oh poor you :cry: Seriously though... how can you people even think to "request" or "demand" from any developer something you personally would like to have. Don't you realise ED and any other company can do what ever they like and make any product they like if they chose to do so. Do you go and write to any other software developer (there are tons of them) that make other gaming software why they didn't make something you so dearly want? I mean this is just silly :music_whistling: I go to shop and I see tons of games in there. If I like one (or think I would like) I go and buy it. Many times I've installed the game and uninstalled it straight away (or few days after) because it's just crap in my opinion. I did never though to go and complain to software developers asking why they made it like that and why didn't they do this and that. On few occasions I went and returned the game for a refund... most times I just felt like a sucker and left it like that. In the end I could have gone and returned any game if I wanted to, I just chose not to. But did I never even think to ask questions like this. Alright, I'm gonna stop now... just had to get this off my chest... I just can't understand this at all... I think everyone should be happy that ED chose to develop a good study sim... so what if it's starting with a chopper... there will be more later on. What's important is they are making a very high quality sim series and we should be grateful for that.

Hello fellow Pilots. Me and my freind has worked really hard the last couple of weeks to get this model finished with animations UW mapping and skinning. ASwell for some modeling. The base model was made by Mario Costa of the Virtual Halcones display team, aswell witht he help of Mr Frazer And Mr Maligant i belive. Me shaggy has done allt eh skinning which is a work in progress and my Dear freind "Petter" Crow has done all the aniations and interior modeling aswell as the UW mapping. There is lots of Extra 300L solo aircraft out there read to be pained on this bird, so i will be doing an easy to use paintkit for those who want to make their own skins. Mod will include a skins file for 6-8 skins aswell ready to be aötered for your personal mod. Mod will also contain Extra 300L sounds. This is truly an amazing aicraft, and with the right settings in Loc On you can get close to its manouverbility :smilewink: And Now Some Pictures Enjoy And by the way.... the Royal Jordanian Flacons texture i am making is allready supposed to be used in a virtual team i am starting, just in case anyone has planned to start a Jordanian Falcons team :smilewink: EXTRA 300L "The Halcones "Work In Progress!" We had greater then 30+ A-10 Pilots at once and many more flew any number of sorties over the weekend. As you know our goal was to bring attention to the SIM-MOD team’s exceptional efforts. In this regard we sincerely hope that as a result of the event we both raised awareness of and encouraged others to download and install this outstanding A-10 modification for LockOn. There was no noticeable impact on FPS or performance that could even remotely be attributed to the SIM-MOD A-10 model for LockOn. Any FPS or performance problems we had, while noticeable were slight and likely due to the large number of ground targets present in the mission AFAIK. No major problems were reported. All in all it was a great weekend. Given that this was a single AC specific event 30+ at once is outstanding. Warthog Weekend was a fitting tribute to the SIM-MOD team and their gift to everyone who shares in our passion for LockOn. Moving forward we at the 104th will host frequent "special community driven" events as often as possible to pay homage and tribute to those that have gone above and beyond for the sake of the entire community. @SuperKungFu I often ask me the same question - is it the right aspect ratio... and i must tell you - i dont know it exactly!! You must know, i often touched the real A-10 at my Home Base in Germany "JG-73-Laage" (where the german Mig-29 where flown ;-) - sorry i am proud that i was an engine mechanic on it ) and i know how an A-10 looks... But in the game i have my problems to see what is right and what not! My Problem is that i use a tool for LO:FC to get the A-10 Model working correctly! I use LOCFG and i there i have the 1.6 ratio (1600:1000) but i dont really know " does it work or not" - everything i change there is really changed in the game but i am not so shure with the aspect ratio) When i am taxying on the ground i sometimes believe that it seems not correctly - in the air i am happy with the dimensions. U can look here in the screenshot forum - i have posted their some screens today. Maybe u can say " Yeah, that is 1.6 ;-) the picture behind the Air Refueler is not safe - for my opinion the wings and so on a little bit to long - it seems a little bit stretched??! Tell me what u think and sorry for my sometimes bad english - here we speak it not so often ;-)! yes ... like a complete integration in Lockon :) There is no beta version done yet ... so, when first beta will be done, then, count some weeks before a complete and no-bug version :music_whistling:

No date yet. Best I can say is several weeks for sure, and most likely some months. Our free-time goes tighter for personnal reasons... and even if we can now publish nice screenshots (Thanks for your comments on them ! :)) there is still a lot to do. Cheers Az'

Well I was interested in the "STRAPLINE HEADING " fix flashing clouds... but all I get is more nonsense abreveations, what is SLi? and why is this so called "fix" seemingly complex and delicate to do?

The template for the skins is being reworked. The cockpit as it is now The reworked cockpit Guys you need to remember this is the first model for the Sim-Mod crew. Mistakes were made the best decisions were made to complete the project this is not an excuse its just the reality of what happens in life. Yes the ADI has been fixed

I agree, model is wonderful, but as KungFu said in FAQ, some elements are not modelled cause it was so small and let's say aren't important. I don't fly A-10, for me it is crap, but I am happy to see new model which isn't ugly and with Frogfoot baby is prettiest models in the game. If somebody think something is bad, simple don't use it, or if u can do better, but if u can't better say nothing and be happy to fly model which is extremally better than oryginal. Of course everybody can criticise but all has their limits. :)
