  1. Past hour
  2. Vielleicht war das einfach schon die Antwort, die ich gebraucht habe...
  3. Good Afternoon. Tubii ?, What do you mean set the column in controls to default. I just got my eye tracker, DCS shows headtracker in the controls page. Do u mean delete that column. thanks

  4. Maybe mod conflict or corrupted files. Delete all mods (if you have any) and run a repair/file verification.
  5. ah, that looks great! how much ply did you end up using? i've used mumbles files and taken the measurements from that best i could. it was time consuming! How did you convert the sketchup files into something that could be used by a laser/cnc cutter and was it expensive to do? sorry loads of questions!!
  6. A little late to the party on this thread… I agree that the F-1 is very sensitive directionally on the landing roll out. However, I view this behavior as a very good simulation of what you would expect with tall, narrow track-width gear that are mounted so closely to the longitudinal axis of the fuselage. Essentially, the airframe can rotate around its long axis much easier than it could on gear mounted further outboard, or on the wings. And when you add the fact that trailing link landing gear often allow for a longer suspension stroke, it ends up in keeling around turns like a 1970s Buick Station wagon without sway bars. The F-16 has similarly mounted gear, very close to the long-axis of the fuselage. But the suspension design has a much shorter stroke (and is firmer) compared to the softly sprung trailing link arrangement of the F-1. A firm, short stroke limits how deeply the F-16 leans when turning at speed, making it more stable on roll out. It will still flip over, but it doesn’t lean as much before doing so. The F-18 also has fuselage mounted gear, and a trailing link arrangement with a very long suspension stroke. However, it probably feels way more stable on roll-out because the gear are mounted further away from the longitudinal axis, and the airplane is seems relatively lower to the ground with full weight on wheels. These both contribute to making the plane more stable, because it can’t roll about the longitudal axis as easily when experiencing side-loads. Basically, this behavior is what makes DCS awesome. It shows you can model the unique behaviors expected for different types of landing gear designs/arrangements. From my point of view, this is definitely a not a bug, it’s a feature (it’s not to say I can judge the minute details of the modeling, because nobody has lent me their F-1 to fly around. But the general behavior tracks with what you’d expect for its configuration). (Sorry, pun lol).
  7. What happend to your KDU? Crazy to see all the progress. Is this project still ongoing? In regards of the KDU PCB, I created one which is in principle working, I just had a wrong layout cell which caused me to solder some stuff :/. Maybe this is still ongoing. Because currently I am looking for a software solution of my KDU.
  8. Hi all, Suddenly DCS wont start. Problem: I click on play and login into the DCS launcher. After that the steam verification is okay and the loading screen just hangs and DCS wont start. What did i do so far: I uninstalled DCS completely and also deleted the saved game folder and another folder in appdata\local (or roaming). Reinstalled DCS, restarted my pc but same problem. Reinstalled Directx, X86 and X64 redist files, same problem. Reset my Bitdefender exception for the DCS drive: same problem. Im out of sollutions. Windows 11 64 bit - I7 13700 K - 2x32GB Corsair 6000 - AMD Asus TUF 9070XT .
  9. It's because you are using quaggle mod I think.
  10. Ich versteh den Schmerz aber ich bin auf die kurze Antwort gespannt.
  11. Great help no doubt - "Spend few thousand on a hardware so you can buy more modules If it was suitable 'for gaming' I wouldn't buy anything from ED store, in matter of fact I wouldn't complain here AT ALL! ...don't require bigger resolutions... The moment I require to upgrade that machine for games I'm selling the account for ED! So yeah is not your money. Cheers! Somehow you are strange. Dont drink too much, it doesnt seem to be good for you.
  13. Seems this probably relates to ther other threads recently in this subforum about the R27. That's a lot of desync @BIGNEWY
  14. HI Community!
  15. If you have GPU scheduling turned on, Turn it off... It was causing me the same issues & once I turned it off it's been fine.
  16. Well my two cents. I have played MP with friends but strictly PvE. I don’t like flying with like minded people but PvP I never liked. I don’t have the time for committing to a squadron. I have searched the available squadrons but the more serious groups force you into playing one module and I want to switch around. That means I never excel in any one module. In public MP (which I dabbled in) means I take off try to figure out what is going on and then eat a missile. Get’s old fast and I do not have the will to free up the time to learn. That said a game like DCS isn’t just about simulating planes or heli’s for me but also the air and ground war. SP can give me that (to some limited degree) and a server with strangers never will. The remarks ‘we want full real sim you noob’ and then take off by gunning the engine across the airfield, taxi way, with the wind at there backs etc. It puts me off in an unbelievable way. So I don’t see MP giving me ever what I seek in DCS but I am really craving for the dynamic campaign! Long live Retribution!
  17. I can get to the point of light skids, torque pedals balanced. From there it should be a gentle collective lift into the hover, according to the demo videos... Instead I usually either end up with left stick to counter a right roll and start bouncing along the ground, or I start sliding left or backwards even with full forward stick. I'll have a bash at making some .trk files over the next few days. I'm only messing about in the training missions so far - Do those record too, or do I need to hop on a server somewhere? I'm also thinking I need a proper collective. The WinWing throttle is awesome, but I often find myself pulling to lift collective, instead of pushing the levers... which is weird, as I don't have any muscle memory for a collective!! Every flight is a confusing disaster, yet somehow still so much fun!
  18. Hi, Shmal. It can be windows Defender or your anti virus messing with an activator DLL. Do the following: Make an Exclusion on the whole DCS root folder on your anti virus, including windows defender. Do a repair. Usual path for files and folder exclusion management (windows 11 in English): Search for "windows security" in the search bar Virus & Threat Protection At 'Virus & Threat Protection Settings', click on 'manage settings' Bottom of the page click on 'add or remove exclusions' Add the whole DCS root Folder. It this doesn't fix it, remembering that you need to do a repair after making the exclusion in order to recover the activation file back up, undo the exclusion.
  19. Today
  20. Писали, писали. И пальчики устали.
  21. Hi if this helps I have a Thrustmaster T16000, no pedals. Here is a map of my primary keybinds on the stick and throttle. Kind of home made but it works. It'll give you an idea of the important ones. Hope if I'm not too late - that it helps. Haven't flown it in a while. null
  22. Hopefully you read the changelog and not just spreading misinformation...
  23. Just saw that as well lol. I ddin't check all the parking spots, but number 46 has trees like that
  24. Understanding what a helicopter does and why it does it is the best start. Learning the Gaz is a blast, I think it's one of the most fun helos to fly. For lifting, start by repping having the helo still, and slowly increasing the collective until it starts to move. This is important, the rotation of the rotors torque you left heavily, so you then counter the rotation with the pedals, (anti torque). Rep that over and over again, get the muscle memory of when she wants to spin and how much pressure to apply to the pedal. Drop collective and balance pedals, rep that until you know when and how to equally apply pedal and collective so it doesn't spin. From here, begin to get it in the air doing the same process. Eventually you'll learn with some forward momentum, nosing down ever so slightly when to release the pedals to maintain the heading. Now this process is exactly the same in reverse, so for landing, remember that same transition getting up and into forward flight and leaving ground effect, only you now do it while returning to the ground through ground effect. Hoping this is making sense to you. You'll get faster and faster and faster with this. Thats the basic of getting off the ground, and back on it. Next learning forward momentum with ETL (effective translation lift) can be helpful, and so on and so forth. Take you time, no rush. I recommend a MP server called angels of levant. It's a non combative SAR server, it rotates between Syria and Caucasus on restarts like every few hours. Basically you fly around and pick up single patients and return them to hospitals. Syria is best for forcing you to learn to land and takeoff it areas you don't get to choose, confined spaced, hover pickups etc. I still to this day go on there and rep for hours getting in and out faster and faster and faster with each rotary airframe. Eventually it becomes natural. Also, if you have VR, or can stomach and afford it and your PC can run it well. It's basically a cheat code for helos, full depth perception and can get the sense of vertical reference.
  25. Sadly I mainly read this : "Serves as both a communications radio, navigation radio, and GPS receiver" I think the least ED can do is revise the descriptions so as not to (unintentionally) mislead buyers, the real NS430 is that yes.
  26. Does not work for me either. (Dedicated server) @BIGNEWY
