Question. for us pit builders, will we be able to use potinometers throue a IO card to adjust the hud dim/bright? Can we asine the pot. to a certin dile in the cocpit? And how many axes will be suported in game?

twist grip Hi, guys, On Mi-24s (Mi-8s, Mi-17s), there are two throttle levers to each engine. On the collective there is a twist throttle grip as well. If you twist it to the full left, it is the idle "on the earth", we use this at start-up, during warm-up and cooling after a flight. After warm-up you twist the grip to the full right position; this is the idle "in the air", from this RPM the auto engine controller system operates and maintains 91-98 % of rotor RPM (you can choose the exact RPM with the governor, usually 95%, 91-93% for lower consumption en-route, 97-98% for intensive maneuvering). From take-off to land you only need to use the collective. The main use of separate throttle levers is during engine tests. However, you need to use them and the twist grip during a flight, if there's a failure of the engine control system (the engines don't work well together etc.) In some hard situations you have to maintain rotor RPM manually by the twist grip, or pull the wrong engine to idle, cool down and shut down. And there's a flight task for rookie pilots to fly and land with one engine, when you have to use the separate levers (if you pull down an engine, the other one will run at maximum power and maintain rotor RPM) Will a similar thing be modelled in BS?

Yes, head movement is limited. IIRC, the limits are adjustable in lua. By default, you cannot move enough to lean outside the door.

Shoot em all down if they're flying in a hostile manner. If I had my way you wouldn't get a negative score for shooting down a jammer if he's locked you up. The other guy would for being stupid :)

The ecm blinking issue with RB was a one off situation a long time ago between him and a.n.other nothing more, so you can spin it up to the current 504 guys as much as you like as to why we left the 504 but its most definately nothing that comes from you, ask yourself how you helped make the ecm blinking issue worse numbnut, we had to make it plain on the forums that as well as blinking nobody should use your wonderous script either as that was no different.;) I know we didn't have your approval to leave the 504 but as long as your happy stirring the sh#t to everyone out of sight and it makes you look good then fine, just stay outta my way.;) The fact your not even in the 504, you apparently run some other squad, makes it totally none of your business as to why we left but believe me I have a hell of a lot more reasons to be pissed about the subject than you could even think up so do me a favour get over it, grow up and do one.;)

Леша, за идею +5!, чувствуется стратег в мышлении:) - так что про полеты придется подзабыть тебе;). Только задачу так кратко не стоило ставить: я не смотрел особо ПВО до вылета, так как летали на тренах на ястребах и зоны патрулирования были далековато от линии фронта - обвешался под завязку ПРР-ками только по своей хохлятской жадности. Из-за нее же и был частично сбит: решил на отходе еще раз посмотреть на линию фронта на предмет излучений - на чем потерял драгоценное время. P.S. Навеяло классикой:megalol:: "нету Петрухи...убили его: Абдулла (Хабиб) зарезал".

Well, to sort it out abit...i know it works with gyros and all sorts of that but i more mean like....how do they program a route into it?;) Like airliners have an FMC, western fighters have some kinda box that they plug in....how do russians do that?

заработало... проблемма оказалсь в фаерволе... когда разрешил полный доступ локону всё заработало... странно только, почему при полном отрубление фаервола сетевая игра отказывалась работать всё равно
