  1. Thanks very much, appreciate the detailed comments and great to hear you enjoyed the campaign!
  2. Thanks very much! Eventually I hope to, but nothing planned yet.
  3. Ha ha fair enough, it is a helo! I stand corrected.
  4. Your controllers disconnecting won't have anything to do with the campaign. Wish I could offer you some advice but no expert in that area, maybe someone else will throw a few ideas out if they read this. Did some data link tests yesterday, think there's a bug in the Viper from what I've read, so might need to wait on a fix from ED for that, but it is will have very little bearing on the mission.
  5. I've had a look at it, everything's set correctly, although I saw the same as you and Bug's DL never appeared. Don't think its a helo you've seen on the DL as it doesn't have DL, and what ever it was for me it was green so not part of your flights network. Think it's a general Viper bug, everything is set up correctly and verified in cockpit through the DL page, so just a case of waiting for an update to fix it. Shouldn't affect the campaign in any way, and if you really want to know where your wingman is, you can use the F10 map.
  6. Yeah it's a case of waiting for the next update, took about 5 seconds to fix, but unfortunately things don't get patched out until the next ED update to DCS. The crash site isn't where the pilot is, he's in the woods to the south.
  7. Thanks for the track, really helpful. Looks like Newts manages to lock himself into some ridiculous self induced fall out the sky, he has quite a tight orbit to maintain so this is probably the cause. Easily fixed .
  8. Mission 10 isn't a mod conflict, (caused by a terrain bug), it's fixed internally just waiting on ED to hot fix the files. Until then you might have to abort the task to get through it unfortunately.
  9. Roger that, I'll check his glasses!
  10. Thanks glad you're enjoying. All fuses should be ok now, but the Rockeyes have changed to a timed release not an altitude release, which is catching people out I believe. By default I think PRI releases the canister munitions after 1.2s and OPT releases them after 4s, so use PRI from low alt and OPT from higher altitudes.
  11. I've tested mission 9, all worked ok for me. Other user reporter it worked ok after removing mods - you both had A4 and C-130 as common mods so possible one of those is the problem. Generally we advise playing campaigns without mods installed as they have weird effects we just can't predict.
  12. No probs, I'll keep you posted.
  13. Ok thanks, other guy also had A4 and c130 so one of them could be the culprit. I'll run some of my own tests as well just in case but often you find the mod is corrupting whatever unit I use to detect the friendly kill, causing it to show as dead the moment it spawns.
  14. Mods are funny like that, they still interfere sometimes. I'll cross check with the other user, see if there's a common mod.
  15. Hi, yeah I've had another report the same from another user. Currently investigating, will fix asap. Thanks for flagging up. Any mods installed by the way so I can check if there's an issue from those?
  16. LOWOS is 100% complete and has been submitted to ED!
  17. Mavs are tricky at first but the common mistake people make I think is trying to treat the seeker head as a target pod. You'll always struggle to ID targets on it the way you would with a TGP, so a different approach is needed. I like to ID the target with the TGP, then zoom the view out and try to mark the target in relation to something obvious, for example the target might now be the third dot left of the road, which is about as much detail as the Mav can make out anyway. It's fine to use Bug to take out targets for you, that's what he's there for. You run the risk of losing points sometimes if you use your wingman, depends on the mission adnd how using up weapons affects your ability to complete later tasks in the mission, but will vary mission to mission.
  18. Campaign Updates 09/08/24 Operation Persian Freedom: Mission 2, 4, 6, 7, 16 - Updated to accommodate new SAM and SCUD AI behavior. Operation Cerberus North: Mission 7, 15 - Updated to compensate for SA-15s engaging bombs. The Kerman Campaign: Mission 1, 8 - Updated to accommodate new SAM AI behavior.
  19. Yeah found the same last night, GUI scale is messed up.
  20. Yes they do, a number of the campaign devs have raised it. Some fixes were in today's patch, with more being worked on. I've had some feedback already that things are better with today's update, if not yet back to where they are prior to last month.
  21. Everything looks ok in the video, can't see any problems with anything your doing. But just ran some tests my end and everything worked perfectly, put a bomb in the middle of them and the comms came on straight away. Only thing I can think of is that for some reason your system isn't detecting a kill on the target units, are you running any mods? These sometimes have unforeseen consequences.
  22. Conditions for completion of this task is to have killed 3 of the 4 highlighted target units (see pic below) + be on the same radio freq you received the task on (VHF FM 38.7). If you are attacking the target yourself you also need to have selected that option from the F10 menu, if the Ronnie attack option was still present it sounds like you didn't do this as selecting either self/flight removes all the options. Hope that helps!
  23. Have you double checked all your keybinds?
  24. I have a guide to the scoring available on my website, go the 'vault' at www.groundpoundersims.com
  25. My pleasure, glad you enjoyed! These new weather affect on the canopy make things interesting for sure. and although the weather is not dynamic, the pockets of rain you keep coming n and out of make the weather feel so much more alive.
