my 3D projects for the next period are the next jets. i have a lot o f work to do still, but these are some little teasers. the F-16 is now based on blueprints by General Dynamics and it's very accurate. the superhornet is still at the level of studying the shape so it'll take longer to finish it. i'm making these for dcs and i'm looking for someone to make 3d working cockpits for them, or at least to animate my 3d cockpits, because i don't know how to do it.
Hi all
If you have BS1 and would like to upgrade to BS2 but can't afford it then I have 1 licence key for you
Reply to this thread, and then on Friday or the w/e I'll pick a post and send you the key
(I brought the upgrade for 1 to 2 and then ended up buying the BS2 full anyway so it would work with DCS World during the Beta)
The licence key is for the English D/L version
Good luck
JP

Yes but the word profit does not have to mean financial gain, to profit can be to benefit in a number of ways which I suspect most early buyers will.
At the end of the day we don't fork over this money for a tool to get us from A to B like a car or a device like a electric drill which must last us a couple of years. We buy it for the entertainment and in this case ED has shown in the past that we can get a lot of entertainment from their products whether in beta form or not. So I say we are getting our money's worth.
If you don't feel you cant gain any entertainment from the beta product then I find that strange but understandable why you would not want to pay.
A-10C gun reticle every now and then bounces up and down as I'm about to rain fire down on SPI so I can't get a line of fire down exactly where I want it.
Any ideas?
After talking with the higher ups, and to show you the way our stuff is modeled in FSX (all pics are in game, and the panel pics are not renders), the functionality etc , i´m including the T-2 Buckeye´s user´s manual.
The T-2 Buckeye will most likely be our very first product into DCS.
Best regards

Blame that squirrel, that's a lot of beer he's had now. :D
Around 21,742,068 beers if you've had that avatar since you joined.
EDIT: Better figure would be 20,855,172(.41379 of a beer, :D)
There is no DCS Albatros at the moment. The Patriots Jet Team and Virtual Patriots are working together to develop an L-39 C and ZA model that we hope to bring to the DCS world along with that list of aircraft, however.
AFAIK that is as is in real life.
1. Oil pressure is low because oil pumps are driven by engines. So you either silence master caution or it's gona go off once both engines are up and running.
2.Yes, APU generator warning will go off the moment left or right generator takes over. You can at that time switch off APU generator.
FWIW, I got my EVGA GTX 670 FTW ocerclocked to 1238 MHz (Max Boost Freq), 3691 MHz memory clock (7382 MHz effective clock) and it's power stays below 112% the entire time under full load. (I have my power target set to 114% so it doesn't throttle from exceeding the TDP). Max temps in any benchmark and the highest I've seen (in BF3) have been 67 C using a fan curve that gives me 80% fan speed at 69 C (to keep it under the first step of Kepler thermal throttling that starts occuring at 70 C).
Just did a quick test in BF3 after running numerous Heaven DX11 benchmarks flawlessly... no less than ~65-70 fps with maxed out utlra settings and 16xQ CSAA, 16x AF, 8x SS in NVIDIA CP. I'm using a single display at 1920x1080...
This card absolutely kicks ass!!!
Yes, I understand that its possible with iracing because of the extra options to cater for it.
I was just pointing, trying to be on topic, that TIR will screw things up in DCS with three screen rendering. For some people this might be a surprise if they are used to it working better in other games.
But - in iracing you can change the FOV to one that might not be realistic but it will still maintain the correct angles on the screens given the other screen information you entered on setup.
Panels are 2.5 axis projects and really only need DXF or DWG. All you need is the free version of Dassault DraftSight. The person who is setting up the CAM tool paths just opens the DXF/DWG and uses that.

Wow, thanks for that info..here's is another bit of info you may not know..you must have seen a Tuskegee Mustang with " By Request " and also the big number " 66 " the significance of the number " 66 " is the number of lost pilots killed in action during the campaign...
Also you have to look very hard to find this info..
The Brit's, American's and all other's called them the " Red Tail Angels " but the German's called them the " Red Devils " and feared going up against them in a dogfight...
