Completely agree, I guess I made the assumption that all the vendors received these to "play" with. I now understand this wasn't the case (through no fault on Varjos part I hasten to add). A "workaround" would be great, mine's sitting on the bench in my office at present.

Not installed...sitting in the box. Saw the convo on discord this morning and decided to hold off installing. I'm using OpenXR and OXRTK. I have some CPU and GPU framertime figures I grabbed yesterday evening using my 3090ti though so will compare if/when the issues get sorted.

There's an issue with 4090s and VB currently. It's being investigated, at present using a 4090 with VB and a number of titles causes "ghosting". Varjo are aware, and it's in open discussion on their discord. https://discord.com/channels/839478779256897546/852037353035005964

Everyone wants MT, it's al huge task hence the time required. We're talking about a possibly minor change to increase performance in the interim. It's frankly a no brainer.

I know it's not to everyone's taste or ability but go the IBM route (I built it myself) if you have the know how it's invariably cheaper and more satisfying, if you don't, phone a friend or read up, get the components and lay your requirements out to a local, small PC shop.

I agree, however the FE price on the Nvidia store right now is £1700, it's out of stock...as it no doubt will be when it goes on sale tomorrow

I'd love for that to be true, and perhaps it will be. Currently 12900K at 5.4ghz all core of 5.1. I not holding out for 50-70% increase in DCS performance in VR, as amazing as that would be.

Mulling the same dilemma, all my slowdowns, which really only occur in heavy scenarios with scripts etc (I'm looking at you through the inferno) are mostly as a result of CPU. So really wondering what benefit if any I'd see over my existing 3090ti. Guess we'll have to wait for some "DCS data" for VR.

Any chance we can get this, apparently simple change into DCS? It appears it will likely give a nice boost to performance (it certainly did in the "other" sim).

You added to dcs.exe shortcut, not the updater.exe? You need to run dcs.exe with that flag not the updater.

I've seen similar behaviour. Does it track if you zoom in and out slightly whilst trying to obtain the track?

Gonna do that right now! Works a treat!! May take a little bit to get used to the slightly slower more linear movement but at least it's way more predictable

I have exactly the same issue and couldn't find a solution. I've kind of learned to live with it, but it is a little frustrating.

Hi, Recently been trying lot s of CCIP in the Harrier, and used Red kites excellent video as an aid: However, at 3:41 (ish) there is mention of depressing the pickle button (to tag the target) and then using cage/uncage to switch to AUTO mode, so there's no need to hold the pickle button down if the target is a long ways off. This doesn't seem to work for me in the latest OB (I'm pretty sure it did in the previous OB). If I tag the target with a quick depress of pickle and then cage/uncage, the dotted bomb fall line simply disappears. Anyone have any ideas or a logical explanation?

Agreed, and never noticed this phenomenon in my G2, just the Aero. Perhaps it was just masked in the G2?

Just got a chance to try this again tonight, and it worked! Well I say it worked, I managed to crack two of the ammo dumps but my wingmen all got shot down

Interesting. I've done the opposite when I was learning. Designate then TOO and forgot to unsafe the JDAMS. The procedure in the vid definetely works. You're using GBU38s right?
