Hi there, hi Pilots ! For my first post, I wanted to say a bit about myself. My name is Laurent, I'm 42 years old and I live very close to Grenoble, the door of the Alpes. I discovered DCS A-10 C Warthog when it came out on Steam. I knew about DCS Black Shark and was already amazed by how it looked like, but a bit scared by its complexity, which made me hesitate a long time for buying it. The DCS A-10 C came out and I was really astonished by the beauty of this sim. Since I prefer war planes to hellis, I was not scared anymore and told myself : this time I want it, whatever the complexity !! So, I ordered it on Steam and everything is fine. Since then, I came very often on this forum and I have to say that I'm really impressed by this communty and the passion that members are showing. The different posts in various topics helped me a lot to progress with the Warthog handling and now I feel fine with it but I'm sure there is still a lot to learn. Allthough I did most of the single missions of the game, and some simple missions downloaded from this forum, I still have to make the leap in the multiplayer aspect of this sim. As a final word I would say : THANK YOU !! Continue the good and amazing work and many many thanks to Eagle Dynamics for such an amazing simulation Have a nice day and nice flights

New version of the app is arrived !! we are now in 0.3. I have reworked the UI, better than the old one but not perfect I know ;) You can now have access to the check lists available in the flight manual. I have just rearranged them. But don't take care about these check lists because I know that everyone wants to use their own check list so in the next release you will be able to provide your own check lists with your own pictures and share them with your team or the community. If you like my work, and want to help me in the project, please consider using the donate button by clicking the menu button in the home page. Yes I want to add an encyclopaedia in the future, I think it will be great for mission designers, of course with pictures. Don't hesitate to e-mail me if you have some ideas about the UI and stuff like that. And everyone can e-mail me ideas at : yeepeekai at gmail dot com ;) Of course all new features will be added when existing features will be finished For the moment all you can use is the aidromes part of the app because I have added SHU77's airports diagram. If you want to have check lists and other stuff for Blackshark, not for the moment, but when you will be able to make your own check lists in the next release, why not add some check lists for blackshark ;) But if you think it can be usefull for users, why not considering making 2 apps, one for black shark, and one for Warthog... I don't know... First of all you can tell me by mail what can we change from the warthog app to make a black shark app

BoneSaw: Z if you're using a keyboard (QWERTY), Y if you're using a kezboard (QWERTZ). The LAlt (slow down), LShift (reset to 1x), and LCtrl (speed up) modifiers remain the same regardless of keyboard layout.

А что именно тоже самое? Уходит верхняя строчка или остается проблема с интерфейсом в мультиплеере? Если все-таки уходит верхняя строка, можно попробовать откалибровать монитор под это новое разрешение. ЭЛТшки болезненно воспринимают замену "родного" разрешения и им нужно немного подправить геометрию. При этом, например, мой монитор запоминает настройки для каждого разрешения и калибровку нужно делать всего один раз. Если и это не поможет, тогда сдаюсь - у меня идеи закончились.

Mooshim... I'll say it again to make it clear: ' means minutes. The number before the ' mark is the minutes " means seconds. The number before the " mark is seconds . is a decimal point. the number directly before it (left-to-right) is the ones place. The number directly after it is the tenths place. I know you know how that works. Never insert or delete a decimal point if there isn't or is one. A space is used to separate numbers in different units! The CDU must have numbers in degrees/minutes format, with three numbers after the decimal point. If it helps you, you can actually enter the decimal point into the CDU! I do! So anyway, how does one convert this coordinate?: 42 16.879'N 039 54.921'E NO CONVERSION IS NECESSARY! It's in the format the CDU expects: degrees and minutes, with the minutes rounded to the nearest thousandth. What about this one? 44 19' 55.4"N 041 55' 13.0"E Notice that with the seconds mark (") being after the last number, it means the last number is in seconds and we have to convert. So: Lattitude: 44 degrees + 19 minutes + 55.4 seconds = 44 degrees + 19 minutes + 55.4/60 minutes 55.4/60 = 0.923, so: = 44 degrees + 19 minutes + 0.923 minutes = 44 19.923' Longitude: 41 degrees + 55 minutes + 13.0 seconds = 41 degrees + 55 minutes + 13.0/60 minutes 13.0/60 = 0.217, so: = 41 degrees + 55 minutes + 0.217 minutes = 41 55.217' So the coordinate is: 44 19.923'N 041 55.217'E Note that I am OMITTING the degrees symbol. It's obvious it should be there, and seeing as it's a tough character to reach on the character map, it's easiest to just skip it. One final example: 37 04'N 114 42'W To convert that one for CDU entry, you need to of course, add the zeros: 37 04.000' N 114 42.000' W As the CDU always needs the three digits after the decimal point. Again, you can actually enter the decimal point into the CDU if helps.

The lower left of the HUD shows what sensor is SOI The wedding cake symbol on the TAD indicates the location of the SPI (it will overlap either the current steerpoint, the current TGP location or the currently hooked symbol depending on which Sensor is SOI when you designate SPI)

hey ashcan... Thats great you want to get into MP. Sounds like youre all set but you will need to install teamspeak 3 and map a Push-To_Talk button to your stick. The guys at http://firstfighterwing.com/joomla/ are very cool and will take you out on sorties and teach you a ton of stuff (although it is a good idea to know your way around your weapons and have a basic knowledge of nav). Either way youre in for a whole new world bud. On the link above, You can click on the top of the teamspeak list and it will launch and hook you up to their teamspeak server.

Бред какой то. Установил 32битку на 64 битную семёрку, заменил файлы от Андрея стала 64. Потом установил файлы от 32 чтоб наконец то возрадоваться фритреку и теперь засада с текстура. Что за нонсенс.? На одном и том же компьютере столько гемора. Я считаю это ваша недоработка или ещё что похуже. 1. Не давать пользователю выбрать версию 32 или 64 при инстале. 2. Невозможность настраивать качество под себя в 32 битной версии.

С БМП-1 та же история - у БМП-1 при виде Ф10 отображается название как у БМП-2, в сетевой игре, если её уничтожают, в чат также выводится сообщение, что уничтожена БМП-2. Версия 1.02.

Hi, I reworked the shape of the MiG29. And after I did it I worked for new Textures because the ED textures are at the limit of details. And so I dumped my complete old MiG models and started again and one more time. Someday 59Krieger will finish his outstanding MiG model and I waiting for it. But for now my own model should be well... 74.653 polygons + 1 times 2048x2048+ 6 times 1024x1024 textures render without any effects Uploaded with ImageShack.us My best wishes, TOM

Well , I think it is a little bit critical: Krieger allready works on his MiG29 since a long time and I don`t want to thrust him or go into competition with him. I have a big big respect about his job he did so far. And so I think it couldn`t be a nice step to show my own "work in progress" pics. I don`t know ...
