Перевод Модель распознавания целей для ЛА-ИИ в DCS:BS (ЧА) В ЧА появились новые функции присвоения целей в редакторе миссий и [соответствующая] комплексная модель распознавания целей для ИИ - самолетов и вертолетов. Модель принимает в расчет конкретные имеющиеся на борту средства обнаружения и условия внешней среды. В целом она предназначена для обеспечения более реалистичных действий ИИ по земле и включает следующие переменные: Бортовые средства обнаружения РЛС "воздух-воздух" РЛС "воздух-поверхность" многорежимная РЛС СПО ТВ-оптика низкоуровневая оптика тепловизоры [оптико-электронные системы] ИК системы поиска и сопровождения (IRST) [*]навык объекта [*]скорость объекта [*]ограничения по обзору из кабины объекта [*]время суток [*]фон за целью (открытое пространство, лес, вода, дорога и т.д.) [*]погодные условия туман дымка осадки [*]прерывание линии визирования (местность, здания) [возможно, имелось в виду прерывание во времени - в процессе наблюдения] [*]размер цели (включая возможный пылевой след) [*]тип цели - одиночная или групповая [*]шум (здания/сооружения) [*]стрельба из оружия [*]искусственное освещение (вспышки, огонь на земле и т.д.) [*]источники света на цели (огни, маяки и т.д.) При назначении ППМ для удара, создающий миссию человек определяет конкретную область на карте и типы целей, по которым будет работать наносящий удар летательный аппарат (транспортные средства, здания, воздушные цели и т.д.). По достижении этой ППМ, ИИ начинает поиск в указанной зоне целей заданного типа до тех пор, пока не найдет цель или не достигнет следующего ППМ. Размер зоны может быть сведен к конкретной координате ("точке"). Создатель миссии может определить ИИ задачу выполнить "ковровое" бомбометание (указав две точки на карте под одним именем, одна начальная и другая финальная). Применяемые ИИ различные радиолокационные и оптические средства определяются индивидуально для каждого юнита, в соответствии с его характеристиками. Это позволяет воспроизводить широкий спектр боевых возможностей моделируемой техники, в соответствии со временем суток и погодными условиями. [я не понял, что конкретно автор имел в виду. Юниту задается условие "пользуйся именно радаром"?] Не имеющие технических средств обнаружения ЛА типа Су-25 будут выполнять эту задачу только при возможности визуального контакта. Тут обнаружение зависит от ограничений видимости из кабины и атмосферных условий (время суток, погода, линия визирования и другие переменные). Ночью визуальное обнаружение может выполняться при наличии внешних источников света (искуственная подсветка, огневой бой). В плохую погоду визуальное обнаружение может быть невозможно. ЛА с ТВ оптикой, включая низкоуровневую, полагаются на естественную или искуственную подсветку целей. Уменьшение уровня естественной освещенности - туман, облачный покров и обильные осадки - вызывает уменьшение эффективности таких систем вплоть до 0. Оптикоэлектронные системы позволяют обнаруживать цели ночью и в плохую погоду. Оснащенные РЛС ЛА могут обнаруживать воздушные и наземные цели в любых погодных условиях и при любой видимости. Для РЛС "воздух-поверхность" цели, прикрытые шумом [засветками] на земле, типа зданий, трудны для обнаружения и могут стать невидимыми. Однако движение юнитов, большие их группы и их нахождение на дорогах или ВПП улучшают процесс обнаружения. Некоторые модели РЛС могут обнаруживать только статичные сооружения или морские цели (бомбардировщики и соответственно морские разведчики). Скорость движения ЛА и его "навык" также влияют на вероятность обнаружения, его дальность и потребное на это время. В целом, более высокий "навык", меньшая скорость и лучшая видимость из кабины увеличивают шансы на обнаружение как визуальное, так и техническими средствами. В модели обнаружения участвует и множество характеристик целей. Общий размер цели определяет макс. дальность обнаружения. Группа целей обнаруживается скорее, чем одиночная. Оказывает влияние пылевой след при движении, включая и хвост за низколетящими ЛА (хвоста нет при обильных осадках). Наконец, ускоряет обнаружение и стрельба, причем залпы РСЗО будут обнаруживаться дальше, чем например пулеметный огонь. Если цель ведет огонь, то она может быть обнаружена, если ИИ смотрит в ее сторону, и если выпущенные ею снаряды пересекают зону обзора. Например, ИИ может отреагировать на ЗУР и соответственно наличие ЗРК на обратном склоне горы, если ракета попадает в поле его зрения. Все пехотные юниты, включая ПЗРК, обнаруживаются, только когда ведут огонь. Применяя пушку и управляемые средства поражения, наводимые по ТВ, ИК или лазерному каналу, ИИ будет наносить удар только при возможности визуального либо оптического обнаружения. Применение оружия выполняется только при контакте с целью. Если он прерывается до пуска, атака может продолжаться только с применением неуправляемых боеприпасов. Например, если цель обнаружена по ее стрельбе или при искуственном освещении, а потом эта подсветка пропадает до того, как атака завершена, ИИ может продолжить нанесение удара по этой цели в течение 10 секунд, применяя неуправляемое оружие, целясь в последнюю видимую позицию цели. [я не понял, если подсветка исчезнет за пару секунд попадания Вихря - что будет с ракетой и целью?] ПКР будут применяться только по целям, обнаруженным прицельными системами, а КР будут летать как в обнаруженные цели, так и заданные географические координаты. Когда целью удара является не объект, а координата, возможно применение оружия любого типа в любых условиях. При вступлении в воздушный бой, для выполнения атаки при помощи стрелково-пушечного вооружения и УР с ИК ГСН, ИИ должен иметь возможность установить сенсорный или визуальный контакт с целью, только при наличии которого возможен пуск ракеты. Для ракет с РЛ ГСН необходим РЛ контакт. [гениально написано] В конфигурационных файлах игрок имеет возможность регулировать максимальные дальности обнаружения целей для разных объектов, включая индивидуальные параметры средств обнаружения.

  3. Ok guys.. I'm up for it.. Bring it on..!! You guys gonna have a new Hi detailed a-10 model and thats a personal promise of mine.. First.. please give me any kind of material you have about a-10.. Second.. where is the modified model of a-10 lo-fi worked on..that model could make things happen much faster..If its lost in linbo of models, then where is the hi poly model..Even if thats lost..than gimme the 3 way blueprints.. This doesnt mean that the plane comes out from the poll is going to be late or fade out.... We have a little "=TuAF= Skunk Works" team here..It will be done..Both.. Lets do this ppl..Lets fly the hog :)

LOMACs problem in this are: 1)Lack of multirole aircraft 2)lack of support from other players In face of these 2 factors you can only expect to go any far from base in a frog if there are many places to hide. Even if the mission editor could be fixed, wihtout satisfying 1) and 2) theres nothing you can do about it. Getting 1) would at least encourage cooperation between the players to cover each other AA and AG in the same pakage. The only place to be in a Su-25 is in the mountains near sochi or gudauta. Going for the straights of Kerch without a fighter escort is purely suicidal and a waste of time specialy if bases are appart 200 miles. BTW Graywolf, I do use Su-25T to clear that SAM thats bothering the hell out of me. However do it less when I dont have all day to play wich dosnt happen for quite a while.

  7. Good post! I'll inject some of my opinions here: Close escort is not so good. If I catch you close-escorting a bomber and I shoot you down, that bomber's toast. Your best bet is to run a fighter sweep ahead of that bomber, then CAP its attack area - it all has to be nicely timed, and some close escort MAY be necessary and even useful for some of the flight, but as a fighter pilot, it's probably the worse of your options (Save for not escorting at all) :) And again, I say distance would be the key. :) With people having to manage their fuel, apply evasion and search tactics that become more important over long ranges, as well as navigation, fly specific flight profiles - this is ALL forced on you by distance. As a lonewolf, you're likely to perish in the face of a coordinated flight much more likely than in shorter-range missions (because running away become difficult) on the other hand, it's easier to survive if you play your cards right and manage your fuel (because chasing you becomes an issue) so it now opens up more options for engagement/disengagement decisions, etc. Of course, it also weeds out anyone who wants to take off and shoot, which might make the server just a little less popular ...

  8. Well then do what every good Fighter Jock should - protect your Bombers! Actively seek out a Bomber Pilot and inform via Team Chat that you're going to fly Top-Cover for him and Close-Escort him to the HZ and back, aiding in his SA as far as Bandits and possible SAM launches are concerned as well as target-ID'ing/relaying Target Info re location etc etc to the Bomber - an impromptu co-op adds a lot, especially if you go after an EWR, for example, to aid the Fighter Boys. And the possibilities go on....... The majority of my Hyperlobby online play is merely to practice weapons deployment and the like and very seldom with the intention of a structured/co-ordinated flight. However, every now and again it spontaneously happens that a Fighter hooks up with me and things flow from there - and from a Frog-Drivers' perspective it's a helluva lotta fun and adds a lot to the immersion. For that mission it makes Hyperlobby a Good place to be :D You want something different - you need to make something different ;) :)

  9. Sounds great! For the objective based missions I would like to make one suggestion to aid the ground pounders and the mission as a whole. And that is to weigh the mission in their favor so the targets for A10/Su25 are easy to get to and they can get to them under cover. So many times I've seen targets for the mud movers set between the opposing airfields, or near about, which just makes a difficult job impossible and you just end up getting shot down as you get to the target area. It would be great if the fighters had to search the coast, valleys etc to save their ground units instead of just flying towards the oppositions airport and hopefully it will encourage the fighters to escort too.

  10. I'm very curious about where you read this, so I could have a look myself. While the doppler navigation system of the Apache can send information to the fire control computer, it has no effect on the ability of the TADS to acquire and track targets. One way in which they are linked, for example, is if you tell the TADS to look at a specific point on the ground by entering a set of grid coordinates. If your doppler is off (which is actually fairly common over featureless desert) then your TADS might not point at the correct spot. Still, it would only be off by a relatively small amount, and you can't use that to acquire or track a target anyway. During Desert Storm, GPS was still in relatively short supply in the military, and the Apache didn't have it. Because of the inherent problems with doppler navigation over the desert, it was decided to have Air Force MH-53's handle the navigation, and they led the Apaches to a point near their targets, and the Apaches moved into the battle positions on their own from there.

  12. I would say it is not necessarily so. Apache and Tiger are first and foremost designed as anti-tank helicopters, but the days of big tank armies are gone. The current reality are the small local conflicts with no clearly defined enemy (insurgents), rules of engagement, etc. I see a need for a versatile armoured platform for patrols, combat air support and the likes. If it can carry some special forces troops with it, even better. The Tiger seems rather vulnerable to small arms fire and thus unsuited for daytime operations of this kind. The Apache faires somewhat better. But I wouldn't want my very expensive helicopter which can destroy tanks from half a dozen kms away rust in some hangar because I'm afraid some "peasant armed with an AK" might make holes in it or at least its state-of-the-art equipment :)

  13. You wouldn't happen to have one of the Roxio Media Creator Suites installed, would you? I find that it's Easy Audio Capture utility influences how other audio recording apps behave. For instance, if I have it set to mic rather than "what you hear", some other apps I have will only record from the mic as well. It shouldn't do that but it does. Perhaps something similar is at play in your case. Also, I assume you have tried both "Detect best sound input" and "Use Windows input"...with the "Record Sound" box is checkmarked. Rich

  16. This is the movie "Flight to death", about Milenko Pavlovic, commander of Yugoslav fighter air force (204th). He died defending his home town of Valjevo. He dragged a younger pilot out of the aircraft and took off. Few minutes before being hit he lost the generators. This meant that all the aircraft was good for is 15 minutes of battery power ,only for essential instruments for RTB. However, he pressed on. It is thought that he sacrificed him self, so that no further pilots would be lost. A mechanic talks about what was the procedure for extending aircraft resources during the time of sanctions. The command simply issues a statement proclaiming that the resources are now extended. No testing, no repair. Some repairs that were done were achieved by cannibalizing some planes to make others work. A pilot says: at that time, to us, it would be the same if we were attacked by Martians. The technological gap was already so huge, that it would not matter if it was any bigger. Even the way they've used us was wrong. (Planes were being sent one by one, or just one pair at the time. The pilots often suggested that one decisive sweep should be mounted, giving at least some chance of success) There was no coordination between the SAM units and the fighters, no way that they could drive one target away from the others, so we could engage it. In fact, we were often shot at by our own air defenses. I don't blame the SAM operators. They were simply told to shoot at anything thats in the air. It should be noted that at the time this was filmed all the 29s were still grounded, in need of repair (5 should have been repaired by the begging of the year, but only one is air worthy at this moment), and that is why MiG-21 is used in the reenactment. There were no combat MiG-21 flights during the war. An order was once received to arm the 21s with AA missiles, but quickly withdrawn. The 29 cockpit shots you can see is Milenko Pavlovic at an air show in '98. Two boys you can see are his sons. The one without hare lost it after hearing of his father's death.

  17. I believe I have the hi res version of that A-10 that lo-fi and deadman where working on. It was a model built for the phoenix project (i think) that they where cutting polys from. If you want it let me know. I will enjoy a new hog!

But its probably stuck right now on his computer since he ran into some computer trouble. Lofi doesn't really have time to get new parts for it to retrieve it. I've tried to contact him in the past but no response. However, i could get in contact with strikemax. When i first gave the link for the original A-10 model download from krazyscotman, strikemax reduced the poly amount by a lot before passing it onto lo-fi. If you are interested in that, tell me and i'll see if strikemax still have it.
