  1. I've held back on the Russians since ED said they were making new infantry. I don't want to spend too much time no something that soon would be added in core DCS. Especially since infantry takes quite a bit of time to implement. Yeah, we need all the different roles like the US Infantry asset. Well, helicopters take a lot of time to implement, so we'll see. As I mentioned above, it depends on EDs release schedule of their new infantry. Thanks, I'll add it to the list of fixes for the next release. I'll have to take another look at the ranges, I was under the impression that the ERFB is 20-25 km, the ERFB-BB 40 km and the ERFB-BB/RA around 60-70 km. So I thought I'd start with the conventional full bore at release and add the base bleed and/or rocket assisted versions later on. It's on the list, I also have to find suitable 3d models. I haven't found a way to manipulate or customize these effects on a mod level (not affecting the core game). Thanks, I'll add it to the fix list. When I made the LD-3000 I thought I'd scale it as the last step before release since I had trouble finding actual dimensions for it, so I would have to just do it by eye. Unfortunately I forgot it before release.
  2. That's by design. DCS doesn't allow me to make the guided shells player controllable. My assets are primarily AI assets, but I try to implement play control where it is possible. When setting the fire mission in the ME, choose 'Unguided' or 'Guided'. But remember that they have different ranges and won't fire if the target isn't within parameters. Thanks for the info.

  6. It looks like we've reached the limit of 1 TB downloads once again. I'm happy that my assets are of interest to you all, but it's a bit annoying to hit the limit every other day. I've decided to add a secondary download link to help with this issue. The PRIMARY DOWNLOAD is the Dropbox link and the SECONDARY DOWNLOAD is Google Drive. Hopefully together they will provide enough transfer bandwidth.

  9. Yeah, there are a couple of hours until we're open for business again. I tried to make the trailer work as realistic as possible, but it would be great if ED implemented native trailer support.

  11. If you like CIWS and C-RAMs like me, this one will indeed make you very happy. It's the Chinese juiced up version of the Centurion C-RAM - the LD-3000 C-RAM. It's got a 11-barrel radar guided gatling gun capable of spitting out 11000 rounds of 30 mm APDS per minute - that's around 170 lb of ammo per second! It's trailer based and will come in two versions, one stationary and one mobile.
  12. Thanks for the added info. I will look into it. Yeah, as mentioned, this is a known issue with 2.9 so I will await a DCS patch. It will affect all kind of weapons using cruise missile schemes including my ADM-160. Yep, not much I can do, sometimes we reach the download limit of 1 TB per day. And I've talked to Dropbox about it, they don't sell any added bandwidth. The solution is simply to wait 24 hours for it to reset again. I haven't found a more cost effective solution than Dropbox though. 1 TB bandwidth per day is pretty much, the alternatives which allows more are often paid by the GB. And that is a no-go since I run this on a hobbyist basis and pay for it myself. See my answer above. Exactly!

  14. Absolutely, I also keep a banner at the top of my site's front page with all known issues. I'm monitoring the progress of bug fixing closely and will report when the issues have been fixed.

  16. I plan to also include a stationary M777 unit. I might add the MTVR as a standalone since it's already in the pack, it's very little extra work. Haha, are you under the impression that setting the deployment speed is the complex part of the creation? It would take me a second to add a 2 hour deployment time. But in general, most weapon systems in DCS have a sped up deployment/engagement process. I usually try to balance it between realism, gameplay and relation to other similar DCS assets. I started including desert liveries to my assets a while back and plan to do the same for this one. It has to be a lot of smoke and mirrors since ED doesn't have native support for this. I use the Red/Green alarm status to release and deploy the howitzer. That is also why I have to put it in front of the truck instead of having it behind, I have to trick DCS to do stuff it isn't suppose to do.

  18. No fixes for the cruise missile issues with the latest 2.9 patch. Let's hope they're working on it for the next one...
  19. Not quite, I have test missions I run for these kind of scenarios, so that I can test the same setup with different DCS versions. And a certain test mission ran fine with 2.8 and won't load troopers with 2.9. ED has made some code changes that I will have to implement on the transported units, but I suspect that the transport units also needs fixing.
  20. Hm, I did a lot of testing with ED vehicle + ED soldier, ED vehicle + CH soldier, CH vehicle + ED soldier and CH vehicle + CH soldier. The whole transport thing seem very erratic at the moment. I didn't get satisfactory results even while using ED/ED units. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Before I make any change I think I will need to await the next DCS patch.
  21. Yep, most likely. Hm, I didn't know this. I would have to look into it to answer. Nope, I haven't focused on that parameter, let me see what I can do. My priority right now is to get/make a realistic Flight III model and replace the core game one I'm using right now. The reason I tell everyone that all my assets work while installed at the same time is not for bragging, but to help DCS users find solid ground when battling mod issues. If I can run all my assets without DCS crashing then we know these are not your issue. I have seen examples where my code is used in other mods and not made unique, these will then conflict and cause DCS to crash or behave strangely. I'm happy to hear that the PGL-625 update fixed your issues. Unfortunately that's the name of the game with mods, since I don't get any information on DCS changes before it's released, I can't update my assets in advance like the 3rd parties.
