  1. Past hour
  2. Huey was left w/o gps support despite the numerous request and here we go..
  3. Давно не было новостей про динамическую кампанию. Когда планируете порадовать?
  4. AI F-4E goes stupid. They go into an orbit at low speed and altitude, until they run out of fuel and crash. Happens after extended engagements involving both MiGs and SA-2s, where they spend a lot of time in full burner. Could be Bingo Fuel related, maybe that it occurs during engagement. This is a great F-4B track. (F-4E w/ AIM-7E/-9B, sans 20mm ammo) F-4E Goes Stupid.trk Excellent performance, until after the last Enfield 01 kill, at the 28:15 mark. Then, all remaining F-4E's go stupid. EDIT: Apparently can't, b/c the POS Track function tracked the lead MiG, instead of the F-4E. Bowie
  5. OK I'm happy with this Carrier landing. Closed cowl will kill the engine so just a crack open will keep temp in the middle blue. Oil at about half open flap, is mid blue temp. Closed will kill engine. Mixture rich. Fuel tank on resreve. Tail wheel unlocked. RPM 2500, MP 28. Carrier 15 kt. Wind 20 kt. Air start. ,, F4U carrier U land .trk
  6. I hope ED will continue with GNS430 3d model implementation in all other cocpits... I need help from someone to make this possible trough Saved Games Mods folder using only LUAs, redirecting placement and from where to load model... This is all base core things, no custom models and textures. I would like to make same for Huey, Hind and some other aircrafts.

  8. look at the Fuel Pressure gauge, the last patch modified it to show water pressure instead. It should show a positive value when its working:
  9. Ok, I hear the exact same thing. The JFS (Jet fuel starter) spooling down? I must have overlooked that earlier when you posted it. Well I’ll be dern, sounds just like the turbo on my truck spooling down when I let off the accelerator.
  10. FYi performance depends on a thousand factors. Your rig, your drivers, windows settings, softwares running, the optimization of DCS, the optimization of the module you fly, your display device, just to name a few. such campaign missions will always be more resource heavy (populated) than, say a multiplayer mission or a free flight, but it’s pretty low on the list of what causes bad performance. check out my optimization guides on my youtube channel maybe there are a few low hanging fruits.

  12. One option can be as well with the square/indicator completely transparent for 1G and it increases in opacity with more Gs pulled. Customization potential for this could be endless if the player had the parameters of tolerance for it to chose.
  13. You are correct, didn't think of that .. on my mission I intend to use X:COCKPIT triggers to inspects these parameters that the Module offers: Eduardo
  14. The fuel pressure gauge on the bottom of the right side instrument cluster has been changed to indicate water pressure. When ADI is on the needle should pop up. But that's the problem, because there's been times I've been at full throttle and ADI never kicks in even when the master switch is on.
  15. Thx GT. You'll also note above that there was an only 2 knots diff between auto lean and auto rich with all else being equal in my speed runs. I think the overarching point is that M3 is in the ballpark, same as what you found with your great F4U Corsair Real-Time Engine Diagnostics Data script, which folks can find here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3346516/ One easy way to know is that when you start hearing the roller coaster clickety clack sound due to high MAP induced engine knock, engaging the water injection will stop the knocking within a few seconds.
  16. I don't need it but it would be nice to have it for those who wants it through one of the levels at the RCtrl + Enter overlays. The system is already there. That's not really accurate. With experience in DCS you can "feel" through muscle memory even without a FFB stick. But you need a lot of practice to do so (lots of hours). Not impossible. Artificial indications like cockpit shakes helps on top of that, as mentioned. This is a fantastic idea. Color shifting wise to convey G value: a square somewhere discretely on screen filled with a color could be of great value indeed. The color can shift along the RBG spectrum and I'd think a color wheel orientation between colors could fit: Green for 1G Shifting to blue for negative Gs, up to magenta for extreme negative Gs. Green shifting through yellow to pure red for Gs above 9 or 10. Of course, for being a linear color scale, magenta won't be able to shift into red and vice versa. ...or the inverse color orientation if ones want to refer to blood stopping from going to the brain. (toggle able)
  17. Thank you for the update and especially the video with Wags on the MIG29
  18. You misunderstand the meaning of “building more planes than they could use”. That does not mean that brand new planes were parked outside the production line with no one to fly them. It means that they were producing planes faster than “producing” new pilots. They were not producing enough new models in order to retire the older 109G and 190A/F/G from service - these were still the majority of the fighters force by VE day.
  19. Awesome, thank you for sharing. This is a great tool for DCS, would love to try it if I had a MCDU.
  20. I got a tracking number from UPS. Its not active yet but I should have it in 5 days or less. Here's to hoping this is a better outcome than the VR1 I guess I'll know soon
  21. Would it be possible to modify the current Info Bar to have the option to just show the current Gs? Just that, make the rest transparent or cut it, and leave the G number at the same place. That would work nicely in VR to have an easily seen indication of current Gs. I don't see this as a cheat, since IRL you can actually feel Gs, and modern jets also display it on the HUD, but an experienced pilot can easily judge the Gs he is pulling and adjust accordingly; however this is obviously impossible in a sim without a admittedly artificial indication. And yes I know there is a G-meter in most planes, but they are usually located in a difficult to see location and are really meant to show how many Gs you pulled, not as a real time gauge to watch. Perhaps just a modded .lua since I don't really care about the rest of the data on the Info bar (if that is even possible?). Gucci points if it was color coded (red for over-g, yellow for negative Gs, etc) and dynamic (would only appear above or below a certain g-level, such as +2.5 and -0.5), as well as positionable and scalable. Cheers, Vulture

    Skin thread

I'd really love to see the Indian Air Force skin mentioned here
  23. Even the first photo of a Ukrainian 9.13 shows an R-27ER, from what I can tell.
  24. I’m running it with a 3070 in vr with no stutters.
  25. Today
  26. similar setup, also use L/R buttons for differential brakes - once i unbound the parking brake control from any input, differential braking was more manageable
