  1. Past hour
  2. Think of it like that:
  3. This is happening to me as well, in a newly updated 2.9.20, but only in the Persian Gulf map (and probably in other maps too - I haven't checked any other map yet). I've tried checking in both Client and Player settings. In the Caucasus map, it works fine though.
  4. Транспортники не очень популярны в DCS, погляди на эту тему, в СНГ – никто вообще не летает на чинуке, похоже
  5. I think the key here is they said "Several negative drag errors in logs - fixed". They didn't claim to fix them all. What you're seeing is "normal" (at least in the sense that it's in virtually every log).
  6. Right! Then I saw it somewhere else. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  7. Attaching a track file from a session where this is occurring (short as possible, preferably on the Caucus map) or a copy of the mission will help the devs figuring out the problem. There are way too many variables that may influence things and mess with trying to reproduce this from scratch. You can save a track file from the debrief screen when you finish the mission.
  8. I mean thats probably the case, but it should work with the radar on at least in the MPRF/pursuit mode.
  9. Yes, we do: say the flip up trigger activates button 5 in the DCS bindings. That way “gun safety trigger up” is ‘Button 5’ and “gun safety down” is ‘Button 5_OFF’. This works just fine, as described above. But you don’t actually need 3 bindings, just 2: “gun safety up” is called “gun first detent” in the control bindings.
  10. No worries, much of the MiG-29 is coming from the non-English side of the team, including the manual, so some of it is a little rough right now.
  11. I actually read through the whole changelog usually but could have missed, but I went back and checked and it's not mentioned in F-18 or general sections at all.
  12. I’m not sure how it works with VKB, but with my Virpil grip, I bind “gun first detent” to ‘flip trigger up’ and “gun second detent” to the first detent of my actual trigger. It works flawlessly: flipping up the trigger activates gun mode and makes the two-stage trigger available for use (it is no longer blocked by the flip up trigger). Flipping the trigger down deselects gun mode and returns to inboard/outboard whichever was in use. There is an alternative that also works. Simply use the flip up trigger in the up position as default, bind trigger down to “gun first detent” and pull flip up trigger to “gun second detent”. This also frees the use of the dual stage trigger for something else… Either way works, but the former is more intuitive to use in my opinion, since I often use the flip up trigger as master arm switch in other modules.
  13. Yeah, it sounds to me like you are not trimming enough yet and let go the trim hat after you saw your stick in the cockpit moving around a lot already. The explanation in the FAQ is correct and that is why your stick will, on the ground, immediately bump into the limit after just touching the trim hat. That is correct behavior. In the F4, trimming does not move the stick directly. It changes the arm length of the lever used by the bellows to pull the stick aft with increasing speed. As opposing force to the bobweights who try to push the stick forward with increasing G. You know, imagine two children fighting over a toy. One left, one right. And both pull on the toy in their direction at the same time. If they both pull with the same strength, the toy doesnt move and no one gets it. The force is balanced out. Trimming in the F4 changes the strength of one of the two children, making them stronger or weaker, shifting the balance. And bc one kid pulls stronger with increasing airspeed, while the other kid pulls stronger with increasing G, you will get a highly dynamic experience in practice. And at ground, where you have nearly 0 airspeed, one of the two forces is almost disabled, so the other force dominates the play. As soon as you start your takeoff and gain speed, the other force will rise and start to move your stick naturally.
  14. Not sure it's really about the size but rather than the fact that you have 4 very powerful engines all turning the same direction. You get the same effect on the Mosquito which is definitely a much smaller beast (and wood construction ). Seems crazy, but makes sense for manufacturing/maintenance to have 4 identical engines rather than 2 and 2, even though that would be easier to fly. Talking to a squad mate who flys IRL and apparently most multi-engine aircraft are this way (all same direction).
  15. The US AWACS services were generally up to snuff. Other nations could be more... variable. Like with that story with the Brits, or how one South Korean AWACS guy seemed like he didn't know what "Judy" meant (their pilots apparently require talk-on right up until the merge), to great annoyance of the USAF F-15 driver who had to listen to his prattle, despite long having the bandit acquired on his own radar.
  16. Check your loadout (ammo count) and switch settings.
  17. It worked well enough in Vietnam, of course it still was not a perfect system, and while the pilots did have to obey orders say to wave off, once they were in the thick of it it was pretty much up to them.
  18. They did mention it in the changelog, didn't they? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  19. Sry i reviewed your tacview and i don't see any issue. The missile is tracking because the Su27 is way inside his 60°gimbal limit. He's guiding his missile, no reasons to think it shouldn't track.

  21. Hi The weapons doesn't working in missions Wolfpack. When I press the "space" button , the machine guns should fire, but it doesn`t. However, in regular missions outside of the campaign, everything works fine. DCS version 2.9.20
  22. In a real aircraft, there's no need to hold the trigger down. Simply flip it over and, when ready, press it to fire. Therefore, the input settings should have three commands: fold, unfold, and fire. On the VKB joystick, for example, in the KA-50 and Mirage F1 modules, this combination works perfectly with the folding trigger. Why the developers decided to only have two commands seems odd to me. It's unrealistic, simplifies a highly detailed module, and still prevents the VKB joystick from realizing trigger control.
