It is still being developed, I know it feels like waiting for a unicorn, but we will get there.

 

Internal testing continues, we found some issues with MP sync that needed tweaking.

I'm waiting with baited breath like so many other's on multicrew. It might well get me back into DCS even if some pilot just wants a shooter.

MP sync :megalol: Really? At least it's not a DCS UH-1H unique bug. We can expect an improvement also for the overall MP Sync?

No, AFAIK the issues are about syncing cockpit controls within the Huey module between the pilot and the co-pilot when both are human players.

Well, obviously a lot has happened since then, especially the merge of Belsimtek with ED, which has thrown all their projects and priorities around (like the Phantom :cry:).

OK, lets be serious here, why hasn't these issues already been solved over the last years? Its not like ED is facing this issue since yesterday. This statement was the reason why it wasn't part of the initial Huey release and this was 7 years ago. Since then there wasn't a single time that ED brought this issue up on there own...only if we were asking for and since then we heare the same statement again and again? For 7 years? With all these improvements DCS made?

Be serious about what? This year we restarted work on multicrew. It has not been in development for seven years, we planned it seven years ago.

It is complex work, I have already said as soon as it is ready for public testing it will be in the patch notes.

 

Until then everyone will need to continue to be patient.

Thanks for the update again. I have learnt to be a "patient little puppy" so when multi-crew finally does arrive Im sure it will be worth while and knock out at that. I salute all you talented programmers.

Yes it is the flight sim way, being patient is an art form, been doing it myself for many years :)

"It has not been in development for seven years" That's the issue right there; You sold us on this feature and took our money 7 years ago, didn't work on it for literally years and redirected funds and ressources to sell us other half finished products. I did buy into a (at the time) open beta product, but wasnt told the project would literally be shelved for half a decade.

The fundamental problem is Eagle Dynamics monetization system. They make money by selling new modules, not by completing old ones. There is no economic incentive to finish anything with this model. A subscription based system would turn things around I think. I don't want a subscription based system though.

Anyway, I'm sure ED will own up and finish this module eventually. They are honest people after all.
