Interesting to see the ACMI pod on the outboard wing station on a CR. The one on the tip station is a Magic training store, which would also be a nice touch.

UH-1H IR Suppressor & Hard points using Rearm/Refuel menu
MAXsenna replied to SerpentSouris26's topic in DCS Core Wish List
You can do that with the IR suppressor, can't you? Maybe I'm confusing with another heli. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk -
Right now, no such plans. We'll try to add pylons for fuel tanks to the RF-101B Voodoo and then there are a bunch of other assets to rig...

This got me all excited but I haven't found anything about DCS Mirage III. I guess Silver Dragon meant it would "have to be produced" by another dev instead. Not sure. There is a Kifr in works though. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/newsletters/e5304ac36d8e13559984a6759d5c9908/

I too have noticed trying to do the countermeasures programming in the jet is a mess. Nothing I set in the manual 1 slot saves, the game just releases the default setting regardless. Used to work as it should until one of the recent updates. -
Honeycomb Charlie vs Thrustmaster TPR
scommander2 replied to Qcumber's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Yup! It is a big advantage to purchase from Amazon -
Check out their section in the forums they're currently shooting for the October update and are confident in it, any push to November would be due to reasons beyond their control. Someone (their CEO) said October is the goal, November worst case.

Does DCS benefit bigly from OLED?

The only good reason to not play on an OLED monitor is if you already have OLED VR -
Honeycomb Charlie vs Thrustmaster TPR
Qcumber replied to Qcumber's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thanks. I've had a look at reviews and the Charlie is very heavy. About 1kg heavier than the TPR. It is also quite big (45cm x 45cm) and has carpet grips so good for keeping in place without a frame. As it's from Amazon I might try the Charlie and if it's not for me get the TPR instead. -

I'm a long time F4/BMS player, so the mission planning aspect isn't new (and something sorely needed in dcs). -
Yeah, but I read in another community, thatshallnotbenamed, that the post was posted more than a year ago in the RB Discord. So I'm not sure it's valid anymore. I really do hope it's valid, but like @Dragon1-1 says, I believe it when I see it. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Could you share a track or something? It works just fine on my end and also for other players it seems.

I wonder about the C-130! My daughter is ready to be my co-pilot! Or is it still a ways out?

I'm doing everything correctly. I know how to drop lgb's in the F4 I made it a lot of times but currently it's impossible to launch lgb's. After I press full action everything goes as it is but after closing the target "Laser Indicator" begins to flash as it is not activated. I tried everything but I think it is some kind of a bug maybe?

IMHO: TPR is a very solid build, heavy and big, and I have it for few years without an issue. Yes, it is costly. By reviewing Honeycomb Charlie website, I am kind like it, and it is very compact. The handle for the surface of floor has more options than TPR. -

Thanks again for all your support. Indeed the problem is a little mod which I use for formation flying. If this mod is enabled, the controls lose their function as soon as I get airborne. Thanks to all and Kind regards Achim -

I'd say it depends on how you like the design and the "function" of the pedals. Have a look at images, and then pay attention to the design of how they work differently. I'm sure you'd be happy with the Charlies while I do know there exists 3rd party damper kits and force feedback kits for the TMs you might want in tbe future. I can highly recommend dampers on pedals from the get go. I'm not sure that's possible with the Charlies. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk -
