  3. Just a quick note to let folks know that I have uploaded a new tutorial to my site: F-15C: Radar Introduction and Long Range Search (LRS). This is an introduction to the F-15C's radar, the AN/APG-63. The goal of this training flight is to introduce you to the Vertical Situation Display (radar scope) and, using the Long Range Search (LRS) mode, to discuss the importance of understanding your scan volume: where it's pointing, and what it's doing. You will also learn to understand and interpret what you might see while in LRS mode. Targeting modes are not discussed. Nor will we be shooting anything down (boring, I know). All that will come in future tutorials. OTOH, I have finally found my way into the F-15's pit. You'll find the tutorial on the A2A page of my site. Enjoy. Rich

  4. Server update. Today the server software crashed for the first time online. immediately we tried to reproduce the error offline. The first attempt was successful. A bug was then found in an untested part of the newly added stats logging module. The bug was fixed and tested OK. Downtime was 20 minutes.

  5. I never really wondered about resources, as my scripts where comparably rather small, i think you can do the calculations with a lot less code than in C but i can't say for sure as i'm a wuss in C. I also don't know how well you used the MATLAB syntax ;) Enough of the MATLAB talk already  :music_whistling:

  7. Это с переустановкой ГС или винды? Почему клинические случаи с приводами, либо крайняя аккуратность в обращении с носителем всегда выдается за "как и у всех"?

  10. Reminding what this thread is for- the F-15 in RvE '80s server will remain with 2 Sidewinders and it will not get R-73. MiG-29 remains with 2 R-73s, as well as the Su-27. This is how the server goes and will go, so far the feedback is more than positive.

  11. I do use the system found there: http://www.opencockpits.com/index.php?newlang=english It's cheap, easy to operate, simple to wire and program, and it's really extremely efficient. I'm using a versatile combinason of 2 IO MasterCards linked on a USB ExpansionCard. It works fine with LockOn and permits the implementation of functions that are not available in lOCKoN. As asked, here is a photography of my front panel, the pit is "dismanteled" as I was preparing it for a LAN party... ALL the lights and switches you can see there are functionnal and in compliance with LockOn ;)

  12. Hi Alex, I'm already working on an interface for this, using an AVR AtMega8-16 micro controller. I think it will be either a keyboard device (lots of buttons) or a joystick (less buttons, but also analog axes). For the joystick-approach I already have a working test-setup, based on the MJoy project by Mindaugas. But our first priority is to get the stick finished, so I'm currently working on a version of the Cougar PCB to fit our stick. When that is done, I can again concentrate on getting the switches on the panels to work.

  13. Hi, Thanks, I also think its ГУ-6, do you have any idea what it means? Could it be some kind of serialnumber? And thanks everyone, for the confidence in this project, greatly appreciated:)
