  2. Agreements like that do exist but with extremely specific triggers for when things get handed over. For instance a company I worked for provided a piece of software for day to day operations of a large client. If we went under or unilaterally withdrew from providing our services during however many years the contract ran for then they got access to the source code and their data for the bit of software they were using. If we had a mere contractual dispute they didn't get it. If they just wanted a look at it then they couldn't. And yes, you're right. I've been saying this for ages but even if they get hold of the source/IP for the modules it still requires ED to be able to allocate the time and resources to then work with, build and package it. And if they have to pay for it then that is additional cost on top of putting people onto working on it.
  3. I'm not buying any more maps until they finish the ones I already have. Sinai spent more than a year without a single update since the date it was launched, lacking basic stuff like bullseyes, correct radio frequencies and bridges. Fool me once, fool me twice and all that.
  4. That's probably a fair analogy. Problem is I don't know which devs started their relationship with ED when so I can't give an answer to that, but it would not cover many of the third-party modules we have now, an extremely quick count leads me to a complete guesstimate of seven. I could be totally wrong and it might be the majority released since 2018. We just don't know.
  5. I use VoiceAttack for pressing the spacebar. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  6. You don't need tankers exact altitude, you just need its altitude to find it easier, cause you would need to know which altimeter setting the tanker is using etc, the led lights on the right side are indicating if you are ahead or behind the correct position and those left side led lights are indicating if you are too low or too high. Page 154 in the F-16C manual explains this.
  7. Это было не видео, а пользовательская кампания ми24 dawn of war in Afghanistan или как-то так. Там вначале текстовые подсказки идут что включать надо. И по ним я и шёл. Но без пояснений (
  8. Excellent! [emoji1303] @BIGNEWY @NineLine it seems this bug has resurfaced. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  9. The PTO2 comes with the two mounting brackets, your going to need four T-Slot nuts in M5 and four M5 x 45 screws. Two on each side of tour 4080 extrusion. I would suggest downloading the manual from WinWing for the PTO2. And looking at MTSIM for their T-slot nuts. You can probably get them faster off Amazon. The M5 cap nut screws you can find at any hardware store. Look for 4080 extrusion hardware on Amazon. But definitely go look at the manual for the PTO2. And MTSIM s manual assembly of the MIP to 4080 desk mount.
  10. Just installed the latest DCS update. There was nothing mentioned in the patch notes, but looks like many navaids have been corrected with names and so on. Okay, Damgarten still has 820 MHz wrong frequency, but that's an easy fix on my end for the time being. Thanks Ugra.
  11. East Afganistan expansion was launched on late February 2025, 6 months ago, no 8. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/changelog/release/2.9.13.6818/
  12. Hi I just ordered myself the Monstertech mount for the Super Taurus. I would like to attach the PTO2 to the vertical part of the mount which essentially seems to be a 4080 aluminum profile. Does anyone know, what kind of screws fit through the PTO parts? Is it M5 or M6? Or something completely different? I want to know because I want to order the nuts that go into the rail online somewhere.
  13. @YoYo I agree with @Silver_Dragon I think ORBX will go south and make a Baltics map, and OnReTech is for sure making a Balkans map. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  14. What about first person pilot body and of other crew? Will there be new explosion effect for the MOAB? Very promising module. Looking forward to it
  15. One freshly built monster kitbase ready to ship
  16. I think it's too early for ED to tell us about new maps, especially with the final Afghanistan expansion and two Iraq expansions still to come. Perhaps we can say that the only map we could expect an announcement on is the next WW2 map, with the release of Marianas WW2, and something tells me that will be a Channel 2.0 map, given the Battle of Britain (Nick Grey's plans for Bob's modules after the F6F Hellcat and WW2 PTO are just around the corner). What modules is ED possibly working on right now? Very possibly (I'd have to check Wags' statements). The only ones are rumors from ORBX, something tells me it's the Baltic map south of the Kola, and the "teaser" for the Balkans map by OnReTech. And of Course the missing 2 expansions of Cold War Germany by UgraMedia. The North Australia map was banised by the 3rd party close.
  17. Alammo should home in on target reflections only in terminal phase of flight - 80% (I assime this is for max range). Rest of the way it's following M-link.
  18. Today
  19. @OnReTech company has a discord?
  20. Sorry for the late reply ive been working away. Theres some very good ideas and help here, i will have a go and keep you all updated. Issue i also have is when the tanker says hes at X speed and X height, how do you what height to be at when below the tanker? Do the LEDs under rhw tanker indicate this or are they just forward and back and left and right?
  21. Great documentary about Nato, very current and worth the watch:
  22. Varjo aero, GPU 4090, Intel, Win 11- This is a recent problem-I think before the most recent update it wasn't happening but can't be sure. So generally I can boot up computer, and start DCS-then from the Startup menu I can Launch DCS-in VR mode. But after (generally) playing and exiting (sometimes it works twice) when I start up DCS again it will only launch into pancake (non-VR) mode. I have reinstalled the Varjo base, and repaired DCS files, updated nvida drivers, disabled other programs etc. Can anyone think what could be happening? What could change between first launch (which works) and the subsequent launches (that don't)? ANY ideas are appreciated.
  23. Looking forward to the release date. I just purchased it. I know it will be a great airplane.
  24. Finishing the final touches for my soon-to-be-released skin pack: Corsairs of Fighting 17 - November 1943
  25. Does it skip under high G turns? As for CD players, Sony launched the first one back in 1982. The first Discman was in 1984
