  1. Thanks so much for the detailed feedback, really appreciate it!
  2. Thanks, appreciated!
  3. Most likely your SPI is still set to wherever you (presumably) boresighted your mavs, 2.9 introduced new SPI/SOI logic. Go back onto TGP/WEP and TMS down a few times to clear it.
  4. Brilliant, glad you got to the bottom of it. Thanks for the info!
  5. Thanks very much! Great to hear you enjoyed.
  6. The campaign is fairly heavy in performance demand as it's very detailed, but having said that it sounds like you're having a bigger impact than most, most issues I'm aware of (pre multi threading) were in VR. Few things worth mentioning to check and be aware of. Incirlik, especially the shelters, are not a great area for performance...that's just a Syria map thing. Once away from the base things settle down a lot more. Hopefully you're running the multi threading version, if not I would advise to do so as the high unit counts in the campaign benefit from this. If you use TACVIEW then try disabling it, TACVIEW takes CPU resources and this is made worse with the amount of things it has to track in the campaign. Finally if you have any Win-wing devices then disable the scripts they use in DCS as these are real performance hogs.
  7. You can align once airborne without any issues, I'm currently doing it once at cruise altitude and on the way to the mission area.
  8. And the best missions are still to come .
  9. Thanks! Really appreciate the feedback!
  10. No worries! On fun note I do occasionally hop in the pit after a few drinks...it never ends well
  11. Ok thanks, yeah it's not anything that has been reported by anyone else and I've certainly never experienced what you've described. There is a little turbulence and a little wind so the aircraft will feel more lively than in an instant action, but it certainly shouldn't cause any major issues.
  12. No problem, my pleasure. 87s are for anti personal and light vehicles so perfect for an SA2 site. 97s are more for armour so would be overkill, and I would imagine in real life a lot more expensive.
  13. Sounds odd, not normal. You'll see a small amount of asymmetry in the loadout but nothing that a minor trim out don't solve. Winds are fairly minor in mission 2 and they don't change. Not an issue with a dodgy control axis or anything?
  14. Probably still had a SPI set somewhere else, every time this happens to me I find TMS down a few times on the TGP and then hitting CZ does the trick.
  15. Ah ok thanks very much, I'll have a look. Not sure if that's a new behavior or a bug with the radio that's waiting to be fixed. @Lovi0715 this could be what happened to you?
  16. HI, thanks very much! I'll have a look into it.
  17. Thanks for the feedback!
  18. Very strange, wonder if the last hot fix changed something. Either way good news!
  19. @Critter @zildac I've tested this in a variety of scenarios and configurations and I can't recreate the issue. For me Chief does what he is supposed to every time, but given that you've both had the same issue I've no doubt there is a problem somewhere, I'm just struggling to identify it. If you can, a track or TACVIEW file would be really helpful to try and spot where Chief's behavior goes wrong. Thanks.
  20. Hmmm that is very strange, and as far as I know only happens to you. Might be worth a campaign re install, see if that fixes.
  21. Yes it's a 2.9 bug, ED are aware. Once you put your gear up it works fine so no impact on the missions.
  22. Thanks for the feedback, always appreciated!
  23. Great to hear, hope you enjoy the rest! ATC gives you the setting for QFE (field elevation), this is different to the QNH value in the briefing screen in game (which is atmospheric pressure). It's very confusing and I barely understand it all myself .
  24. Thanks for the feedback .
