Здрасти!! моя конфигурация PentiumIV 630 3000Hz, памяти 512 Мб, видео GeForce 6200 128 Мб и у меня бывают жуткие тормоза. Графика выставлена по дефолту. Во время простого пилотирования вроде нормально, но как только начинаю переключать виды, или при попадании ракеты во цели и т.д. происходят жуткие тормоза.. Можно ли какнибудь с этим боротся?

Firstly, if you already know about TouchBuddy and what it does, you can pretty much skip down to the change list at the bottom... all the stuff at the top you will already be bored with :) Secondly, this software is free, so I am not trying to sell you anything... Right, here we go.... I am pleased to announce the release of TouchBuddy v1.0.0. .... I am announcing it here in a new thread because so many people didnt find the early releases and chat for a long time in the monsterously huge "My New Toy" thread, which is worth a read anyway). TouchBuddy is a programmable gamepad application that was designed to allow a small TFT touchscreen to (like the 7" or 8" units that you see in cars and kiosks) to work like a gamepad, allowing the user to press buttons on the screen, which will send keypresses and macros to the game or application. (This is not Lockon specific, it is being used in many other games in our testing, and existing users are creating their own profiles for new games). TB is able to display user defined buttons with user defined images on user defined tabs. The buttons are created by loading user defined images and placing them on the screen. The user can group buttons together on seperate tabs, and click between them. You can watch a movie of TouchBuddy being used to fly the SU-25T in Lomac HERE (~48Mb DivX AVI - requires DivX codec from http://www.divx.com ) TB can also display PDF files, web pages, movies, and play your MP3s using the ActiveX plugin: TB also supports TeamSpeak via an inbuilt TeamSpeak module: In the latest release, TB also supports "per-tab" background images: TB now also supports "per-tab" background colors (sorry no screenies of that... ) TouchBuddy works in local mode, where the touchscreen is attached to your main game PC as a secondary screen, and also work in client/server mode, where TB runs a server version of itself on your gaming machine, and the client part (and your touchscreen) are on another PC, and send the commands across the network (connection secured via password, as well as an IP based access list). The client/server mode allows the use of the mouse on the second PC without affecting the game, and also bypasses the problem that some games have where they will not let the cursor outside the game window (*cough* iL2 *cough*). While TB is "idle", it uses almost zero CPU time, and only using a few % CPU when pressing buttons (apart from the TeamSpeak module, which uses just a little bit more than that). Sometime this Saturday night after the action has died down or early Sunday morning (eastern daylight time) The S77th server will again revert to easier settings to help get you guys up & running online and give you a chance to enjoy some flying in a gentler environment. Like before: This will probably be a regular mission map, unless there is a lot of demand for a carrier/ refueling map or something. The TS channel is 66.165.113.50 Please use it. For the benefit of the newest forum members- this is a 1.12a server. What I thought I would do this week is take Gunja's idea and apply the following settings: Externals, padlock, map, and view objects ON Labels & easy radar OFF The point is to remove the mind-stunting labels, requiring you to use the radar & other targeting sensors to find enemy-BUT STILL -give you the ability to see who is around you quickly via the MAP screen. The MAP will provide IFF with red & blue icons. Vets- Please be nice and come on out to help these guys out. Don't go in there to score some easy kills. There are no stats being recorded- no one will care. I want to teach these guys to fight the plane. Not above telling em where I'm at- if neccessary- so they can find me on their sensors and get comfortable using them. Sadly- I cannot be on all day, but I'll be there as much as possible. Thanks to the guys who hung out most of the day last weekend answering the same questions 20X, and all the rest of it too. :thumbup: Remember you get 25+ people in there and it's not always an organized "classroom environment" OK? Be cool- and have fun. If you need a little more help- we'll get you some. It's just easier to do that stuff when it's a bit quieter.

Thats called IFF. NCTR is different and IDs aircraft by type and model. No Russian jets have NCTR.

fudd, only caught you on comms for a sec tonight, but this is why this happens. systems that are .. cpu slow low memory (less than 1024mb) have Long Loading times. during the Long Loading Time, the game sees you as 'inactive' and while you are loading you end up being timed out. this some how tricks the game into thinking you have to hit S to start like single player or hosting.. the end result is you either hit S, then it automaticly goes back to menu or you hit S and you are not connected but still flying in the mission. so moding the config is only an attempt to cover over the problem. upgrading ram will most likely help and eliminate the problem compleatly.

Nice post Zorlac, lot's of good info here: You can download a copy of the Toolkit Beta HERE. I should have a new version out in a few days that has a nice editor for Modules and Plugins, and also a functional Profile Manager tab. :D

i may pop in the morning some time to help, particularly with my much loved Su-33. focus on a2a refueling, carrier procedures, runway procedures. if i have time may touch on some combat. i do need to say that i have to get some sleep tonight tho, as i need to be fresh for the trip down to the hospital where my mate is seriously injured after hitting a kangeroo whilst riding his motorcycle.

Да это действительно так. Месяц назад поставил 2гб ОЗУ и в реестре XP отключил файл подкачки. Игра стала намного шустрее.

Кстати ИМХО ЛО вообще не любит файл подкачки , у меня сейчас 1.5 Гб стоит , свап отключил и глюков прям сильно поубавилось . На счет видчхи , помню еще на 5700 отлично леталось на средних настройках , фпс был от 15 на аэродроме . Бывало конечно и 3 фпс , но это как исключение .

У меня тоже тормоза. Р4 2800, 2х512+2х1024 ОЗУ, 6600GT, Версия 1.12а. В компании СУ-25T, которая поставлялась и игрой, на аэродроме при взлете fps около 10, также при посадке. Настойки графики в середине. Как у людей над городами 30 fps, чудеса...

Режь графику железной рукой. С твоей конфигурацией - единственный выход. Можно, конечно, попробовать разблокировать спящие конвейеры на 6200 - но это как фишка ляжет. Эффект будет, конечно, но небольшой. Почитай оверклокерс, там были статьи на эту тему.

Можно :) Менять CPU, добавлять памяти, менять видяху... См. мою конфигурацию. В свободном полете на высоте 100 м над Севастополем с полной облачностью, средние fps 20-30, начинаешь башкой крутить (особенно при вираже, во внутрь виража) - падают до 15-20. И это при том, что (не судите строго за "рейтинги" AMD :) ) процессор у меня (разогнанный) лучше твоего на 30% по "рейтингу", памяти больше в 4 раза, а про видяху уж и говорить нечего: 6200 имеет пиксельных конвейров всего 4, в дефолте GF6200 имеет частоту работы 300MHz, память - DDR с частотой 550 MHz (сравни с GF6600GT)
