  3. The actual full truth is hard to know since ED isn't very forthcoming with information about this sort of stuff.   7. Hey @Jack Chief sorry to hear it took you that many tries – but at least you nailed it in the end! When you say “how did you drop them” – do you mean the delivery method? I just use a classic dive bombing run, dropping the Mk-20s in pairs. Nothing fancy, just check the bomb table for the correct pipper depression and go for it. On the way to the target area, I stay above 10,000 feet to avoid MANPADS while scanning for the convoy. Once I have eyes on the targets, I set up my attack runs. Since the convoy is moving roughly north to south, I use that as my attack heading and build a kind of bomb pattern over the area – three passes, two Mk-20s each. To avoid getting hit by MANPADS, you can order your wingman to “engage air defences” before your run. Also, pop lots of flares during the attack and while egressing – that worked well for me I am currently adding 1 or 2 addional voice lines for jester to give the player a better callout for the manpad and where to look at.

Может я что не так делаю, но иногда не появляется список целей от Петровича, говорю искать цели, он говорит "начал поиск" и ничего не происходит, в первый раз столкнулся прямо в обучении, проверил целостность файлов, перезапустил DCS и проблема исчезла, далее иду на полигон, поиск идёт, список отображает, цели уничтожает, после пересаживаюсь в кабину оператора, уничтожаю пару целей самостоятельно, снова меняюсь местами иииии..... опять поиск он говорит что начал, но списка опять нет и ничего не происходит ( Но и не знаю, старый баг или нет, но вот такие баги с текстурами за пилотом:
  9. User error. I can tell immediately from the IHADSS that your acquisition source is set to a Cursor Acquisition/Terrain Point (TRN). Whenever you CAQ on the map, where you drop that point becomes the Acquisition Source (ACQ). The reason the dotted cross is pointing to an open field is because the dotted cross points out your Acquisition Source, and your Acquisition Source is a TRN point in an open field. You need to set your Acquisition Source back to TADS to see where George is pointing the TADS in your helmet (I recommend through the weapons page).
  10. Between tree top level and 500 feet above tree top level, with the OH-58D. So real low-and-slow. (I'm still sight seeing the map) In the south west end of the map you really notice the (micro) stutters, yet as stated above, when I got within 27 km from Fulda gap it became freezes. I wanna try it again with the Apache, just to see if I get the same response.

    Nice FM Update

    Not saying the current model is perfect, but spinning in previous FM was not more dramatic, it was just very weird, like any kind of unusual or extreme manoeuvre, where the aircraft had a very unrealistic behaviour, kinda like being in a no gravity environment. Somebody posted a video a while ago of what I mean. It was very annoying. In the previous FM it was not “turning the airplane over” either…maybe there was a bit of extra yawing moment but not so much roll. Agree the effect could be added. I’ve tried the P47 for comparison, at slow speed fully configured, going from idle to full power there is a lot less yaw and more roll compared to the current F4U. It is not particularly hard to counter it, and it feels more realistic than in the Corsair.

My late younger brother got a huge bonus from the company he worked for in IT, he found a way to keep compatibility between the new systems having to be introduced and Netware 3.** that the company used globally, saved the company 10s of millions and as he said "all I got was a lousy meal " Yeah it was a good few years ago...
  17. Moin zusammen, ich habe da mal ein Frage. Habe gestern seit langer Zeit (ca.4 - 6 Monate) mal wieder Clusterbomben an meine Viper gehängt. Bekomme diese aber leider nicht abgeworfen. Was hat sich da denn geändert? Die anzeigen auf dem MFD sehen nun ganz anders aus als früher.
  18. I’m glad you like the campaign. I mostly create missions to fill a gap—there wasn’t much out there. They’re my style, with all their strengths and flaws. I’m happy to share them, but I get it if they’re not everyone’s cup of tea. No big deal, though—you’ve always got my blessing to tweak them and make them your own!

  21. Are you sure you are calculating the speeds correctly, i.e. accounting for winds (headwind/crosswinds), AB vs non-AB speeds, if you have any roll trim? And do you know what speed the Viper was going and what the winds were across the runway in the real-world video you posted? Side note - Real world maximum allowable takeoff GW (48000lbs) based on MLG tire limit speed is 225kts with no winds. But this number changes based on a few things like runway temp and altitude. Could go more into it but not the topic of course, just extra info. If you are still wheels on the ground at 200kts then that could mean you either pulling too early or pulling too late. Pulling too late means you need to use more runway in order to be at a speed to gain lift backb because of ground effect essentially sucking you towards the ground. Pulling too early and the horizontal stabs create drag that will again require you to be at a higher speed to compensate for the increase drag. I typically takeoff with a standard AG loadout (2x 120s, 2x 9s, 2x tanks, 4x 12s, TGP, HTS, ECM long) and depending on the winds on the server my rotate speed with AB ranges from 167-176, meaning my speed at which the main landing gear is off the ground is around 180ish close to 190ish. And thats with aiming for a 10 degree pitch. You would increase takeoff speed 8 percent for an 8 degree pitch. Im not at my computer right now cuz Im mid shift so Im at work and cant watch your track right now. If you can post your weight, winds, and if you used roll trim what your DOT of trim was, that would be helpful as I can do some math while Im waiting and when I get home I will look at your track. I haven't really noticed anything wrong but Ive been busy focusing on the Sniper so maybe I just havent noticed it lol.
  22. I reply to myself, once solved the problem, in case this could help someone in the future. The thing is that, I also noticed not only I had a problem with ICP, but also with UFC data. It was frustrating, because everything worked initially, but at some point, both devices stopped showing DCS data. The solution was given by the great support from WinWing. They connected to my computer and remotely an engineer made all possible tests with DCS and SimAppPro. The solution was to disable (or filtering), for DCS and SimAppPro, the Windows 11 FIREWALL (or any other program that blocks ports, like VPN or AdGuard. I disabled those, too, just in case). Also, I´ve noticed, that, with every SimAppPro update (yesterday there was one update), those filters in Firewall could be disabled again, so check it after every update if you notice the sim data not been shown.   23. IHADSS should show where gunner is looking at, but after the latest patch, on IHADSS, gunner is looking at empty space, but on TADS, gunner is aiming a right target. Everything works, but it is impossible for pilot to check where the gunner is looking The First image showing gunner is looking at empty field, but when I check it with VID TADS, it is aiming BTR The last image shows where the hellfire goes to the gunner's aim. Which is far away from the gunner cross-hair on IHADSS LastMissionTrack.trk

  25. Hi all! Since the last patch, the HAFU symbols in the AZ/EL are missing. Only by designating the contact it appears in the AZ/EL display. Does anybody has the same issue?
