There is no need to use and interpret speculation ! The developer has this literature on the export MiG29A ! Use this book !

Das ist ja wieder mal typisch...
  5. Normally,(General Helicopters) the Torque stays more or less with the physical position of the collective, while with more altitude, the MGT will rise. The only thing could be, that the Apache has a limiter, but i doubt it. The Torquebehaviour is strange anyway on the DCS AH64 (way to jumpy) If you pull a bit of G's while flying with, lets say 90%, you have immediatly 120% A few % would be normal, but not 30%
  7. Yes, all of the above. We all know that in a workplace, or in any social club, there are going to be people who grate on you. That's just life. Generally its the founders of the Cult Squad will set the tone for the experience that follows. I've been a member a few squads over the years and it was always a mixed bag. I'm not currently in any squad or doing any MP. Inevitably, the time comes when I'm no longer willing to tolerate certain nonsense: For example, there will always be the guy who interjects religion into every conversation; Or Politics. It's inevitable that I'll come to resent the "CO" who reminds me of Colonel Lard, or his XO, Barney Fife. I'm no longer willing to tolerate a RIO that giggles like Rosco P. Coltrane or have Frank Burns as my wingman; There will inevitably be the conspiracy theorist (such as Flouride, Elvis, Pandemic, etc), or the ideological nutcase. I kid you not, in one group I had to sit through a "moment of silence" for Manfred Von Richtofen, only to realize that I hadn't muted my microphone and they all heard me laughing my butt off at such ridiculous BS. This is a game, and I couldn't believe they were serious. I've encountered every type of meme warrior, troll, simpleton, knuckdragging, mouth-breathing fool that never matured past the 7th grade. I've sat through 2 hour long "Milsim" briefings that by the time it came around to actually flying I was already on my 6th beer, and to my amusement performed quite well. Oh, and I should add that racism was and is an immediate deal-breaker for me, but I've unfortunately seen far too many willing to go down that path. I've been told that I'm "too sensitive", but I don't think so. I don't miss any of this. So that's the downside. On the positive side, I have learned so much from others and become such a better virtual pilot than I could have managed all by myself. My very best times in flight sims and other games were in Multiplayer. I would join a squad in a heartbeat if I could find the right group of people. I doubt that's likely at this point, but I keep my eyes open for opportunities and an open mind. If someone is new to DCS, or any other complicated simulation, I would highly reccomend joining a squad. They show you the ropes. There is nothing quite as rewarding as flying with and against real people. If you are with the right group (or even a bunch of jerks who know what they're doing) you might be surprised at how skilled you can actually become. So that's what I think...
  9. Interview with the pilot will be made available in english in future. We have a rather graphical proverb in Serbian( for those not easily offended): "Лако је туђим курцем глогиње млатити".
  11. What is a bit confusing, at the moment, is that the HMS sight symbology is displayed where there is no possibility to get a lock. What I have found during testing: The IRST (OEPS-29) has good upwards elevation capability. Keep the target above the canopy rail and you should get a fast and easy lock. For targets directly Left or Right of the aircraft: the limit to achieve lock is around the canopy rail* *This limit is a bit confusing if you are familiar with F-16C and F/A-18C Targets over canopy = good locking ability Targets to the side of canopy = limited locking ability
  13. The "pi_server.exe" use a lot of CPU. Often as much as 20% And on my PC it uses core#4 -same as main core for DCS. This caused my CPU to max in almost all my DCS sessions. So I re-installed process lasso, and made sure pi_server.exe has no access to this core. Voila!
  15. Please start with the date of the release of the page of the manual you got. So far this is the only manual that states this, while we have at least technical document also stating explicitly that SPO does not get blinded by radar. Would be nice to have at least the exact reference so we can lookup further things.
  16. I know how radar altimeters works and how/when it's displayed in the MiG. I just wasn't sure if there's a way to force barometric only. Now after AeriaGlorias response I know that's not design feature.
  19. Post it up.
  20. Copy all. I guess I've just never noticed it with any of the other aircraft, except maybe the Tomcat. It certainly isn't as loud with a Mustang or Thunderbolt when they are on the field. I'm not talking about if the aircraft is right next to you. This is when I'm on the parking stand at the start of a mission and clear on the other side of the field a Corsair starts up. It's so loud I simply wait for him to start up, taxi and takeoff before I do anything. Same thing happens (I'm talking specifically on the Marianna's cold start mission, when the two Corsairs come in and land. As soon as they hit the ground I can no longer hear my own engine running, it gets drowned out by two Corsairs rolling to their hardstands until they shut down.
  21. The F-35B is cool and all, but has some significant limitations over the A such as: A lower airspeed limit of 630KIAS (compared to 700 on the A). A G-Limit of only 7 (compared to 9 on the A) A smaller weapons bay which can't fit 2000lb class bombs. It also lacks the internal gun. From a FM/FLCS perspective also don't need to model the 6 control law modes on the F35B (excluding all the gains) and the weird flight dynamics that come from entering STOVL flight. There are some weird workarounds, but using TRC on a throttle that lacks FFB and adjustable gates can also pose issues.
