Both are easy to kill if they don't surprise you and you know where they are. You can kill avengers with good bomb run from high altitude (the thing won't even fire at you) or even guns. For TOR's all you gotta do is use ECM I think that's kind off silly because if those SAM's are from the future then the aircraft flying should have some super powers from the future as well? You wanna talk about realism about pilots G loading in game, missile effectiveness etc, and when it comes to SAM placements you go completely ff the track and come up with completely unrealistic SAM unit placements. Do they/you also understand that realisticly, armed forces have come up with stand off long range weapons for situations like this with a purpose? This is how it should be considering that one aircraft who has the capability of long range SEAD strike gets through the defences (air and ground). Also there are mission rotators available so there's another alterative to mission longivity... instead of having 100's of SAM placed unrealistically on the map which hinders performace of the server, and having a mission running for a months (which is why I can't understand why you should be surprised units get detsroyed then there's nothing left after few days) you can have more mission types and different unit placements and have them rotated at least once a day.

I wasnt trying to make the correlation that the cadet squadron is a bunch of n00bs. You said that, I didnt. Anyway, whats I was saying is that Avengers and Tors are like Apples and Oranges. And by the way, AI doesnt get pissed off like a rattlesnake. If it did get pissed off, it would be because it was placed under a bridge with a Buk launcher that has a radar thats 500km away. That would sure piss me off, if I was that Avenger!

At first: This Forum is amazing good. Love it:thumbup: Now my problem: Ever when i tryed to replace the FlankerB my LockOn crashed and I don`t know why. I can replace every model but not this one. I created a new model for my wingman and me because we are Flanker-Jockeys. So my final question is: It isn`t possible to replace the Su-27, is it?:cry: If it, how i could do that? I've just finished watching this film on a UK TV channel (Film 4). Excellent Russian war film set in Afghanistan, I guess you could regard it as Russia's version of Platoon or Big Red One. Has no-one mentioned it on this Forum before? I certainly don't remember it. Loads of stuff in it that is also in Lockon:- T-72, BMP-2, BTR-60/70(?), Grad, BRDM, Mi-24, Mi-8, Su-25, An-12(?), An-26. Yeah I just saw some IL2 videos with 6DOF and it really makes my belly go up. The other thing is to better FOVs for flyable aircraft in LOFC1.12. During my MAKS'07 visit I had the opportunity to buckle up in Su-27. Safety belts do not fixate pilot completely like in LO, you're able to lean and by looking over your shoulder you can see entire tail (both verticals and nozzles) entire wing and gun nozzle. Of course I had no helmet but I don't think it restricts head movements that much!

IIRC the trigger space is a cylinder rather than a dome. So any altitude over a given circle on the ground . . . .

Leaning thing and getting up and down in your seat didnt really make me go wow, but that head tilt thing made me drop my jaw. I was like "look ma, i'm flyin". I know 6DOF will not happen to LOFC, but i do think that roll axes could. Yaw and Pitch work and i dont see why Roll should be any different or harder to implement.
