This is not a personal attack just an observation. Ok I see you have like huge amount of rep and you have more post than most and your an Ed tester. I am amazed that you are a tester with all most no knowledge of the A-10 and its capability. If your going to open a thread that says ask any thing but later post well that is covered buy the NDA. Or an Excuse that other people will have to answer that question in my opinion it can just add to more confusion. A great idea poorly executed. There is plenty of information on the cannon and its capabilities on the net stalling the aircraft with recoil is not one of them. The (PAC) Precision Attitude system works with the (SAS) Stability Augment System. In the A and A+ model there is a switch located on the left mid section of the windscreen. That would turn the system on to be activated by squeezing the trigger to the first detent. Activating the system and stabilizing the aircraft for ground attack.The 30mm gum fires when the trigger is pulled all the way back. In the C model there is no longer a switch located on the left mid section of the windscreen. I have not yet found documentation on how the PAC system works now in the A-10C model. If your engaged in air to air with your gun having the PAC system automatically turned on by pulling the trigger to the first detent would not make much sense. .

Ok this is thread about my Comp. and how strong he is still now. This game is from 2010, it support 3D glasses and so on and so on. Now i will post a picture taken with fraps cos game can do it by here self with prnt. screen and proof that my machine is still rocking with CPU AMD Dual Core 5400+ OC at 3,2 Ghz, GPU 260GTX Gainward and 2 gig of ram runing at 800 MhzDDR2. I am posting this cos some of the peeps in this comunity was telling me that i can`t play newest games on very high setings, so here is the proof, 16AA, 16AF and in game everithing is on maximal detail level i could set up and game is running so smothe that i couldn`t believe my self, so for those unbelivers enjoy and i would ask Admin or Mod. to leave this Thread a lil bit in here so the peeps can see the picture and so that they can be sure that there machines will rock for few more years with no problems. Also my FC 2 and BS are working just fine with good set up. I also must say that last Arma 2 Arrowhead. is running like hell on ultra high settings. So cheers and Salute to all good peeps! Is a PW engine thing. Simple answer, air used to move the exhaust nozzle from open to close and vise verse. The PW engine uses 13th Stage bleed air ( air coming from the 13th stage of compression of N-2) to actuate or spin the Convergent Exhaust Nozzle Control (CENC) which in term spins flex shaft that moves 4 actuator to move the nozzle to the correct position to ensure proper thrust, help control N1 speed and help diminished or prevent Stalls/Stagnation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernoulli%27s_principle

It's a two-way street though, isn't it? I mean, it's not rocket-science. People are naturally interested in the A10C and that's to be expected. As a consequence the forums are inundated with countless threads that would more easily be dealt with in one thread, saving all a lot of headache. What should be obvious to all is that we as Testers will only be able to comment/expand on particular issues that have already been addressed by the Devs/Producers of ED, either in posts or producers' notes. Post a question and we'll do our best to answer......Do us the favour and ensure that your question posted accords with the above phrase in bold. If you are not entirely sure, well then do us the extra favour and err on the side of patience until said issue is addressed by the Devs/Producers. If some misunderstanding occurs during the questioning process then understand that the phrase 'Covered by NDA' is protecting the proprietary interests of TFC/ED and not an attempt to irritate. Assuming that your question stands to be addressed, we'll obviously do our best to address it as thoroughly as possible. As said, apart from specific areas of expertise from Translators/Voice-Over to RL current SME's, there will be someone who will be able to adequately answer your question. If you're not happy with the answer given, request further/additional info until you are happy with the answer provided - do not berate the messenger at the first sign of 'bad/inadequate info'. Again, provided that said info is within the purview of the above, it will in all probability be answered to your satisfaction. I never stated that I personally will answer all of the questions, what I did said thou is that the purpose of this thread is to keep this section of the forums tidier, so all the little questions related to A10 could be asked and answered in this single thread instead of creating new separate one. And yes, my knowledge of A10 in particular is quiet limited to A-10C Flight manual, which is under the NDA agreement. Testers don't really chose the projects to test, they're been given to them. As it happens I mostly deal with graphic artifacts and sound issues. About the reputation... hmm, what can I say? It's not like I give it to my self. Feel free to answer any questions yourself. P.S. Have you found documentation on the PAC system yet?

Yes, you might have to reinstall FC2. If you use Mods, i recommend you to use multiply installations.

Well, main reason I'd recommend a budget version of a newer card rather than a cheap older card is that the price difference is miniscule but the newer ones grant you Dx11. Basically it's a simple futureproofing (for function if not necessarily performance in the multi-year perspective) at a price hike of a few snickers bars. That said, I have not been able to do a proper analysis of the 460 yet since I am currently deployed on a contract. The 465 was a disaster due to the reasons the article you quoted stated, but it was different silicon so it is difficult to infer anything from it's cousin. My advice right now would be either an ATi 5650 or 5750, depending on the price point, with the caveat about the 460 in mind - it is an interesting card but really the only nVidia card that in my opinion is able to possibly compete in the value for dollar sense. The main component in that judgement isn't purchase price though but initial reports of practical wattage, since GPU's are a bit like supercomputers: purchase price is a very minor part of the expense in it's lifetime compared to electricity. For enthusiasts my recommendation would be non-standard chipset 5850's, like the ASUS "TOP" version. But at that point we are entering the premium realm of 300+ dollars, which until now is 100 dollars above what I have ever paid for a GPU with the sole exception of my absolutely awesome GeForce 7800, though that one did cause my PSU to go the way of Chernobyl. :P
