Hi everyone, I've purchased very recently a Pico 4 and I'm trying to set it up, although I'm a tech guy, I never had VR before so I'm out here for help and couple advises. After tweaking a lot I managed to have 72fps stable. This is what I've done so far: VD in Pico installed and running on 72 fps frame rate, 72 video frame rate, 120 mbps video bit rate, Ultra settings. VD on pc with HEVC, VDXR, Encrypting local traffic for that stupid BSOD (I'm using a 3.2 USB-C cable with the tethering trick) OpenXR toolkit installed but nothing really tweaked there. So as a matter of fact, no matter what I'll do, everything feels blurry in the cockpit and everywhere around, especially in cockpit, like numbers indications, lights etc. It feels like everything is zoomed and blurred at the same time. I get it that it might has to be that I'm running the whole thing in low settings to have these 72fps stable, but I've seen other people on Yt videos having their picture seem crystal clean. So i'm not sure what I'm missing here. On the other hand maybe I'm not missing something as this might be the drawback of using VR... I'll post my specs and screenshots of my settings rn in DCS. If you have any sort of suggestion to make it look nicer and more practical for PvP servers I would really appreciate your help. null PC SPECS: I7-13700k 32GB RAM RX9070XT SSD (with only DCS in)

Don't use Auto, Use P (150km scale) for situation awareness then switch to Dogon, this is what (Boro Zoraja actually did). For a kick try to make the transition too early (e.g. around 50km) and the RL will start fleshing and drop lock after 2-3 seconds, but if you wait a bit longer it will not loose it.

It did at some point and I can see the button animation in the cockpit but the brake refuses to come out. Is there anything that inhibits the use of the speedbrake, that I‘m not aware of?

I want the Dream Air too but the extra 1k seems a bit steep. I'm not in a rush so I'll see how things look in Jan 26.

Regular one, not extended range (when did the extended range become avaliable?) I had a M2000 locked up. I was not very high or very fast(a bit under M.1, and around 20k feet. So I could only launch at around 12nm. I fired at around 10. The M2000 started to turn and i followed it. And my R27 gave up pretty quickly. And so far, that's my only radar launch I have. What's your longer lock on and hit with the R27?

This is noted as a known issue in the patch notes. When repairing after a wheels up landing, the repair completes, but the landing gear is not lowered, so after repair you are dropped back on your belly, negating the repair.

Accept my poor landing technique causes landing gear failure, but why does the landing gear fail again after it has been repaired and the aircraft is 'dropped' by DCS software on the apron? Shouldn't it be robust enough not to break during the repair process???

Has rumors about OnReTech has building a Balkans / Italy map.

Probably I misunderstood the QFE and QNH , the gauge in the circle is used to set the QNH right ( in this mission by default id 29,90 if remember correctely)? About the temp really don't know the value, need to check if is present ( surely not in the mission briefing PDF) Also sorry for my ignorance, which is the transition altitude? Thanks

Hey guys, is my perception wrong that there is basically no content for the map? There are plenty of campaigns for Persian Gulf and Syria and so on, but there is nothing for Germany. Is anything in the pipeline the community is aware of?

Thanks to Discord user fivedollarcrayons I was able to remove a long lasting issue on page 181, which showed the wrong combination of colors and coordinates for data input in REF/LOLA for Batumi airfield. I corrected my mistake, and the manual now reads: The repair will be pushed with the next Viggen update and most probably much earlier on www.viggen.training, together with some more changes that have been done already. I did this. I rebooted my computer, logged into the server, and created a route using the DCS F-10 functions. After that, I chose a plane, inserted the cartridge without using the Kneeboard, then dialed 9099 and the route appeared. Only all the WP became "M". My plane in the screenshot is in Spangdalem. And no route in Kneeboard.

I would like it if first detent could also be made a “toggle.” A lot of us don’t have tons of switches or dual detent triggers

Literally every person I know has problems with AFCS, including me. And instead of always asking for a track, QA should be adhoc testing it like a natural user. Do multiple flights, land, shut down engines, repair, then try to turn afcs back on... it doesnt work.

Today I had the same errors in multiplayer 4 times in a row. A crash on the desktop occurs after you press CTRL+SHIFT+C or CTRL+ALT+C in kneeboard. Map of Germany. I tried to create a route through the DCS F-10 utility, but there is no departure airfield. They just cost 0000.

Well, there is also no memory mode currently implemented.

You should land closer to 300 kmh pre flare. That’s how real pilots do it.
