  1. Just a quick "Hello" from the guys over at SYNDICATE Sqn (www.syndicatesquadron.net). If you see someone wildly out of control spinning towards the ground, in all lilkelyhood its one of us. Please jump into a server if you see us online. I know we are all in the same boat climbing the steep learning curve that is P51 DCS so all help is greatly received! (Can you climb a curve in a boat??!?). If you are a newb like us and wanna learn along with us then also drop into our TS3 room. For those that know us from IL2 and RoF a quick S! aswell. Cheers guys, SYN_Jedders

  2. http://forums.creative.com/showthread.php?t=697079 Microphone issues on Windows 7/Vista 64-bit (x64) with 4GB of RAM or more Audigy driver does not support 64-bit addressing, resulting in random issues with the Microphone (static, robotic or distorted voice, white noise). Workarounds: - connect your microphone to your motherboard's integrated HD Audio input - install the 32-bit (x86) version of Windows - limit the RAM available to Windows to less than 4GB - enable Memore Hole in BIOS Setup, if your motherboard supports the setting последний пункт попробовать, в БИОСе может по другому обзывться, не поможет, менять звук однозначно.

  3. If that is all the problem is then ED should be able to fix it. I originally bought the BS 2 upgrade and replaced it with a full version. I gave the upgrade key to another forum member by opening a support ticket and requesting the transfer. It took couple of days but it was taken care of with no issues. This is all I put in the ticket. The message being refered to is from the intended recipient asking if this could be done.

  4. That type scenario might make for a nice training mission when DCS: MiG-21 gets out.

  11. Ali, that is nice!!! I wish clod isn't such a freak show. If I may, where are they hiding the skin in dcs? And how do you get to the shader texture?

  12. Forget what I wrote above and use the file attached - this is a vanilla 1.1.2.1 view.lua It has the P-51D in line #135 inside . Change it to your liking. I'm really puzzled why you don't have this entry in the file you posted. - is your file is a copy before the P-51D is installed to DCS:World? View.lua

  13. Hi John The AN/ALR-69 is supposed to work in the E to J bands with some C and D capability also. Some ATC radars operate in the L and S band, so it won't be able to pick those up. As bengo mentioned the ability to display ATC radars that are within its frequency domain (I mention display and not detect, as it should detect these emissions), will be down to how the software has been programmed and what mission files are currently loaded. As long as the system can recognise an ATC radar, it can be programmed to filter it out and not display it. On the off chance that an ATC radar functions in a way similar to a threat radar in search, the RWR will display its presence, either as an unknown emission or as an ambiguous emission. Cheers

  16. I've noticed the same. It does my head in because I'm aware of the problem so I try to take it easy but it still happens sometimes. By the way, ralfi, love your youtube vids! I've been using your trust in your wingman to "sell" the sim to friends.

  18. You can do this quite easily in A-10C. No. Just no :) ... and the wrong thing to do with a helicopter. What will you do when the AI gets smarter and waits for you to be in a much nicer position (for them) before they even lase you? It's not like that's needed for an approximate range. What happens when you run into a more intelligently deployedm layered defense? This baiting thing works fine - and it works in A-10C just as well, but one of these days the SAMs will gain somewhat better decision-making AI routines, and then you'll be the one being baited.

  21. This model of MiG-29 is absolutely superb and it would be extreme waste not to finish it to DCS standard, and sold ad 3rd Party (or finished off by ED) for DCS. The external model is already at excellent quality level (I dream of flying this in DCS and starting to build cockpit for it), if cockpit is done also with same quality this would be IT for me :) If any 3rd party mod has to get into DCS this is it ;)
