  1. Past hour
  3. @sleighzy all other sources that I read recommended to run it as admin ....
  4. Hello, failures one of the most realistic things that you can model. Sadly F16CM block 50 does not have any. Is it hard to model them? And another one: failures in Multiplayer i think there was failure option for "Client" planes in MissionEditor. Would be nice if there was failures for MulitPlayer. You know Mission where one of wing dont have ASI second HSI third have broken MFD etc. Thank you PhantomDCS
  5. Sure, if this Topic ist closed and people like you dont continue to insult other people.
  6. It depends on which hardware you use: for me in practice it already acts as just like it does in the real aircraft, but with just requiring 1 keybind instead of 2. It's just that the wording is misleading. And yes it’s fairly annoying to always have to flip the trigger back up every time the radar loses lock (which is quite often but that’s another topic entirely).
  7. Cheers yourself Maybe you can shut up already?
  8. Cheers Maybe the Moderators can close this Topic now.
  9. Not sure I think the Switch is purely mechanical. Just allows you to force selection which would be needed if returning to am unplanned airfield.
  10. Yes, DCS skid physics are weird: push 1 side of the pedals to full deflection and the helicopter will easily do a 360 on the ground, without needing to be light-on-skids even (collective fully lowered). It’s one of the things I had wished to see fixed when ED announced their “year of the helicopter” a good while ago…
  11. The only reason I call it like that is video game from 90s. Fulcrum/flanker is not uses in my language, not sure about ex-soviets. 21 was certainly not fishbad.
  12. Small stutters in Single Player, massive stutters in multiplayer. I will try the not running as admin and bin-mt change to bin. All others have been extensively tested.
  13. Yes it annoyed me quite a bit that the training missions explain the procedures referencing knots and feet. We finally got a decently modern RedFor aircraft and it seems everyone and their granny (ED included) wants to turn it into a BluFor one straight away…
  14. The only once who will cry are the guys invested more than I in this simulator sooner than later but fear not your weird 'help' will make everyone feel good about the road they push this product and people like will be to blame because people like me will stop telling what is wrong and we will ditch it silently just as it happened with so many other products. I hope that you at least know that no business runs solely on fans assurances, sweet talks and defenetly not on the blame or shame on the users issues. Last one I see becomes an standard reaction to all such posts. So keep it up, it will help you and ED team...for a while. I said religious believes not religion you dumb f. which once again proves that here will be used everything you share just to make a blame on you or shift the focus from the problem on users. It just makes the cockpit looks even worst than it is from original textures and makes nothing to the amount of VRAM it uses.
  15. Today
  16. You're right. I see it now when I checked again - zoomed out more and set strobes on. These and landing lights where atrocious. Navs still disappeared over 200m.
  17. I’ll give that a try! what a relic! It could have an implementation like in racing sims where you can adjust the max force the game scales to
  18. +1 the same in training missions, why we have feet and kts in russian plane in trainings missions I havent any idea … It's the same as having instructions for an F-16 in meters and km/h, that's how convenient it is for me. No point...
  19. I'm on my 13th mission of Baltic dragon's Georgian War campaign and i tried to Jettison my droptanks,I thought it was Lalt+L, When i pressed my Plane went into a Nose down Stall, and it became a Fight. What happened? ever since then my Eagle's Nose wants to Pitch Down like MAD
  20. I'm using TARGET, so it's doable, but you'd still have to raise the axis above 0 to gradually increase the angle upward. If there were positions from -6 to +10 in the control settings, then it would be possible, but not if there's only CW and CCW like now.
  21. +1 on this. Simple things like this are what's needed to grow DCS and promote immersion in multiple different time periods. Trying to fly the F14A or F4 in a 70s or 80s timeframe and then going to tank with a re-engined KC-135 isn't ideal.
  22. By the way, will the physical switch in the cockpit turn itself on as well? It looks like you have to force it.
  23. As is fairly well attested now, ED has no plan when it comes to DCS module - they just need to flog EA stuff they think will sell (hence the modern aircraft in a decidedly Cold War sim). The further an aircraft one cares about stays away from this business model the better IMO. Never sure why people always clamour for "full fidelity" stuff, when really they should be clamouring for ED to release a SDK to the community... Roll on labours of love, and the Jag in particular! Looking forward to her as and when she's ready
  24. If ED actually has the documentation they claim to have to model the F35, modeling other older EW aircraft should be a breeze.
  25. Because that part costs them money, that they may not make back in sales. Letting the dev studios eat the development costs, and then taking a percentage of sales is much better business.
  26. Lighting is totally scuffed but my biggest issue as a 2D player (idk if this is the same in VR) is that lighting as well as the general visibility of the aircraft worsens when you zoom in. So if you zoom out its a barely visible speck, but the lights are present. As you zoom in the plane gets bigger but the lighting does the opposite. Under NVGs or simply at night this is especially frustrating and makes spotting things at night way harder than they should be.
  27. Yo @Tasky welcome to the club! I was in a similar position...worse even, as (whisper it) the Gazelle is my only paid module, and I was using T16000. Remember you can invert the collective axis if your natural instinct is to pull for power Three things not mentioned so far which I found super helpful: Hover trim - learn where the stick needs to be for a hover, roughly, and trim to that position before takeoff. Makes life a lot easier! Check the user files for Gaz campaigns - this one for training, and this brilliant one for putting it into action If you want to practice in another heli, get the OH-6A community module! Not only is it excellent, with a best-in-class FM, but it's light and responsive and so a great way to learn - as per the title - how to actually fly a helicopter! The main thing though is practice and to enjoy it. Frustrating as hell, but sooo satisfying when it starts to come together
