 300 at Long Beach. Two-stage superchargers for better altitude performance. External mountings for two complete three-bladed propellers. 896 delivered to the RAF as Dakota IVs. These engines proved unsuccessful, and many of the aircraft were modified as C-47Ds by omitting the engine blower. XC-47C Dakota Transport Man Rtng: 0.5/0.5 Damage Value: 24 Size: Medium Bombsight: None Throttle Setting/Speed in knots Altitude Cruise Full Power Low: 105 168 Med: 105 162 Ceiling: 6000 m Engine Type: RP Cruise Range: 1820 nm Int Fuel: 3630 kg Ordnance Loadouts: Payload: 2890 kg 6500 lbs cargo 21 passengers 28 troops 18 stretchers & medical team Remarks: In Svc: 1943 Amphibian version of C-47. Fitted with a 300 USG aux tank inside each float. Very difficult to load & unload & extremely difficult to change tires. No production was undertaken, but Edo received a contract for 150 float sets and C-47Cs were reported to have seen limited sertvice in Alaska & New Guinea. Certain cargo options on the C-47 have not been implemented, such as paratroopers and parachute cargo drops. With the arrival of the CH-47F and C-130J, it is highly recommended that ED implement these loadouts within DCS World to improve the logistics role for the dynamic campaign and WW2.

  8. Actually, it's very neat idea. If both pedals could be halfway depressed as centre and work the way you want, they would pretty much resemble my Slaws Rotors.
  9. Bummer! I was really hoping we were getting somewhere. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  10. Excellent news and happy to see serious efforts to develop the WWII Pacific theater. Exited about the PTO, but also like to mentioned there is already an impressive content available created by very skilled mod developers from the community. It would be a quick win for all if ED would consider talking for instance to Hawkeye60 and incorporate his mods, like they did recently with Currenthill, etc. Showcased here by Devil505
  11. Same here, and I supported the developer by buying the Gazelle some years ago so I felt a bit cheated to not have a discount when the OH58 came out
  12. Yes, that’s it, always some polynomials which define trajectories to have maximal velocity when rocket reaching target and to be kinematically released when starting to chase target
  13. Thanks for your answers, I finally managed to pass mission #2 with any downed aircraft and after several attemps I continued to #3 (I enjoyned a lot) and #4. Before flying #4 I'm going to refly #2. I have no mods at all except for A-4.
  14. Now it is!
  15. I tried to compile a miz with realistic assets, showing map of airports parkings, area maps and an empty miz file with few assets as example…. grok doesn’t complete the job when the miz file is getting big… but can give you list and possible location of what you need to fill your miz manually. It can also give you realistic loadouts and write the mission.lua, but again not for 500/1000 units
  16. i managed to capture some packets from the winwing software with wireshark. Seems to be using the USB request block protocol but i dont for the life of me know what to do with the data
  17. Amazing!!! This sim is a dream. Thank you to the all people involved in this. Looking forward to all of this
  18. For DCS, I would pay that difference, since the 9800X3D seems to be far less stuttery:
  19. Sorry, no I am keeping as a full set.
  20. Thanks again. PCL arriving later today. I'm exited and aprehensive at the same time. Hoping it's all good.
  21. Yeah Kiowa at $70 dollars with neither a trial nor discount is why I haven't got it. If I tried it and liked it I may spend that, or if there is a window to get it cheap I may buy it "blind". I'm sure the point of sales a discount pre orders is to create a sense of missing out so you kinda feel compelled to buy. Not so with the Kiowa. As a someone who doesn't like the gazelle (no judgements) Kiowa is too much at the moment.
  22. I wouldn't trust GPT to run as the "brain" of my toaster. Really, all the techbro marketing bull. But to be a bit more constructive: there is no need for a huge datacenter to create decisions for the dynamic campaign in real-time, as interesting as it may sound. What DCS is needs is old-school AI, reasonably elaborate decision tree based on easily accessible data. And yes, that can account for what the various factions supposedly know or don't know quite easily.
  23. Hi, as soon as we are closer to releases we will share more information. thank you
  24. Flight Simming angels just blessed us with a FF Zero. Just omg! The P-38 AI is also massive news. A plan to make a FF out of the P-38 would be huge. For now, I'm enjoying the Zero A6M5 news. So many other potentially great FF modules too out of that AI list too.
  25. Can you perhaps upload a short track showcasing your issue?
