As several people within our team were building a cockpit, or planning to build one, we decided it would be cool to combine the efforts and build a completely interactive cockpit instead of several 'standard' pits. This new cockpit will be modelled after the basic Su-27 found in Lockon: Flaming Cliffs. At this moment we're still in the very early stadium of designing and testing. The plan is to make most of the instruments to work using the export features in Lockon. We could of course use the SimMeters solution for a quick start, but we decided to design and build everything ourself. Some key features planned for our cockpit are: - Analog mechanical gauges, such as AoA meter, G-meter, engine management, oil pressure, etc - Working buttons and switches - A remodelled stick resembling the one found in the real Su-27 - A dual sliding throttle, as found in the Su-27 - Easy to build and disassemble, using the same system as found in the Akers-Barnes pit. Currently there are four people involved in this project: - LigerZero: Overall cockpit assembly - Wasserfall: Instrument panels - HPO: Stick design - Joe Kurr: Software and electronics Here are some early pics of our progress so far (I'll include more images later today when I get home): The front panel: 3D preview of the new stick: We plan to do a small presentation of this project at the upcoming Lowland Tiger Meet in Ahaus, where we will also be demonstrating prototypes of some parts we've already made.

Это просто невозможно так-как придётся и КА-50 переделывать. Игра совместимая.! а в КА-50 Крым отсутствует Лучше попросить всё-таки сделать возможным замену вооружения после посадки как в Акуле з.ы Опередили

Thanks for the info, I'll use that to time my flights for the race instead of my seperate stopwatch. Please note that I didn't ask this question to start a debate on correct times, I was just wondering where the difference came from.

Please note that the boxed version of FC 2.0 will be some months after the download version. The reason is that it will have to be submitted for age ratings (PEGI and ESRB etc), manufactured and got into the supply chain. For Australia/NZ, I hope Mindscape Australia will stock.

OK so I read the Mig-29 Versus F-16 article. As expected, no reveleations. Article debates tricks and hints on how to use the falcons better turn rate versus the fulcrums smaller turn radiuses, also fuel economy of the F-16 to get the better of the fulcrum. It also mentions the intake designs and the conditions both planes can operate in.

Вроде в ЛО не имеют СФМ боты нелетабы. То есть какой-нибудь Су-17... а летабы - нормально. Хотя лучше тут уточнить у разработчиков. PS: а по вопросам, ну неужели до сих пор не ясно. Прямым текстом сказали, что ГС2.0 - это ГС1.1 просто перенесённый в сир DCS. Без изменений*. Посему ответ на вопросы "а сделали ли вы 25см? а изменили ли вы ФМ сушки и эфки?" и подобных - нет *кроме указанных прямо типа нового внешнего вида грача и индикации ПТУР на тэшке

Hello mate :) Welcome to our forum. Take it easy as a heavy joke. We're all good here ;). Su-35 would be nice to get in a sim but not in high-fidelity sim like DCS where every part of the aircraft, avionic, weapons systems, etc. must work exacly as in real world. We won't get F-22 for a same reason - most of data is a secret. This can happen only in arcade games like HAWX. By the way I would rather want Vietnam era aircraft with highly advanced flight model, exact working weapon system and primitive avionics than those fancy cyber era planes. Many people here would agree it could be a much more fun to fly such things where pilot/player is more important and both sides have almost equal chances to win.

I find that 15 bucks is pretty reasonable considering this is the first patch in several years and it allows multiplayer compatibility with Black Shark. Not to mention the terrain, mission editor, and the standard list of patch fixes and tweaks. If anything the only negatives to this whole patch is that it took so long to get here, and for the initial release it will only be available online (which is a negative for those who don't like buy stuff digitally).

People with more money should enjoy more then people with less, regardless that all of them paid the same amount for the same product. ED makes money out of selling the sim to high-end users only. Wow, I really got attacked for that. I'm sorry, but I'm just curious! I got a little worried with that FAQ response, sooooo... forgive me? All I wanted to know was what would be required to put the models back in, not if they would be able to! Anyway, please stop asking for more, people. We've got what we need and they're improving an existing game, not making a new one. As far as I can tell, this is going to feel very clean and new as it stands right now, so I'd just watch what you say.
