  1. I was provided a large amount of material and after checking, none of this is classified, FOUO, or marked for NFD. As such, this is basically 'good to know' information. I have pages and pages of this crap. I'll also point out that some of this information is deprecated, and it mostly pertains to the A-10A, as evidenced by some references to obsolete HOTAS commands. I'll see if I can get my hands on A-10C information, but much of this remains valid between both models. I also don't know just how accurate the sim is in regards to some of this. This is essentially what the Air Force considers 'training' for avionics techs, even though quite obviously a lot of it doesn't apply to our job. The theory, however, is that by being able to understand exactly how the entire system works, it'll make it easier to troubleshoot. These are ripped from our CDCs. Again, no classification level of any kind is present on this information. Provided for you, the A-10 enthusiast. Hopefully someone can find some good info here. ED: Consider this another official source for A-10 information if you discover a way to enhance a feature. For example, it's suggested that EAC can fall offline in excessive PAC conditions. I also have far, far more information on the F-15C and E, so when you make the next module (:)), I can provide a lot of unclassified information if need be. DCS A-10 Gun Information - Expanded.pdf

  2. This fixed the need for 'every frame' display (256, 512 or 1024) for me. It also fixed my corrupt TGP/Mirrors. 1. Download nvidia inspector, I used 1.9.5.5 - Nvidia Inspector 1.9.5.5 . Extract it to a folder (ex: C:\NvidiaInspector 2. Run the program, once it's open click the driver profile setting button 3. In the Profiles dropdown selection box, pick Digital Combat Simulator Black Shark. Or just type in digital and it will come up 4. Scroll down until you see the SLI settings. These are the default values it gives 5. We will change the following: - SLI rendering mode: SLI_RENDERING_MODE_FORCE_AFR_OF_SFR_FALLBACK_3AFR 6. At the very top right of nvidia inspector, hit "APPLY CHANGES". You're done! PLEASE NOTE: If these settings do not work for you, just simply use the "restore current profile to nvidia default settings" button at the top of nvidia inspector.

  3. Here is the YouTube vid showing my interaction with the Ground Crew via the Intercom Panel. The volume came out very low, so please crank up the volume, sorry about that.(don't forget to turn your volume back down when your done!):shocking: Also, there is some fun cloud flickering due to my SLI settings, so if you want a seizure, just stare at them. I recommend viewing in as high a resolution as you can, and maybe watch it at YouTube instead of the embedded video here.

  5. Just thought I'd reply with a quick update before I log off for half the day. To those that have already tried any of the changes, could you please try: AFR_OF_SFR_FALLBACK_3AFR for sli rendering mode. I have updated the guide and I now use this, it seems too good to be true but I get no cloud flicker, I can use any 'non' everyframe display, i get no corrupt tgp/mirrors, and I don't lose any FPS at all. Would be interesting to see other peoples results. EDIT: Yeah, I just did the first instant action mission and didn't see a single cloud flicker, TGP/Mav display didn't get corrupt, and I did the mission using 512 display (not everyframe). Man I hope this works for others!!! I used the new above Sli rendering mode AFR_OF_SFR_FALLBACK_3AFR

  10. if your wings are breaking you are simply overstressing the aircraft and solution is simple, stop yanking on the stick all the way suddenly, if you were sitting in that aircraft for real you would know what it feels like to do that at high speed so you wouldn't be doing it, you have to adjust your flying style to be more smooth and not sudden yanking on the stick like that.

  11. The behaviour in 1.1.0.9 is correct according the Official Flight manuals from the USAF, as I posted above. The Top and Bottom Lights are part of the same system as the Luminescent strips (Formation Lights). If the green strips are on, so are the top and bottom lights. Nate

  13. It will run on 32-bit, but may require tweaking. As the FAQ states, it is strongly recommended to use 64-bit but a 32-bit executable set is provided. There are some entries in the FAQ that provides help with some of the expected problems when running on 32-bit. You can also find directions to the most common "fix" in my signature. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=67747

  15. Any news on the integration of blackshark and possibly LO to the DCS-a10 environment? Been quiet for a bit on the DEV side for a while. I'm just looking forward to implement some good missions with my squad, and not only DCS-a10... Thanks in advance
