Strange, I had a mission starting on Senaki airfield that I flew many many times without problems. I didn't fly the Dora for a while, but now I simply am no more able to take off. The plane skids over the runway, and the tailweel doesn't align, it just stays in a cambered position and skids in all directions, as if the runway was very wet or had a thin layer of ice. Anyway take off is no longer possible at all. Did something change or is my muscle memory simply gone over time? ------------------- Damn I simply forgot to pull the stick backwards - so it was not my muscle memory, but my brain memory that was at fault :)

Ah OK, no worries, with the TACAN and the runway course heading I can sort my way out kinda for the moment! Thanks!

A stupid question maybe: how do I input ILS values with a decimal? Like 108.75 (Vaziani AB, Caucasus map) ? TACAN works fine but I can't manage to setup ILS.

I will swap my videocard for a newer one. Do I need to deactivate all my modules prrior to the swap and reactivate after installation?

No complaints from my side. The Mig-21 is still an absolute blast! Really fun to fly.

I think it's part of the fun to loose lock, and the Sparrow is quite good at relatively close ranges I feel! Anyway I'm havi ng a blast dogfighting in the Hornet (& Mirage) !

I have the same problem. I cannot set TDC slew in the axis commands. In the key section there is no TDC. I set Sensor Contro switch aft, fw, left, right to the hat, but this changes the radar modes and not the TDC? What do you mean with the "sensor hat" ? (I use a Saitek controller)

Yes I pumped two Magics and a Super 530 missile into an AI Mig 21bis, that then just continued the dogfight without flaps (!), outturning me easily. I think the many holes improved its aerodynamics somehow :D

I have the same issue, when switching views I get black cockpits, black aircraft skins, it takes a few seconds to reload the textures. Seems an optimisation trade-off: freeing up memory creates I/O bottlenecks.

I also have performance problems now that I didn't have in 2.5. 2.5 worked very well on my PC, In 2.5.1 when I switch views (eg F2 to another plane or so, it always starts with a black object and it takes time to reload the skins. ) This makes that I now are no longer able to make videos and experience a serious FPS hit at the same time. I have enough memory so that is not the issue.

I bought it when it came out and recently rediscovered it. An absolutely amazing aircraft, really a pilot's plane, so fun to fly, so balanced! Very nice "upgrade" coming from a Mustang: it is thrilling to walk through history flying these planes in succession. A must have truly!

Sorry but a simple rule of 3 gives me still the F-35 with the least mishaps per whatever year/number of flight hours/fleet size, no?.

OK one class A mishap. Compare this to the database of F-16 mishaps: http://www.f-16.net/aircraft-database/F-16/mishaps-and-accidents/ Or the infamous but oh so beautiful Starfighter: http://www.i-f-s.nl/f-104-accidents/ One must say LM improved its game a lot since Starfighter and F-16 ! Rafale and Typhoon are also quite safe but had their share of accidents already. And of course Hornet/Super Hornet have a long list of incidents but just like F-16 also a very large number of flight hours.

It is indeed amazingly safe to fly!

Currently in 2.5 I cannot select "player can drive" for the WWII tanks. I have CA, Normandy map and WWII Assets pack installed, but I cannot drive the WWII tanks in any role. I can perfectly drive the modern tanks such as Abrams etc. So I guess not available yet?

The Mirage is one of my favourite aircrafts! Well done by Razbam, enjoying it very much!
